Here's some Skaifall info.

There were a select few who's souls were connected to the soul of a dragon.

When a dragon is not in hibernation, the person connected with it will take on some of the same physical similarities as their dragon.

This includes wings, eyes, arms, and legs.

When a dragon is heavily injured, they will go into a long hibernation. During this time, the person will lose the dragon-like attributes.

Once in hibernation, the person's eyes will be the only detail that shows that they are connected.

Their eyes will have a soft glow to them and depending on what dragon they were connected to could result in an uncommon eye color.

Only the oldest member of a person's bloodline is connected with a dragon.

Once the oldest member dies, the next oldest becomes connected.

When one becomes connected their eye color instantly changes to the color of the previous owner.

If the last person in one's bloodline is killed, then the dragon also dies.

If the dragon is killed but the person is still alive, they will lose their dragon attributes and their special eye color.

Adix is the third protagonists of Skaifall. She is Mayla's best friend. She is pretty much homeless because of her "flaws". Which are her wings, and a birthmark on her cheek. When Mayla would escape the freak show at night with help of Evric, she would meet up with Adix and hang out until Mayla would go have return.

When Mayla's feathers came in around the age of 6, the Ringmaster decided that once she was able to fly that she'd be ready to preform in the freak show. Mayla was forced to get a tattoo of the council symbol over her left eye to show her place in life as a freak act.

Mayla and Adix are 18.

Evric is 19.

Tala is 44.

This is Tala, the main antagonist of Skaifall. She is the only other person whose soul is connected to a dragon. She is considered by their society as the “perfect being” and is the second highest ranking council member.

She is Mayla’s polar opposite in almost every way. Tala has a daughter who’s around Mayla’s age and is next in line to join the council once there’s an opening. Tala’s presence is supposed to be a beacon of fairness and equality in their society.

Here’s some info on Skaifall

Skaifall is the name of an alternate dimension that can be accessed through a portal that can only be opened by someone who is connected to a dragon. They have to say a certain chant for it to work.

Half of the chant is currently lost so that means once you enter Skaifall, you can’t return. If someone has a dragon tries the first part of the chant while in Skaifall, the portal will open but no one can return to the other side. If both parts are said together, anyone can pass to and from the portal.

The main differences between the original dimension and Skaifall is that Skaifall has a red sky, grey/black clouds and sand, blue fire, and much more. The original dimension is almost identical to Earth however, it’s much more technologically advanced. Skaifall for example, has around the amount if technology as the world of Skyrim.

This is Evric, one of the protagonists of Skaifall. He is a guard for the freak show that Mayla is in. He is one of Mayla’s closest and only friends. Evric used to be a royal guardsmen but kept getting demoted because he wasn’t considered “pure” anymore; because of his eyes and darkened hair and was too compassionate towards others.

Being a guard for the freak show is one of the lowest ranks you can go, and he is on the verge of being banished.

This is Mayla, the main character of Skaifall. She is an 18 year old girl who has been in the freak show for nearly her entirely life. The mark on her eye is a tattoo that she was forced to get at a very young age. The symbol is the mark of the High Council. The council is a select few people who make the laws and are in charge of everything. Mayla is one of two people left who’s soul is connected to a dragon. She has a passion for flying and can fly very fast. It’s part of her preformance.
