I have this really stupid and terrible Stolen Century headcanon that during one cycle Barry decides to grow a full beard and almost every other member of the IPRE fucking hates it. (It doesn’t look BAD, exactly, it’s just you get used to someone’s face looking a certain way once youve known them for almost a hundred years and its WEIRD)  

The crew begs him to shave it off for months. He refuses because Lup thinks it’s cute.

“I’m just saying, you could get a bow out front or I could dig one up. No skin off my bones. I have work to do.” He shrugged, toying with his amazing mustache just as Taako and his pals arrives.

He really doesn’t want to waste any more time here than he needs. It’s too bad his father wouldn’t allow him to bring his own arsenal, but he might as well humor the man. “If you insist. But my price isn’t changing.”

“That sounds fair, if you can keep the ol’ girl, I’d be willing to pay YOU gold for clearing my inventory. An endless chest is great and all but not when that thing is facing up every time you go looking for it.” 

“Fair enough. Then the bow and two quivers of arrows for another one fifty, rounding that off to three hundred fifty gold pieces for the four items. Agreed?” He stuck out his hand to shake, giving him an all business smile.

“That sounds fair, if you can keep the ol’ girl, I’d be willing to pay YOU gold for clearing my inventory. An endless chest is great and all but not when that thing is facing up every time you go looking for it.”

A loud laugh escapes from the man before fanning himself. Though he is a tad sad with putting his precious sword to the side. Time for the imported goods then. Freddy goes deeper into the chest where his torso is practically gone until he pulls out a finely crafted sword with mysterious markings on it.

“This one’s a beauty. It’s a hard one to sell since it may have a curse placed upon it. It always returns to it’s owner one way or another. Haven’t been able to keep the darn thing away. You can try if you like.”

“It does, does it?” Takumi cocked his head, looking the sword over and testing it again. It was more along the lines of what he was looking for, though that supposed “curse” did sound like an inconvenience.

“I’ll pay you two hundred gold for it - and I want nothing less than a full refund should it return to you, otherwise it’s just a scam.”

Gotcha.” Freddy dug into his chest before finally pulling out what Takumi described. “This will definitely leave a few extra holes in your opponents.” Freddy wiggled his brows at the man before admiring his own handiwork. “Certainly one of my favorites. Want to hold this bad boy?”

Wes tilts his head slightly, frowning in annoyance from the blacksmith’s obvious innuendos.

“If it’s someone you mutually like, I should hope those holes are being filled. No need to let everything spill out.” Oh yes. He’ll go innuendo for innuendo with him.

Takumi accepts the sword and carefully lifts and maneuvers it, checking its balance and action. It’s not exactly what he’s used to, but it’s not like he’d be able to find a traditional Japanese sword in a place like this. “Just for shits and giggles, what else do you have?” He asks as he hands the sword back over.

I did a Hawkeye makeup collab with the wonderful @thefalconsam and @lady-thor-foster! 

I was inspired by Fraction’s version of Clint (because we only stan the best in this house). Basically Clint is a cohesive mess and so is this makeup.

“Hmmm, so the Gut Buster. Wes tilts his head slightly, frowning in annoyance from the blacksmith’s obvious innuendos.

“Ooo I know the perfect match for you. The Thunder fist would suit a gentleman like you.” Ol’ Freddy winked at Takumi before digging into his chest to pull out a rather large sword. The sword was thick and sharp and the scrawny man apparently had no trouble carrying it. 

“Will this do for you? It’s a bit pricey but I’m sure a warrior such as you could handle it.”

“Mmmm. Too big. Set it aside please.” Takumi made a waving motion with his hand, then showed the weapons dealer the exact length he wanted. “Elbow to the tips of my middle finger, that’s about the length of the blade I’m looking for.” It’s not as though he had any trouble lifting a big sword, but the sword his uncle had crafted specifically for him was an uchigatana, a very light short sword made for close combat on foot. The way it was made also meant it had a different style of fighting and could be drawn, strike, and sheathed in the same movement.
