Detachment...

Detachment is not inherently a Jedi trait. It can serve a Sith well in their quest for power. Detachment offers relief from the weight of toxicity that we collect and allow to weigh us down as we journey through our day to day life. To live light is to live free. However, one must never allow detachment to overshadow ones passion to persevere. It is perfectly acceptable, even necessary to desire the better things in life. Desire creates motivation and when combined with dedicated passion they can lead to a world of endless possibilities. Through detachment you avoid falling victim to your attachments. Attachments are often temporary and can be lost at any moment. You must be able to shed the unnecessary weight of attachments when the situation calls for it as this may someday prove essential to your survival.

Darkness within

We all have darkness within us. Some more than others. But it is not the darkness we harbor that dictates who we are or who we will be. It is what we do with this darkness that truly defines us. If allowed to grow unchecked and unrefined, darkness swiftly consumes and erodes the unprepared. You must learn to own your darkness. Master it and use it to your will. Hone your darkness, learn to focus it into fuel and you will then hold the key to endless power.

I am Sith...

I've always felt drawn to darkness. It seemed to call to me, always enticing me, luring me in. This call was just too loud and too powerful to ignore. But I did not know what to make of this uncanny attraction to the darkness. It was not until I encountered the code of the Sith that I started to understand. I could finally see the reality of my nature. And, since that day my fascination and passion for the Sith way has grown ever stronger. The pain and darkness that had consumed me for so long finally gained purpose and focus, both now repurposed to serve my will. They became the embers that ignited the fires of my passion. I now know the only true path to freedom lies within the ways of the Sith. And, I know that I can never be anything less than Sith, for this is my one true calling. As such, I claim the name Darth Malumus, a Dark Lord of the Sith.
