But some artists who draw Sirius with tattoos don't understand how tattoos work or actually look like in person.

Like it is not just a drawing on your skin, unless the tattoo is fresh fresh fresh, it will not be fine line

Tattoos blow out over time, a fine line tattoo a year out healed will be thick and not as detailed. Like an almost slightly blurry version of the original tattoo.

Putting fine lined art all over Sirius doesn't look like he is tattooed, it makes it look like he was just drawn on in pen which I don't think is what the artist is trying for.

This is just a tip. I'm not much of an artist and I don't post my art on here but I am very tattooed so I thought I would throw it out there.

Tbh, in my head canon, Sirius is bi and is either a top or a power bottom.

I'm full on board for femme Sirius, like please the man is beautiful but making him like this swooning bottom all the time when he was the one making people swoon

Lady killer Sirius will always be my favorite and I want him to make whoever he is romancing weak in the actual knees

Okay yes but no. I feel like both are good, depending on the time period of the fanfic. Like teenage Sirius was a drama queen and grown Sirius is just actually crazed. I love all renditions of him though

I think so many people in the fandom fail to grasp the difference between "flair for the dramatic" and "being dramatic," and that's how we got Sirius Black, the drama queen (TM) who cries when he chips his nail polish or because Regulus is taller than him (WTF???) instead of Sirius Black, the unhinged lunatic who broke into the Gryffindor dormitory on the anniversary of his best friend's death, laughing maniacally and brandishing a twelve-inch blade with the sole purpose of committing the murder he was imprisoned for.

Then down the line Dorcas makes her way into the Marauders and Valkyries and Regulus realizes that Sirius can have exceptions, he was just never good enough to be one
