sometimes I start thinking about ben thatcher and how he is the most fearless and effortlessly cool living god of a human who doesn’t seem to walk through life, but race through it, smiling so wide his eyes go crinkly and leaping into crowds like there’s nothing that could possibly go wrong, and how he’s probably the sort of friend who’d force you to down a further three shots of tequila before promptly holding your hair back in the toilets, and stroking your back until you feel okay

and then I think about the fact that this man has so many puns in his beautiful brain that as soon as he starts talking you can’t help but laugh, and how he doesn’t speak all that much but when he does it’s freaking hilarious and just makes you feel perfectly at ease, even just watching him through a screen, like a human medicine, like all he wants is for you to be happy

I think about how he seems to follow music everywhere, and music seems to follow him too - if there’s a song, he’ll love it - how important it is to him, and how it makes me want to listen to every album in the world, to appreciate every note, every word, and make him a thousand playlists which perfectly encapsulate a thousand feelings

and I don’t know, I guess I just like thinking about the fact that this man is so kind, so good, so pure and so sweet, and how he puts so much work and effort into everything he does, and ya know when I think about that, I just get super emotional. because god, ben thatcher is a LEGEND. and he deserves all the love in the planet.
