ok i’m about to say something really stupid like this is just the bare minimum of being a good actor Having said that i love it when an actor plays different characters who would just absolutely hate each other if they were real like benji kaplan would have the craziest one sided beef you could ever imagine with roman roy rest assured benji would go for roman specifically when it came time to eat the rich

sarah snook, kieran culkin, and jeremy strong all having a 2024 film that is doing well (memoir of a snail, a real pain, the apprentice) can be something soooooo satisfying

Ok, so in the original Bram Stoker novel, sunlight is not lethal to Dracula. He just loses most of his powers. I'm bringing this up cuz I want a horror comedy where the hero, sensing dawn, tears off the curtains as a last-ditch effort only to have the vampire go "Aw shit, there goes most of my fancy powers. Guess I'll have to beat your ass the old-fashioned way" then proceeds to just deck the hero cuz a vampire at half-strength is still a fucking vampire.

me when a book has either a fake historical figure or a fictional celebrity and the narrative engages with this conceit by including fake nonfiction documents about them in the story
