Hey,
Can I request Leah trying to make reader an arsenal fan even though they go for another club please.
club loyalty ─── leah w.
masterlist.
"barça forever."
content warning: fluff, leah being a pain in the arse.
Club loyalty ran deep for you. Even before you played for Barça, you were still their number-one fan and always rooted for them.
When you joined the club, that simply didn’t change. Your loyalty ran deep and no one could change that.
Not even your nagging girlfriend,
Leah Williamson, the biggest pain in your ass, but also the love of your life.
Playing for different clubs was rough, the long distance was rough, so when it was the offseason and you two got time together it was incredibly special. Even if Leah spent that time attempting to convert you to be an Arsenal fan.
You two were sitting on the couch, watching a movie together. Cuddled up next to her, she quietly talked over the movie, still trying to convince you to go full arsenal.
“Cmon babeeeeee, you’d look so good in the kit.” She whined, pointing her phone towards your face so she could swipe through the countless photos of her kits that she had saved on her phone.
“Hell would have to freeze over before I wore an Arsenal kit, bebè.” You said softly, nuzzling into the sweater that she wore.
She sighed dramatically, throwing her head back. She truly was a pain in the arse sometimes.
It was silence for a bit longer, but you knew that wasn’t the end of it. She was never silent for this long, especially when she was finding joy in bothering you, so you knew she was thinking of something.
“Are you sureeeee… I could give you one of my extra ones.” She wiggled her eyebrows, nudging you gently.
“If I was on my deathbed and you put me in an Arsenal kit, I would come back to life simply to take it off and burn it. Don’t test me, Williamson.”
“But I’m on Arsenal! You gotta do it for me, babe!” She argued back.
“You’re the only reason I’d ever be an Arsenal fan.” You said, smiling at the fact that made her face light up.
“So you are an Arsenal fan then?” She smirked.
“Oh shut up. Barça forever.” You rolled your eyes at her.

The restaurant is beautiful, with low lighting, flickering candles, and soft music drifting from speakers tucked in the corners. You know Leah wanted tonight to feel special. She’d spent the last few days excitedly planning, keeping the details a secret. And you’d felt her excitement too—until you actually stepped inside.
Now, seated across from her, you can feel your pulse quickening in a way that has nothing to do with anticipation. The hum of voices, the clinking of silverware, the constant movement all around you—it feels like the walls are slowly pressing in, making it hard to concentrate on the menu or on anything at in all honestly. You attempt to meet Leah’s gaze, forcing a smile, but your hands are trembling slightly, and you’re sure she’s noticed.
“Hey,” Leah says gently, her eyes softening as she reaches across the table for your hand. She gives it a reassuring squeeze, her thumb rubbing circles against your skin in a way that usually calms you. “You good?”
The words catch in your throat. You don’t want to disappoint her, not when she’s gone to so much effort. You know how much this evening means to her, and you don’t want to ruin it. But every part of you wants to leave, to escape the noise and the lights and be somewhere quieter.
Leah watches you closely, her expression shifting as she seems to read the discomfort on your face. Her hand tightens around yours, and her smile turns soft, understanding. “You know what,” she says, almost as if she’s talking to herself, “I really can’t stop thinking about those new pyjamas we bought, the really soft and warm ones, and sitting by the fire place? do you mind if we go back home?”
You blink, taken aback. She’s suggesting exactly what you want—without you even having to ask. Relief floods over you so quickly it’s almost overwhelming, and you nod, unable to speak past the lump in your throat.
Leah smiles, her eyes warm, and she waves over the waiter to ask if they can pack everything up to go. Within minutes, you’re walking back out into the cool night air, her arm looped through yours. As you breathe in the quiet of the night, you feel the tension in your body finally beginning to ease. Leah’s hand squeezes yours gently, and she glances over at you with a reassuring smile.
Back at home, Leah quickly lights the fireplace and puts on one of your favorite playlists, turning the volume down low. She comes over with the takeout bags, setting everything up on the coffee table. The flickering glow of the fire casts warm shadows across the room, and you can already feel your muscles relax as the heat starts to fill the room. You settle down onto the couch, pulling a soft blanket over your lap, and Leah sits beside you, her arm wrapping around your shoulders.
She nudges a takeout container towards you, grinning as she unwraps her own. “See? Much better,” she murmurs, leaning over to press a gentle kiss to your temple. “No crowds, no noise—just us.”
You nod, feeling the weight lift a little more with every second in her presence. “It is really really nice,” you admit, your voice barely above a whisper.
The two of you eat in comfortable silence, occasionally laughing over shared bites or nudging each other to try something new. There’s no pressure, no rush—just the simple joy of being together. And as the fire crackles softly beside you, you realize you’ve never felt so at ease.
After dinner, Leah suggests making hot chocolate, and you watch as she disappears into the kitchen, humming softly. When she returns, she’s carrying two steaming mugs, the tops piled high with whipped cream and marshmallows. She hands you one, settling back onto the couch beside you, her fingers lacing through yours.
“You know,” she says, her voice soft, “I don’t ever want you to feel like you have to hide how you’re feeling. If something’s too much, you can tell me. I’m here for you, I would genuinely do anything in the world if it meant you were happy and comfortable”
You take a shaky breath, her words filling you with a warmth that has nothing to do with the fire or the hot chocolate. “Sometimes… it’s just kinda hard to say it out loud,” you admit, your gaze fixed on the marshmallows melting in your mug. “I don’t want to let you down.”
Leah tilts her head, giving you a small, understanding smile. “You could never let me down,” she whispers, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “Your comfort is more important to me than any silly dinner reservation, and in my opinion everyone there seemed too posh and stuck up for my liking”
You look up, meeting her gaze, and your heart swells at the sincerity in her eyes. She means it. She’s always been patient with you, understanding in a way that makes you feel like you’re finally seen. And sitting here, wrapped up together with the night stretching peacefully ahead, you realize just how deeply you love her.
As the fire begins to die down, Leah pulls you closer, tucking you into her side, your head resting on her shoulder. You feel her hand gently rubbing your arm, a steady, soothing motion that slowly lulls you into a state of contentment. The world outside feels far away, and all that matters is this moment—this quiet, perfect moment with her.
“Thank you,” you murmur, your voice barely above a whisper.
“For what?” she asks, her voice equally soft.
“For… knowing me. For understanding me.”
Leah presses a kiss to the top of your head, her fingers still tracing gentle circles against your arm. “I’m just lucky I get to love you,” she says, her words a quiet promise. “And I’ll always be here for you, okay? No matter what.”
You close your eyes, letting her words wrap around you like a blanket. In her arms, with the soft glow of the fire casting warmth over the room, you feel a peace you’ve never known before. And as you drift off in her embrace, you know, without a doubt, that this is exactly where you belong.

the small things ─── ingrid e.
masterlist.
the three times you wanted to kiss ingrid, and the one time you did.
content warnings: n/a
The first time you wanted to kiss Ingrid Engen:
You were always scared of Ingrid Engen. From the first look, she was certainly the mean girl type. But once you had joined her club, you had realized that was anything but the case. She specifically took a love to you, always doing the small things for you.
She would put her hand on the small of your back to guide you through a crowd or give you her jacket if you complained that it was cold, even if that meant she would be cold. All things that made you feel special and seen. The way she talked to you was so gentle and kind, never a bit of venom in her tone.
But this time, it was different. You had been over to Ingrid’s place plenty of times before, often even spending the night. And sure, she’s cooked you dinner and did all sorts of sweet things for you, but nothing like tonight.
When you knocked on the door, it was like any other night. You were welcomed into her home and settled down on the couch with her to watch a show.
You two enjoyed a meal and settled into small talk. Not having anything to drink, you found yourself thirsty.
“I’ll be right back, I’m gonna get a water.” You excused yourself, making your way to her kitchen.
As you opened her fridge to get the water out, you heard her voice call out, “I bought those drinks you liked! They’re in the door!” She called.
Your heart fluttered. Her simple gesture of purchasing something she knew you liked whenever you came over made your day. It was nothing really, something anybody would do. But from Ingrid, it was different, it was something more heartfelt.
And in that moment, all you wanted to do was run into the other room and kiss her.
The second time you wanted to kiss Ingrid Engen:
The second time you wanted to kiss Ingrid was only weeks later. You two were spending time in the city, simply walking around with each other checking out shops and enjoying each other’s presence. You two had been in several different stores, Ingrid carrying around several bags in her hands.
“We should get coffee!” She exclaimed, seeing a cute bakery coming up in her vision. You grinned and followed her lead, entering the small bakery. The wonderful scent of baked goods and freshly brewed coffee invaded your senses and gave you a sense of comfort.
You ordered a matcha latte and Ingrid ordered a caramel latte. After receiving your coffees you two sat down at a table outside and sipped your beverages in silence. You two talked a little bit, but you mostly spent your time admiring the footballer’s beauty. The way her green eyes contrasted with the dark locks that cascaded over her face made your heart flutter.
After your drinks, you guys ended up at a small candle shop. Taking time to smell each one and make comments. Ingrid had picked up a pretty purple candle, gently removing the top to take in the scent. She nodded, clearly enjoying it. “Mmm, I like this one.” She grinned.
“Yeah? Whats it smell like?” You asked, not noticing how she was staring at you with the utmost love in her eyes.
“Your perfume.” She says calmly, pointing it towards you so you can smell it as well.
Your heart skipped a beat. She said it in such a calm and sweet way as if she wasn’t thinking too much about it at all. You stuttered through your words, struggling to control the heat in your cheeks and how your stomach fluttered.
She could tell that you were struggling, grinning wide at your reaction.
And in that moment, all you wanted to do was kiss Ingrid Engen.
The third time you wanted to kiss Ingrid Engen:
Ingrid was pretty. You knew it, she knew, everybody around her knew it. It wasn’t a secret that she had women and men throwing themselves at her all the time, but she always brushed them off. You always had wished you were one of those women throwing themselves at her, and to be fair, you practically were.
You couldn’t count the number of times she had caught you staring, it wasn’t your fault, she was just gorgeous. Especially gorgeous when she stood behind you with her hands around your waist, guiding your hands cooking.
It had become a weekly tradition to come over to Ingrid’s place and cook. She loved to teach you different dishes and how to make them. Tonight, she wanted to help you make a new dish, something you had never made before. You were competent enough to cut veggies by yourself, but that didn’t stop Ingrid from standing behind you, her hands over yours, guiding you.
It was intimate.
“You’re doing so good,” She mumbled into your shoulder where her head rested comfortably.
You didn’t respond, too concerned with not making a fool of yourself. You swallowed, feeling her hands run up and down your forearms. You were beginning to doubt your belief that she would never be into you either.
At that moment, all you wanted to do was turn around and kiss her, show her how much you actually wanted her.
The one time you did kiss Ingrid Engen:
Now that you had confirmation that your silly crush on Ingrid was reciprocated, it was time to make a plan. You two had made dinner plans tonight, nothing too fancy, an Italian place you two visited often. And you knew, you were kissing her tonight.
You had shown up earlier than her, finding your table and nervously fidgeting with your fingers while you ran through every possible situation that could happen tonight.
Maybe Ingrid really wasn’t into you like that and you were delusional. Maybe this was going to go horribly and you two would never talk again. You have had your heart broken so many times before, you really didn’t want to lose Ingrid, one of your best friends.
“Earth to y/n?” You heard the unmistakable accident of your ‘date’ for the evening. Snapping out of your thoughts, you looked up and saw Ingrid.
She was drop-dead gorgeous.
Her hair flowed beautifully as always, it went great with the black dress that hugged her body perfectly.
“You’re gorgeous.” You smiled, pushing the chair across from you out with your foot, allowing her to sit down.
“You are too, hun.” She grinned, the pet name easily falling from her lips.
You blushed at that and turned your head away, a smile plastered across your face.
“How has everything been?” Ingrid asked, moving the conversation forward.
The conversation flowed well, talking about your days and upcoming things. You two had been friends forever and still had managed to never run out of things to talk about. She truly was your best friend. Dinner was ordered and you two ate in peace, laughing with each other.
Her laugh always made butterflies burst in your stomach, your heart being won over and warmed all over again.
Once the dinner was paid for and everything was done with, you walked out with her.
Under a nearby streetlight, you stood in front of her, staring into her eyes and her hands in yours.
“Can I kiss you?” You asked softly.
A blush spread over her face and that toothy grin came out. “Took you long enough.” She mumbled before leaning in.
Your lips smashed together and it was like fireworks went off, her lips were soft and the way her hand cupped your face made you feel so safe.
This was everything you were dreaming of.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━♥♠♥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The crisp air of Shenley lites a whispered chill to cover you as you step out of the taxi. You pay the driver, wishing him a good day as you collect your bags from the cab. A deep breath makes its way from your chest and out your lips, gathering your bearings as you finally start to make your way inside. This is going to be a fresh start in a place no one knows you– exactly what you need. No expectations to meet or lingering gazes on and off the pitch. No drama or gossip floating around or eating lunch by yourself. Things are going to be different here.
You take in the scenery as you approach the Sobha Realty Training Centre, your new place of employment. The building feels like it’s going to swallow you, the tall white walls reminding you of the hospital as a familiar churn starts to turn in your stomach.
Breathe. Everything is going to be fine.
Your hand comes up to open the door, but it’s pulled from your grasp. You look up, eyes meeting a warm smile and kind eyes. You relax at her appearance, and even more at her friendly approach, “Hi, I’m Alessia! You must be Y/N, I assume?”
You find yourself mirroring her smile, a hand coming out to shake hers. “Yes, it’s lovely to meet you, Alessia! Sorry I’m late– I got lost and then I just ended up taking a taxi….London is a lot bigger than I expected…” you trail off as you realize you're rambling. Embarrassment sinking in as you look down to the floor.
“You’re totally fine! I think we all got lost on our first day, haha. That’s why I’m here to show you around, this place is huge when you don’t know it. Now follow me, new girl!” and just like that, she’s showing you everywhere possible. She shows you the cafeteria, weight rooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, and just about every tiny place to hide if you need a moment to yourself.
“I don’t mean to sound rude– but shouldn’t you be out on the field training with the others? Showing me around can’t possibly be more important with the Euro Finals coming up,” you say as you arrange your med bag for practice. The rest of your things are now stored in your brand new Arsenal locker you were shown, your name enraged into the gold plate marking your future. She laughs at that, pointing down towards her ankle that you now see is wrapped up. “Sprained it a week ago, so i’m benched. Swelling is still up so Coach won’t let me play on it yet, not even at practice.”
A laugh now comes out of you at her frustrated tone near the end. “Well, I have to agree. Until the swelling and all pain is gone you need to let it properly heal. We don’t need you hurting it worse!”
You feel a shove to your shoulder at that, zipping up your pack as you turn towards her now.
“Spoken like the true new head AT! See you're falling into place here already,” You give a shove back to her shoulder. Careful to do it lightly and not push her off balance with her injury. “Ready to meet the girls?”
You let out a sigh before nodding your head, “If they're all as nice as you I think I’ll be just fine.” And then you two are off, Alessia leading the way to your new team. You can feel your hands sweating as you get closer to the field in sight. All the girls training, the coaches, the other medical trainers under your watch…it’s all facing you at once as the past leaves your mind step by step. Like the shedding of skin on a snake, you're letting your anxieties fall from you as your passion for the job kicks back in. Like a flicker of flame– just waiting to ignite higher.
Your confidence is gaining with every blade of grass that passes beneath your feet. You know you're good at this. Hell you’re fucking amazing at this. Not many trainers could switch clubs– let alone countries for said club, in the middle of a season and still be Head AT…but you are that good. No matter what might’ve happened in Barcelona, you’re going to make sure you thrive here in London.
Well that is until your eyes meet hers. It’s like the wind gets knocked out of your chest– hers quite literally. The blonde’s eyes stay on yours, a furrowed brow taking over her face as she keeps running blind. Until she smacks face first into the goal post at full force, bright hair tumbling to the ground in a loud, harsh collapse. Your feet work faster than your brain, running over and immediately separating her from the net. You’re assessing her body, eyes frantically searching for any blood, bruises, cuts, or abnormalities. Your hands come to her ankles, pressing down as you look up at her face. “Does anything hurt? Stay lying down right now, your adrenaline might be blocking it out!”
“I'm Leah!” It’s rushed out, loud and with a voice crack. Her wide eyes staring up at you as she snaps a hand over her mouth afterwards.
If her teammates weren’t laughing before– they definitely are now.
A blush overtakes your cheeks as you put an arm around her waist, hoisting her to stand up with you. She throws one of hers around your shoulders as she regains her balance. “I’m taking her to the Med Room! Want to be sure she doesn’t have a concussion!”
You’re practically dragging her at this point, racing to get somewhere private because what in the actual fuck. "I'm Leah," She repeats her words from the field. "Yeah, I fucking know that!" you snap lightly on her. Mind still racing as you drag her down the building for a more private place to fully speak without worry. There is no way this is happening! Not to you– NOT NOW!! You push the Med Room door open with your back, and sit Leah up on the bed as you finally create some distance between you two. An accusing finger launching itself towards her as you move back to the middle of the room, “SINCE WHEN DO YOU PLAY FOOTBALL?”
“Nice to see you again, too, darling,” She’s smiling at you. That same one that got you hooked in Ibiza and agreeing to spend three weeks with a stranger. You almost get lost in it again– but you start shaking your head. “Oh no! No, no, no– don’t you darling me right now! How could you not tell me your-” your hand comes to pull at the band around her arm, “CAPTAIN! Of one of the best teams in all of Europe? And after spending all that time alone together, really?”
“First of all, we are not one of, we are the best in the world– thank you. Second of all, I don’t remember us talking much when we were together, if I can be honest. My mind tends to remember the more important details,” she licks her lips as she says it, eyes racking over your body as she recalls the memories to her mind. “And third of all, I don’t exactly remember you telling me you’re the highest paid AT in the sports field, so I guess we both kept some secrets. Huh, darling?”
“You are insufferable," you say as you take out your tiny flashlight, checking the reflexes of her pupils with it.
“Oh but that’s not what you were saying during those few weeks we spent together.”
“Leah!” Your face scrunches up as your fists ball up at your sides. Giving her the best glare you can muster up.
“Y/N! Don’t do your face like that– it’ll get stuck,” a laugh breaks out of her mouth as she says it. Poking at your face to relax your muscles there.
“Can you be serious for like two seconds, this is bad!” You rub your hands down your face. Trying to relieve the headache starting to form between your eyes.
"Oh calm down, would you! No one knows, okay? I didn't tell anyone about our time together. I swear!" She sticks her pinky out towards you, and you somehow find yourself laughing back this time as you extend your own to interlock with hers. It's then you know you've messed up. Her skin lights yours up the same way it did a year ago— you two hidden away on the tropical Spanish paradise. Days were spent exploring the island and endless nights spent exploring each other's bodies.
You don't even notice how close you two have drifted until her thighs are closing in around your middle, trapping you against the medical bed and her upper body. Your face flushes as you freeze in place, brain already too fuzzy for you to register that you should pull away. You can’t stop thinking back now– flashes of memories whizzing by in your head as you zone out, eyes lingering on her lips subconsciously. She must think that’s an invitation, because after a few seconds one of her hands comes to the back of your neck, pulling you into a searing kiss. You kiss her back at first, chasing the spark that ignites from her lips.
But then you remember where you are, and more importantly why you are even here. You got to pull away, hands coming up to her chest to push and create some space. She doesn’t budge though, a tiny moan slipping from your lips as you remember the depths of her strength. She smiles into the kiss at that, and you take the opportunity to breathe the words out against her lips. “Le-Leah we shouldn’t be d-doing this. We c-can’t…”
Her other hand tickles the waistband of your shorts, a light chuckle vibrating her chest as she pulls away to look you in the eyes. “I’ll stop if you really want me to, but I think we both know you want this more than me. Don’t you, darling? Otherwise you wouldn’t be humping the edge of the bed like a bitch in heat.”
You look down, not even realizing how you'd started rubbing your covered cunt against the medical bed. Your hips stutter to a stop as you try to back away from the cot, embarrassment filling your body at her catching you red handed. A finger lifts your chin up as her eyes lock to yours, a chill running down your spine as you cling to her every move. She runs her hand still sitting at your waist down to your hip, slipping under your shorts as goosebumps break out across your skin from her touch. “Don’t get shy on me, now. Not after I’ve seen you cum from grinding on a shoe.”
“Okay! Don’t act like you didn’t tell me to do it– no DEMAND it!” you move closer, pointing your finger into her chest now as you argue the claim.
“Mhm you’re right, Y/N…but you’re the one that did it. Got down on your knees,” she grips the hair at the back of your neck as she yanks your head back. “And rubbed your slutty pussy all over my Louboutins until you ruined them with your cum.” She brings her face down closer to yours, “Now open your fucking mouth.”
You do as she says, and you're met with a glob of her spit landing on your tongue. You swallow it before she even has to tell you, groaning out as you thank her for giving it to you. Her hand on your hip starts slipping around to your front after she feels you grinding forward again, giving you her fingers instead of the small spring mattress. You moan out as soon as they glide across your clit, an electric feeling breaking out across your body. You know this is wrong, and you’ll definitely chastise yourself later…but until then you’re gonna beg her to fuck you.
“Please give me your f-fingers! W-wanna cum for you, Le!” The distantly familiar nickname falls from your lips effortlessly and it fuels a fire inside Leah’s chest. She slides her hand farther into your shorts, instantly slipping two fingers inside of you at the start. Her palm is fitting your clit perfectly, and after a few minutes you can hear the squelching of your pussy from underneath your shorts. You can feel her curling, scissoring, and twisting the fingers inside of your cunt. Your legs are about to shake as you feel your orgasm start to build, moans increasing as your chest rises and falls faster. You can’t focus on anything other than Leah. That’s all your mind can think of: Leah, Leah, Leah…
Thank god she’s paying attention though. Because next thing you know she’s pulling her hand out of your shorts and pushing you back away from her so hard you fall on your ass. You let out a yell of shock as you go tumbling backwards, landing with a pretty loud thud onto the cold tile floor.
Before you can scream at her to explain what the fuck her problem is– the door is swinging open. Alessia barging in as she runs over to Leah. Stopping in her tracks as she almost topples over you. She comes to stop in a screeching halt, sticking a hand out to help you up. “What the hell are you doing on the floor?” She says as she drops your hand once you're back standing. “Well if you must know, Leah’s being stubborn and wouldn’t let me sit on the med bed with her because I’m benching her for practice until she gets her head checked by a CT scan.”
“YOU'RE BLOODY WHAT?” She screeches out at the realization.
“See she can’t even remember I already told her that! Definitely needs a ct,” you know you’re lying through your teeth…but fucking with Leah is too fun. No way you were telling her she’s benched when she had you on the verge of the first orgasm you’ve had…well, since the last time you saw her.
“What the hell even happened out there, Leah?” Alessia asks, a laugh busting out of her chest as she recalls the captain’s wipe out.
“I was lost in my head and just..oh god I’m never living this one down am I?”
“Oh god no! You should’ve heard the noise you made when you hit the pole– I've never heard that come out of a human being before, or any living thing for that matter!” She has tears welling up in her eyes now as she recalls the events.
You sneak out as the two blonde’s get lost in their laughs and conversation. The locker room is empty as you collect your things, humming a song under your breath as you make quick work of packing up. You’re walking out to the parking lot when you finally let yourself think of what just happened, fingers coming up to brush against your lips. You find yourself smiling, wiping it off your face when you notice. No, Y/N. Stay professional. This. cannot. happen again. Push it down.
You pull out your phone to order a new cab before a familiar voice grabs your attention. “I’m afraid there aren’t many cabs on this side of town at this time of night. I can give you a ride though. Only if you want, of course…But such a gorgeous girl as yourself? You really shouldn’t be walking home alone.”
You turn, forgetting the words you told yourself not even 5 minutes ago. Nodding your head before you fully process the request. You’re going to be alone in a confined space with her? FUCK. You folded quicker than a lawn chair for the blonde footballer not even 10 full minutes ago….Lord give you strength for this 20 minute drive.
She opens the door for you, holding an intense eye contact as she closes it as well. Her car smells like the leather seats and the piney notes of her perfume. A perfect mix that has you rubbing your thighs together, trying to dull the ache she never got to quell. She climbs into the drivers seat, setting up her aux before she's handing you her phone open onto her maps app.
You quickly type in your new address before the navigation is breaking through the speakers and leading you to your destination. The ride isn't awkward, filled with easily flowing conversation. You're so lost in it you don't even notice you've made it to your flat. Not until the gps is yelling out "Arrived at Destination."
You try to hide your disappointment as you grab your bags, saying a thank you as soon many questions hang in the air between you two. "Can I walk you up? Promise I won't make a move, just want to make sure you get inside okay." She throws her hands up in a defensive mode.
"Yeah, I'd like that," you push down the large part of your brain that is telling you to stop this dynamic. To kill it before it can manifest…but you don't listen to it. You let her take your hand as she walks you into your buildings elevator, and you let her kiss you soft and slow as the floors ding past you both. It's different from any kiss you've shared before, and that kind of scares you.
It scares you even more at your door, where she tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear and kisses you like that again. She's kissing you like she has something to prove…you're not quite sure what that is just yet…but you sure as hell want to find out. The first time Leah blew into your life, it was at a time of transformation. It was brief but truly wonderful, and now the universe is sitting her right in fucking front of you for a second time.
She's the first one to pull away from your lips this time. A smile pulling at her lips as she ducks back in to steal one more peck, and then she's backing away slowly. Her hands pulling yours with hers as she tries to leave you as slowly as possible. "Goodnight, Y/N."
You can't help the smile you break out into at the gesture, looking down as you blush slightly from the innocent statement. She's playing with your fingers now, and you're trying to memorize hers for the foreseeable future. "Goodnight, Le. And thank you for today. Always the gentleman…when you want to be."
She pushes your shoulder at that, "Oi! I'm always a gent!"
You blush as you think more about the Ibiza trip, "I would beg to differ."
She genuinely laughs at that, picking your hand up to her mouth to leave a kiss on your knuckles. You say goodnight to each other one last time before she leaves down the hall, watching her disappear into the elevator before you go inside your apartment. You both don't know it yet, but you end up finding the same resolution to your problems tonight.
As you both lay awake drowning in endless thoughts of each other, you can't help but slip a hand into your shorts. You're rubbing at your over sensitive clit, imagining it's Leah as you work yourself up. You haven't had time to buy any toys since you moved here, but you don't need them right now. Not when she's got you so wound up from barely any touch.
Meanwhile the blonde captain is slipping her trusty vibrator between her legs to stimulate her clit, the pretty pictures she has of you from Ibiza currently being viewed in her hand. From the one of you being blind folded in her hotel bed to the one of you bent over the railing of her private yacht— she can't stop the new filthy images of you from popping into her head. She's got to have you again, and not just for sex this time.
Leah hasn't stopped thinking of you since the trip, mind clouded with day dreams of you two creating a life together. She's been laughing it off, thinking she's delusional because she'll never see you again…but that disappears when you come waltzing back into her life. She knows now she can't waste this second chance. No matter how long or what all it takes: Leah Williamson is going to make you her girl.

"Oh my god if you buy one more plush to occupy my spot on the bed i'm kicking you out to sleep on the couch."
the collection II l.williamson
"babe!" you faintly heard your girlfriend call from downstairs, attention diverted from the laptop in front of you in the home office you and leah had turned your second bedroom into.
"yeah?" you called back, unable to hear her response. "babe? oi did you hear me?" leah yelled again as you sighed, closing your laptop and pushing away from the desk.
"lee, baby we've discussed this so many times that i cannot hear you unless you're in the same room or not-" you began to tell her off as you jogged downstairs but stopped as you saw the likely reason for her yelling.
"my package!" you squealed happily, almost bowling leah to the floor with the speed in which you zoomed past her and plucked the box from her hands, the blonde scoffing as you sat down on the edge of the sofa.
"this is what i was yelling about." you made an indignant noise as before you could even rip the box open leah appeared in front of you and snatched it from your hands, promptly pushing you back down onto the couch with her foot to your chest as you tried to stand.
"leah!" you huffed, smacking her sock covered foot away with a grimance as she tucked the box under her arm. "you, my girl, have a problem." leah began sternly, finger wagging at you as your eyes rolled.
"oh and do tell what is this so called problem i have?" you sighed, settling back into the couch with arms crossed and an eyebrow cocked in challenge toward the defender in front of you.
"you're addicted to online shopping." leah claimed boldly as you made a noise somewhere between a scoff and a choke as you shook your head. "i am not! leah this is ridiculous, give me my package." you demanded, wiggling your fingers at her expectantly as she firmly shook her head.
"this, is the fifth box to arrive on the doorstep addressed to you this week, and thats just whats arrived while i've been at home!" leah warned raising an eyebrow right back at you as you both stared one another down, unwavering.
"it is not the-" you were silenced by a fierce look from your girlfriend who suddenly went marching out of the room as you hurried to follow her, fingers itching to get a hand back on your package still tucked away in her arms.
"leah where on earth are we going?" you groaned in annoyance as again you tried to reach for the box and she darted out of your reach, marching through the house and right out the back doors as you sighed heavily and followed.
"exhibit a!" the english woman announced, having lead you around the side of the house and gesturing wildly to the near overflowing recycling bin hidden from public view.
it was due to go out tomorrow night as you made a mental note to remember to do that since leah was renowned for forgetting which is how the bin had ended up so full in the first place.
"what are you on about williamson?" you sighed deeply, crossing your arms and jutting your hip out to the side as you stared her down with pursed lips.
"evidence babe, cold hard undeniable evidence." leah held up a finger as if to pause whatever strange investigation she seemed to think was going on.
you groaned quietly as she placed your package down on the pavers, behind her and still out of your reach as, dramatically, she flung open the lid of the recycling bin and gave you an accusatory look.
"lee this is ridiculous just give me my package and-" "see!" leah interrupted, grabbing out an amazon box from the win and waving it about.
"a box? groundbreaking investigatory skills babe, consider me thoroughly impressed!" you clapped slowly, voice dripping with sarcasm as leahs eyes narrowed.
"you will see, exhibit b, the name on said box!" leah spun it around and tapped the label aggressively as you snickered and she glanced down, quickly flipping it around the right way and repeating the action.
"you mean to tell me a box was delivered to our home addressed to someone who lives here? scandalous!" you gasped, voice still alight with sarcasm as leah rolled her eyes and tossed the box onto the ground.
"exhibit c, d, e, f, g-" leah listed off, grabbing boxes of various shapes and sizes out of the bin, flashing your name on each one and tossing them into the growing pile on the ground as you watched on unamused.
"okay yeah leah alright you've made your point!" you finally snapped, stepping forward and promptly slamming the recycling bin lid closed, narrowly missing your girlfriends fingers as she whistled.
"touchy at the truth are we babe? ready to admit you've got a problem?" leah grinned happily as you shook your head and stepped forward.
"okay love you were right. i do have a problem-" you started with a small pout, hands coming to rest on leahs hips as she nodded in agreement. "-and that would be you." you promptly pushed her out of the way, snatching your package off the ground and striding away.
"don't forget to put those boxes back in the bin williamson!" you yelled over your shoulder, hurrying inside and ignoring the swearing and grumbling of the disgruntled blonde you left behind as you rummaged through the drawers for some scissors.
slicing down the tape you wrestled with the box for a moment before the flaps opened and you gasped, clapping happily and pulling its contents out, holding it at arms length with delight written clear on your face.
"oh you are fucking joking me! another one?" leah appeared at the back door, clearly nowhere near as impressed with your latest purchase as you were as you ignored her.
"you have about ten of those already! you do have a fucking shopping problem, i'm blocking your cards." leah huffed, attempting to snatch the plush pumpkin from your grip as you held it protectively to your chest.
"i do not! honestly and you say i'm dramatic leah?" you scoffed with a roll of your eyes. "and good luck considering i'm the one who deals with our finances." you blew her a kiss and ducked past her, only as you did she managed a hand on your latest stuffed friend and snatched it from you.
"leah! give it back-" you grunted, trying to wrestle it back but it was a fruitless task as she easily held you off with her other hand. "come." the defender barked, pushing you away again and headed for the bedroom as you scrambled to follow.
"exhibit...whatever bloody letter i was up to." leah waved it off, again shoving you away as you reached for the pumpkin she had in her grip. "babe, look! one, two, three, four, five, six-" your girlfriend began to count the series of jellycats sat on the bed.
"you have a problem!" leah poked at your chest as your eyes rolled and you mocked her under your breath. "say it, go on then." the girl demanded clapping expectantly as she tossed the pumpkin on the bed.
"no baby i can't, because we promised we wouldn't lie to one another." you pouted sarcastically, trying to reach past her to grab the pumpkin and squealing in shock as you were tackled to the bed.
"admit it! say you have an online shopping problem!" leah grunted, moving to sit on top of you as you wheezed and fought to throw her off.
"get off you haven't showered since training and you'll ruin them!" you whined, leah's eyes narrowing as she managed to pin your hands beneath her knees, not much taller than you but most certainly the stronger considering she was a professional athlete.
"oh? ruin these?" leah grabbed another jellycat in hand, this one a lime as you'd been on a bit of a food related kick with your purchases lately, and holding it up with a smirk.
"leah. put. it. down." you warned seriously, her smirk only growing. "i wonder what would happen if bella got a hold of one of these?" leah pondered, the two of you dogsitting for the week as amanda was away on a girls holiday.
"you do that, you'll be single faster than you can say north london forever williamson. put it down!" you growled as your girlfriend rolled her eyes, moving as if to place it down before she tossed it over her shoulder and you gasped.
"say you have an online shopping problem." "no!" this time it was a bright green frog which hit the bedroom floor and you gasped again. "say it babe."
"i do not have a problem. this is a hobby! like you collect vintage arsenal kits!" you accused, wriggling beneath her and groaning as you had no luck at all in throwing her off or getting a hand free.
"a hobby! please." leah scoffed. "i wear the kits, they have a purpose. these stupid little mounds of feathers or cotton or whatever the fuck they're made of just sit here all day. absolutely useless waste of money!" leah huffed as you inhaled sharply.
"they are not! they're loveable plush characters who have been around since the 90's with names and backstories and-" "oh my god if you buy one more stupid little plush to occupy my spot on the bed i'm kicking you out to sleep on the couch!"
"oh you'll kick me out will you miss needy?" you scoffed, raising an eyebrow in challenge, your girlfriend at her most clingy when the two of you were wrapped up in bed together of a night.
"if i need to. but these are just the tip of the iceberg of your online shopping problem! before this there was the stupid rocks-" "crystals." "then it was the stupid little action figures-" "pop vinyls." "then it was the fridge magnets-" "hey you said you liked that our fridge has personality now!" "and lets not forget the knitting, the colouring in, the necklace making kits, the paint by numbers-" leah listed off on her finger the countless hobbies you admittedly had invested quite a lot of money into before growing bored and moving onto something else.
"fine fine fine! i may have....some ever so slight difficulties with online shopping." you begrudgingly admitted, puffing our air with a scowl as leahs face softened.
"thank you. now was that so hard to admit?" your girlfriend smiled as your scowl only deepened. "get off me leah, right now."
leah rolled off of you as you couldn't wait and practically shoved her to the point she nearly fell off the bed as you stomped out of the room.
"babe! come on its out of love, i want to help you cure this problem." leah yelled out after you, hearing your footsteps thump back upstairs where the office was and sighing, already preparing her apology in her head before they sounded coming back downstairs and she paused.
"what are you-" she frowned seeing the odd assortment of objects in your hand, clearly looking as if you were struggling not to drop them as you carefully placed them down on the edge of the bed and leah scooted out of the way leaning back against the headboard.
"the hoverboard, the laptop dj set, the VR gaming headset, the rollerskates, the indoor golf set, the dartboard, the-" you listed off, pulling more things from under the bed or the back of the cupboard as leah suddenly seemed to run out of things to say, falling silent and blushing.
"now tell me, what are these leah?" you questioned the now quite large pile of leahs own dead hobbies on the bed as your girlfriend winced, hand awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck.
"um...presents?" "oh? and who bought you these then? were they for your birthday? christmas?" you asked, hands on hips and staring her down as leah cleared her throat and chuckled uncomfortably.
"um. presents to me...from me?" "mmm, so...you bought them online. correct?" "...not all of them." leah clarified as you scoffed.
"right, right. so..." you trailed off, raising your eyebrows expectantly as the blonde let out a deep sigh and slowly crawled forward so she was sat at the end of the bed on her knees.
"my beautiful, smart, gorgeous, sexy-" "not the time for flattery williamson." "i am very very sorry for-"
however before she could finish the front doorbell rang diverting both of your attentions, right as your phone dinged and leahs once sorrowful eyes narrowed, the two of you locked eye to eye.
you began to slowly back out of the room, hearing the doorbell go again as your phone started to ring and leah hopped to her feet, stalking after you with a knowing look as you chuckled nervously.
"leah no!" you squealed as within seconds she was sprinting past you, holding you off with one arm and a leg as she cracked open the door, the poor delivery man jolting in shock as just leahs head appeared and her hand came to cover your mouth, keeping you at bay with her foot pressed to your stomach.
"delivery for a-" "oh no i'm sorry for the mix up mate but nobody by that name lives here, better return to sender if you would!" "leah catherine williamson!"

blush ─── leah w.
masterlist.
"i made you blush! i did it!"
content warning: fluff, leah being competitive
You were never a blusher. No matter how many compliments or sweet pet names your girlfriend gave (as much as you appreciated them) could make your cheeks turn red. Certainly, you would grin over them and show your appreciation in other ways, but was never shown by blushing.
Leah was stubborn though, she was convinced she could get you to do it, constantly showering you in compliments and flirtatious comments. But to no avail, she never could make it work.
“You still haven’t given up about this, have you?” You questioned, watching the girl in front of you think hard about a new sweet thing to say to you in an attempt to make you blush.
“Absolutely not.” She grinned.
You rolled your eyes and continued on with what you were doing at the kitchen table, not paying mind to her antics. She continued to think though, attempting to come up with a plan.
Then, it came to her, a conversation you two had weeks ago. Something about a watch you wanted.
That was it.
A week had passed and you barely thought about the challenge Leah had set herself up to, her finally being able to drop the topic. However, the compliments never stopped and never would. Even if it didn’t complete her goal, she still loved to swoon over you.
The topic slipped your mind, too busy worrying about work and your life in general. So it was certainly a surprise when you opened the front door to your house to see it littered in balloons and a gift box and flowers sat at the table. Alongside it, Leah sat with a grin on her face.
“Welcome home, my love.”
“What’s all this about..?” You questioned, racking your brain of anything that was going on today that deserved this level of celebration.
It wasn’t your birthday, you hadn’t gotten a promotion, it wasn’t your anniversary, and you weren’t mad at her. So what could all of this be about?
“Just a little welcome home gift, I know you’ve been busy.” She smiled as she walked up to you, kissing your cheek and grabbing your hand to guide you to the table. “I got you a little something,” she explained, pointing to the perfectly wrapped gift box sitting on the marble countertop.
You grinned, still a bit confused on what this was all about, but still happy nonetheless. “Go on! Open it!” She urged, nudging the box closer to you.
You rolled your eyes at her eagerness and grabbed the box and gently removed the wrapping.
That was the difference between you and your lover, she was always eager and fast, you were always patient and slow. It was truly the perfect balance.
Your face lit up when you realized what was in it. You didn’t even think she would remember that you wanted this, it was barely brought up in a random conversation and you had even forgotten about it. “Are you serious Leah?” You cheesed, a wide smile spread across your face as you carefully opened the box to reveal a beautiful gold watch sat inside.
“Look at the top of the box.” She whispered in your ear, wrapping her arms around your waist and resting her head on your shoulder.
You did as she said and read the sweet note that was written on the inside of the top of the box.
Everything combined, the balloons, the note, the flowers, and the watch, it made butterflies swarm in your stomach and your face turn hot.
Leah turned her head, feeling the heat radiating off of your cheeks. A shite eating grin on her face as she realized. She let go and began jumping around like a child, running all around the kitchen with her hands up in the air like she just scored a goal.
“I did it! I made you blush!” She cheered running over to hug you.
“Shut up no you didn’t!” You laughed as she practically tackled you to the ground.
She was never gonna shut up about this.

cry for help
jana fernandez x emotionalsupport!reader
summary: sometimes the strong one needs help too
warnings: angst, mentions of injury
it’s almost a daily routine now, early mornings and late nights.
whenever your phone rings, it’s hardly ever a surprise—you already know it’s going to be someone from the team. you’re a solid foundation, the person everyone knows will pick up no matter what time it is.
your teammates joke about it, calling you the “rock of our team,” and they’re not wrong.
you’re the one they lean on, whether it’s for a ride to training, advice, or just an ear to listen.
like today, you’ve been up since six am, your phone vibrating beside you as you lace up your sneakers. vicky is texting, asking for a ride to training because her car’s in the shop.
without hesitation, you reply, “on my way,” grabbing your keys and heading out the door. you pull up in front of vicky’s place a little while later, watching her jog out of her building, bag slung over her shoulder and water bottle in hand.
she slides into the passenger seat, already mid-sentence about some random topic that has her laughing, and you can’t help but laugh along too. these car rides have become tradition, a time to catch up on everything, from gossip to game plans, and while they’re usually light-hearted,
you know she appreciates it more than she lets on. she’s been through some tough moments recently for a teenager, and if a ride can make her day easier, then you’re all in.
you’ve always been this way. giving, helping, always ready to step up. the team is like family, and you’d do anything for them. so when lucia calls later that week, her voice shaky over the phone, you drop everything and go.
she’s curled up on her couch when you arrive, looking small and fragile in a way that’s so unlike her usual confident self. it doesn’t take long for her to break down, admitting that her relationship has fallen apart. it’s raw and real, and she’s hurting.
she says something about feeling lost, like she’s somehow failed, and you’re there, holding her hand, listening without judgment.
hours go by, the sky darkening outside, but you don’t move until she finally nods off, exhausted but calmer. you leave a note, reminding her that she’s strong, that this pain will pass, and that she’s not alone.
that’s always been your role—to be the steady one, the one people call when things get tough. and yet, you realize, it’s been a while since anyone’s asked you how you’re doing. they wouldn’t know that lately, it feels like the weight of everything is pressing down on you.
maybe it’s because you’ve always handled things on your own, always managed to keep it together even when the pressure builds up. you don’t even go to your girlfriend of two years, jana, whenever you need help. maybe it’s because they’re so used to you being the strong one that they forget you might need a little support, too.
christmas rolls around, and you’re spending it with esmee and her girlfriend, danielle, who flew in from the netherlands. you can feel the holiday spirit in the air, the warmth and laughter filling esmee’s place as the three of you decorate, wrapping garlands around door frames and untangling strings of lights. danielle is vibrant, animated, bringing a bit of her dutch charm into the mix, and for a few hours, you find yourself relaxing.
there’s no expectation here, no one needing anything from you but your company. as the night goes on, you end up chatting on the couch, talking about everything from football to travel plans, and esmee’s laughter is contagious, filling the room with a joy that feels so comforting.
it’s one of those rare moments where you feel lighter, like maybe you don’t have to carry everything on your shoulders all the time.
as the season kicks back in, the demands on you only grow. it’s almost amusing how quickly your phone fills up with requests—from organizing things for alexia and olga’s event to helping ingrid after she got injured on the pitch.
you’re coordinating outfits, setting up rides, and giving pep talks before games. nobody else seems to notice how exhausted you are, and maybe that’s partly your own fault. you don’t let on. you smile, you reassure, you show up—every time, every day.
during el claisco– you take a hard tackle before halftime. it’s bad, but you grit your teeth and force yourself to get back up, brushing it off as if it’s nothing. the last thing you want is anyone worrying about you; it’s easier that way, to be the one who doesn’t need anything.
even as your leg throbs, a hot wave of pain radiating from your hamstrings, you push forward. you tell yourself you’re fine, that you can handle it. you’ve been through worse. and there’s a part of you that’s desperate to keep playing, to prove something, maybe to yourself, maybe to everyone else.
you’d scored last game, but in your mind, it’s not enough. it’s never enough.
in the locker room at halftime, you pull on a fresh shirt, forcing yourself to act like the throbbing in your knee is nothing but a minor ache. the team talks tactics, voices buzzing around you, but it’s hard to focus as you keep adjusting your weight off your right leg, gritting your teeth every time you have to stand.
you feel jana’s eyes on you from across the room, catching every wince, every small shift.
she doesn’t say anything at first, just watches. as you make your way toward the door to head back out, she steps in front of you, blocking your path.
“you’re not fine,” she says quietly, her eyes sharp.
“i can see it every time you put pressure on your leg.”
“i’m fine,” you say, voice firm but maybe too quick. she knows you too well, sees through every front you’ve ever put up, and today is no different.
jana shakes her head, not buying it for a second.
“no. you’re hurt, and if you’re not going to tell the coach, then i will.”
a jolt of panic runs through you.
“jana, please,” you say, your voice dropping. there’s a sadness there, a desperation. you don’t want to leave the game. you don’t want everyone thinking you’re weak.
her expression softens, but her tone stays resolute.
“then tell the coach yourself that you can’t keep going. go to the medic. please, for once, let yourself be honest.”
the look in her eyes is all it takes. you nod slowly, and with a heavy heart, you walk to the coach, explaining that you can’t play the rest of the match. you can’t even look at your teammates on the way out, avoiding every concerned glance as you head toward the medic room.
each step feels like an admission of defeat, and the sting of it burns even more than the pain in your knee.
sitting alone in the small room, it’s quiet, unbearably so. for the first time in a long time, you feel the weight of it all pressing down on you, every bit of responsibility and expectation you’ve been carrying. you’ve always been strong for everyone else, but now, when it’s your turn to be looked after, all you feel is a raw, aching sense of failure.
the tears come before you can stop them, silent and steady, until you’re caught in a wave of emotions you’ve been holding back for far too long.
the sound of the door opening breaks through your thoughts, and you look up, surprised to see both alexia and jana standing there. they’ve been taken off the pitch, and somehow got permission to come see you.
alexia steps forward first, her hand gentle on your shoulder.
“do you want to talk about it?” she asks softly.
jana, ever perceptive, doesn’t leave it as a question. she moves closer, searching your face, her expression filled with understanding and a quiet determination. she knows you don’t open up easily, knows you’d rather hide behind that strength everyone admires.
“tell us what’s really going on,” she says gently but firmly.
you take a shaky breath, looking between them.
“it’s el clasico… i wanted to score so badly. i needed to.” your voice cracks, the weight of the words catching you off guard.
“i don’t know why i’m pushing myself like this. i just… i feel like i have to prove that i belong here.”
alexia squeezes your shoulder, and you can tell she understands. she’s had her own battles, her own struggles with injuries and expectations.
“you don’t need to prove anything. you just signed a renewal. the team believes in you.”
jana’s hand finds yours, her fingers threading through, grounding you.
alexia gives your shoulder a final reassuring squeeze before stepping back.
“i’ll go back to the bench, but… take your time. we’re here when you need us.” she leaves quietly.
you let out a shaky breath, the last of your tears finally slowing. jana’s hand is steady on your back, her presence warm and grounding, and for the first time in a long while, you feel a sliver of relief breaking through the weight.
she pulls back just enough to look you in the eyes, her gaze soft but unwavering.
“you don’t have to do this alone, you know,” she whispers. her hand reaches up, brushing a tear from your cheek with a tenderness that nearly undoes you all over again.
“let me be strong for you, too.”
the words sink in, deeper than you could have ever expected. this strength you’ve always tried to carry for everyone else—it’s okay to let go of it sometimes.
maybe you don’t have to be the rock every day. not when your girlfriend is here, right beside you, who’s ready to share the weight.
“okay,” you whisper, your voice barely audible. it’s a start. you let yourself lean into her embrace once more, feeling the warmth and security of her arms, and for once, you let yourself just be held.
she doesn’t let go, and neither do you.
