Hello!Sorry if you've said this somewhere before, but I was just wondering if you are going to be updating the Simtopi story at any time? I just accidentally found it and binged it for the last two days and I was so sad to see it not finished! It is soooo, so, so good and interesting! Not only for a sims story, but in general. I swear if I was a producer or knew one I'd be contacting you to make a tv show!!!! If you didn't plan on finishing it, is there somewhere where I could read how it ends?

Hi there! I really appreciate this note! I had stopped updating the story after my Sims 2 game went kaput, and it would have been a lot of energy rebuilding all my sets and all the sims. I wish I could say that I will finish it one day, but it's not looking great with my life as it is. I'll think of an appropriate format for telling the rest of the story at the least, I'm just not sure when I can get around to it. I'm sorry if that's not a great answer, but thank you again.

Silly question I know, but I’m curious if Clara is naturally blonde or dark haired? And how long ago prior to the main plot did Wesley get turned into a vampire? :)

Hi there! I don’t think it’s a silly question. Clara is naturally dark haired.  I image Wesley was turned shortly before the first gen was born, so about 80 years in real world times.  If this were real world, I like to imagine that he was turned in the 1950s.

Hey, just wanted to congratulate you for the story! I binge-read all of it over the last 10 hours and can't wait for an update. It flows very nicely and it's surprisingly captivating from the get-go. I imagine how much work you must have poured into it over the years and that stuff doesn't always get the recognition it deserves, so here's a plus one from a random somebody!

I have been working on this story for years (with a long break in between the recent chapters). When I am, it's fun and I'm just happy you're enjoying it. I also appreciate you taking your time to write this note. Thank you very much!

( I’ve taken some time off and hopefully I can finally get a few undisturbed hours to concentrate on writing the next few chapters.  Sims 4 Seasons is happening soon, so I’ve been absorbed with that for a while (sorry/notsorry), also working on art is taking priority too, so the next chapter may take a little longer to finish.   I just wanted to pop into this blog to say this story is still on and thank you to all who’ve read, who are currently reading and who are following. Cecilia is not in a good place right now. That’s all I will say.

I’ve taken a break from working on Simtopi because it’s a really busy month at work, I’m still taking work home and I’m mentally tired. I’ve been playing TS4 Wren and Raven and drawing when I can.  I’m trying to write in batches of chapters, instead of single chapters, and because of that it may take a while for me to be ready to start taking screenshots.  I have a bunch of deadlines, professional and personal, for the end of May.  :p   I’m hoping to be able to start writing/shooting in earnest after that.

Follower gift: I will draw your Sim as a mermaid

Hi everyone. I just remembered that I kind of signed up for #Mermay. Obviously I’m not drawing a mermaid every day this month, but I’d like to draw some mermaids. Because mermaids. 

So… I didn’t have a 900 follower gift idea until now.  Send me your Sim. Any Sim, from any of the Sims games. If you want a premade Sim drawn, that’s cool too.  I will draw them as a mermaid.   :D

1) Follow one or all of my blogs @simdaisies @simtopi @lululounge  2) Leave some kind of note on this post.   3) I’ll draw as many as I can with varying degrees of finish (it could be a sketch, could be a full drawing), but I’d like to draw at least 5* (maybe more, I’ll see how it goes)

I've had to take work home a lot lately so I've been pretty busy with that. To keep my fun levels up, I've been playing Ts4 casually. I have the next chapter outlined, but I'm not sure when I can commit to shooting. I think next chapter is going to jump all over the place unless I can keep it organized.

Because this blog is close to 100 followers, and my main is at 900, I wanted to do some kind of follower gift.  (I will probably do another gift for those who follow @simdaisies I just have to think of one).   I love these posters of the Oscar Nominees made by u/flyingfossil on Reddit [ link 1 ] [ link 2 ] [ link 3 ].  I thought they’d be cool to have in Sims 2.

It’s been a hectic, and busy month, even on top of writing the last chapter. I really wanted to cover some ground with the chapters, hoping #campnanowrimo would help, but I just got too swamped with work, real life and other stuff.  I was over ambitious in thinking I could at least get 4 chapters written and two released.  Well, a two-parter counts for something, I think! 

I am also working on a small gift for everyone. My main blog @simdaisies is now at 900 followers, and this blog is almost at 100. It means a lot to me that anyone is following at all, and I wish I was a CC goddess that I can do more for you. I have to take previews when I get home from work, but hopefully you’ll see it tonight.

This update is to improve how Sims 2 :UC works on Windows 10. But my game already works well on Windows 10 thanks to all the hacks I've haphazardly glued and taped together. I don't know what this means for my game, but it's time to back up.
