I used the H&M free standing curtain as the texture.

Hi everybody!

I was looking at my tumblr, as I do almost every day, and I saw a set of table and chairs that were so beautiful that I wanted to recolor something nearby for the game. I looked for game objects that had thinner lines and found this table and chairs that met what I was looking for.

I was happy with the result. There are four table options and four chairs with sixteen different options to use.

After it was finished, I looked to see if there were any additions to the chair and table and, luckily for me, I found a really cool set that offers more options from this set.

I was really lacking any custom coloured brows, so I just did a bunch from a few different creators that I like. They all come in the original afterglow family binned in one unisex package, and 9 customs. I've popped Volatile bases in the zips for all but JA's brows as they already came in Volatile and I didn't edit them.

Recolor swatches and my notes on adding envcube masks to clothing under the cut:

*This is for The Sims 2

Recolor number 00 in each set contains envcube mask and is required by other recolors.

Metallic Messina dress recolors all use one envcube mask texture and one grey clothing texture, colors are added with TXMT settings only.

Same with dark shades of Disheveled suit - four recolors, only two textures.

Hourglass Dress Short mesh contains two shoe textures: black and beige, I've also included TXMT setting files ready to be imported into recolors, so you can easily swap those if you wish.

BTW I also included TXMT settings that you can merge with 4t2 Messina recolors converted by Platasp. This will add a snakeskin envcube/mask (from my recolor).

When adding shine to custom clothing, remember that shiny subset has to be separate from skin and that TXMT Type (cMaterialDefinition tab) has to be set to SimStandardMaterial !

Notes on recolouring clothes with envcubemask:

SimPe is required.

Here's a tutorial on adding shine to clothes - but the quickest way is to simply import TXMT settings with shine and mask from recolor that already has those, and edit texture names (& cMaterialDefinition TXMT type, if it's set to SimSkin).

Bodyshop breaks envcube masks - when you make a new recolor of shiny outfit it will turn the mask to transparent DXT3

borked texture has to be replaced with ExtRaw8bit texture, or you can remove it and link TXMT to envcube mask texture name from another package (stdMatEnvCubeMaskTextureName line). I recommend removing custom envcube texture that Bodyshop creates and using TS2 envcube (stdMatEnvCubeTextureName line).

I find that reflectionsilver-envcube is the best for neutral and colorized shiny patterns on clothing, unless you want bright gold shine - then reflectiongold-envcube works best, with stdMatEnvCubeCoef set to pure white.

Envcubes often used for objects, like reflectionsparking-envcube, will look quite mirror-y and dark in envcube blend mode.

stdMatEnvCubeMode: blend mode works best for medium / dark textures, while diffuseRadiance mode works best for light clothing textures. There's also standard Reflection mode, which is quite subtle, probably best if you'd like to make patches of clothing look like satin or plastic.

To achieve nice glitter / sparkle effect, Envcube mask has to be crisp, high contrast, black and white. Make sure you have 100% black on parts that are not supposed to be shiny.

stdMatEnvCubeCoef line is the reflection color / brightness. Envcubes have their own colors already, so your reflection color settings will be affected by it. Reflectionsilver-envcube texture is neutral with greyish-blue shadows, no dark spots.

Reflection with mask can be previewed in Bodyshop. Have in mind that reflections look quite bright when camera is in front of a Sim, but when you open the game and look at the same outfit at an angle, it won't be as bright.

In this vid you can see reflectionkitchenhighcontrast-envcube used for silver dress - looked great but when I put that dress on my Sim, and looked at it from above, reflections were barely visible.

Uh oh, it looks like the bills came early... and they're piling up! Did your sims spend too much this holiday season? Maybe sign up for too many "free" trials? Well, in any case, they need to fork up some cash, or feel the wrath of the repo man.

4t2 @sentate Twiggy Dress

The Festive Sisters™ are back for this Simsmas, bringing the annual Sentate conversion a cute formal dress! This was tricky, because of the shine and transparent part, to arrange the groups so they work with just one texture. Anyway. It's done!

For adults and teens, they have the appropriate morphs. They come in the original 40 colors, and you can choose if you want the TF files repo'd to the AF files, or not. Shoes are Martini's 3t2 conversion of Elexis' Lola Pumps :)

Hello, it's been a little while huh? I took a break for a bit, then just as I started working on stuff again, I wasn't able to use my computer for a while. Oh well, I got there in the end. And the download this time is, as you can see, yet another seating set from Fallout. This time from Fallout 76, it shows up in the Vault at the start of the game, and can also be crafted in camps too, I believe.

Details:

The sofa is the base mesh, with the loveseat and chair being linked to it. Only one subset.

Textures are 512x512. This is also mapped in kind of a silly way, with a lot of texture space going to a blanket... (which isn't on these edits because it added like 1k to the polycount, and it takes away versatility imo)

Comes in 25 colors in a modified palette from the other sets I've done. Swatch is included and listed below.

This is @simborg 4t2 Saurus Damien for PU-EU in my Pooklet-Digi-Io palette, using Simborg's EA + Nouk texture blend. I made small edits to the AM & PU meshes (see under the cut). Polycount: 4.2k.

For best optimization, choose only one version. Download for F sims only: SFS / Mega Download for M sims only: SFS / Mega Download for F&M: SFS / Mega

All recolors are binned and familied except for Naberius which is in the custom bin. I use Grenade both as a blond for toddlers-adults and as a grey for elders - if you don't want Grenade for elders, just delete the file that ends with "_grenade_EUgrey".

Mesh edits

On AM-EM and PU, the hairline was clipping with the foreheads of some of the face templates that I use, so I edited it slightly.

I also fixed up the toddler mesh at the nape, no pics sorry.
