DIY Dog Treats: Pumpkin Nuggets

Ingredients:

1 cup almond pulp* 

1 15oz can pumpkin puree, unsweetened (not pie filling) 

1 vegan egg* (1 tablespoon flax meal + 3 tablespoon water)  

*Almond Pulp: After straining the almond milk through the nut milk bag, remove the pulp from inside the bag and place in a separate container. *Flax meal: *Ground flax seeds into a fine flour like substance.

Instructions: 

1. In a separate bowl combine 1 tablespoon of flax meal and 3 tablespoons of water and stir well. Allow mixture sit for 6 minutes to thicken. 

2. In a medium size mixing bowl add pumpkin puree, vegan egg and almond pulp and mix until well combined. 

3. Spoon 1 tablespoon of mixture into your hand and place on the dehydrator rack, make sure the treats are not touching. Dehydrate for 8 to 9 hours.
