i just started watching it and im already in love, definitely a good follow up to watch after andi mack!! there’s only two episodes out so far, but this series looks like it is going to go amazing places :o) 

So I just started Hoshiai no Sora (Stars Align in english) and I expected the typical sports anime, only to learn it won't be a typical sports anime, and its way of subverting expectations kinda reminded me of Andi Mack so here I am.

After only two episodes Stars Align has:

Introduced us to a domestic abuse storyline

Introduced an explicitly gay Male main character (who is a middle schooler, as is most of the cast)

Touched on bullying

And female characters with diverse body types

So if you like Andi Mack, or sports anime, or both you might want to check this out.

straight up TELL ME that andi would not love homecoming season, even though she’s not a texas girl. 

dressing up all week in fun themes? we already know she loves that!!  

homecoming parade? she is 110% leading the design for the art clubs float!! 

dress shopping with buffy and amber? style icon andi would ABSOLUTELY flex on every other girl there!!! 

and don't even get me started on homecoming mums, we already miss best-crafter-in-the-world would make one of those crazy over the top mums like this:

Overall story summary: Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen are two rival actors that always seem to find themselves competing for the same roles. On a hot July day like any other, they discover that their agents have landed them both supporting roles in an L.A. based action movie, but instead of competing for the same role, they now find themselves playing each other’s love interests. With a shared past they’re both trying to grow from, things get a little complicated when feelings enter the mix. Hey, it’s only 6 months. Right?
