"Quiet Retreat Weekend" When you do things you love, enjoy the people you're surrounded by, enjoy the places you go to and give yourself extra time to reflect about it all. We resort to Human-Doings when we don't take the time and effort to just BE. This weekend I went camping, I took the time to get to know the people around me; I did not tend to my cell phone NEARLY as much as I usually do; I spent hours playing cards with friends and got to laugh because life was simple&beautiful once I slowed my pace. This weekend was not elaborate, but it's something I'll take with me. (at Long Lake Provincial Park)

DIY Photobooth. Step 1: Grab two wooden panels and make sure they are sturdy. Step 2: Grab a long cloth/ piece of drapery, your choice of colour, and wrap it around the wooden frames... bottom to the top. Step 3: Frame your frame to your delight ( If you don’t like the rawness of the simple frame. I framed mine with black curtains. Step 4: Wrap some great Christmas lights around it to bring soft lighting to whatever picture you take. Step 5: Do whatever else you want to float your boat. I put to soft light lamps on both sides to brighten each picture without killing the vibe. HAVE FUN

Let me just share my heart for women married and single in this church. I don’t desire that you would be the pat-your-head, bless-your-heart, be-quiet, ask-when-you-get-home type of women. Grow in the knowledge of the Word of God. Strengthen your mind as much as possible. Do not be satisfied with emotive devotionals. Get in the deep end of the pool. Grow theologically. Grow in your gifting. Practice and exercise your gifts in order to make disciples for the glory of God. Be the type of women who are iron that sharpen the iron of your husbands and male friends. And young men, don’t be intimidated by women who are more theologically informed and educated than you are. They might just help your dumb self.

At first glance, it may look like a normal class photo. But it’s actually a photo from Columbine High School taken weeks before the infamous shooting in 1999. The students in the top left pretending to aim guns at the camera are Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the teens who would end up slaughtering their classmates just a few days later.
