izuku’s characterization (from my au)

1) MIDORIYA IZUKU

I’d definitely say Midoriya’s different in here. Physically wise, he’s not much different. He;s still got the green-black curly hair, his cute green eyes and freckles. Kind of plain looking, honestly, people don’t really notice him. But he’s just got something special to him that makes people gravitate to him. When he speaks, especially about the things he’s passionate about, he just has that air about him that makes people want to listen to him.

 He likes to take notes like he does in canon; he takes notes on anyone who’s quirk is interesting to him. Heroes go down no matter what because he’s still a huge fuckin’ nerd about them, villains will go down, too, but mainly for analyzing their quirks and weaknessess. He also does notes about his friends too, which can be a bit extensive to the point of creepy because honestly Izuku’s kinda iffy about boundaries.

 He has a personality that goes from 0 to 100 like, at the drop of a hat. 0 being his innocent, note-taking, cinnamon roll self and 100 being his determined to the point that he has tunnel vision, ignore the pain to get what you want, don’t give fuck all as long as what needs to happen happens. There’s literally like no in between, and sometimes it’ll happen at the littlest things, such as getting a chore done or taking a test or like maybe studying or what-not. 

His quirk is basically ‘borrowed power’ haha, where he can take someone’s quirk (guess who he got that from, just fuckin guess) but also give it back in a pull and push motion (gues where he got THAT from. HELLS YEAH HE GOTSA QUIRK WHOOOO) he was bullied quite a lot for his quirk, but izuku always held his head high.

Yes he does want to be a hero to save people but also he wants to have the power to change the way things are, y’know, like how people are kiiinda discriminatory towards people who don’t have quirks and people with ‘villain’ quirks. He wants to be a hero on the battlefield and off, and he will be.

so here's a basic rundown of my new alternate universe idea!

So uhhh All for one was once a young man doing young man things when he met a girl, Midoriya Inko. They matured together and fell in love together and eventually got married, and around the time that Inko contracted a babe, All for One got really into the villainy thing, like, so into it it would spill over to his family if he wasn't careful. So he made a fake story about going overseas so he could pay for a comfortable and safe life for Inko and their child.

Just to be clear, All for One loves his wife and child, Inko and her husband talk over the phone and text like daily, and Inko never fails to record important events, such as first day of school, or him demonstrating his quirk, for her husband so he never misses really important things. She also takes like daily pictures of him to send to her husbando and also Izuku and his father talk on the phone, too. So he's still a part of their life, just not there physically so that they don't get caught in the crossfire. (And yes this does mean that AfO got daily photos of his son in an All Might onesie)

So that's just the basic rundown, like the basic backstory. baisc

So now to Izuku and his quirk. Since AfO can steal quirks and his mother has a sort of push and pull telekinesis type quirk, his quirk is going to be "Karita chikara" which is Japanese for borrowed power because he can pull someone's quirk into his body and use it and push it back out and into the original person's again. To him, people with quirks sort of have a glowing ball in the center of their chest which represents their quirks, that he can manipulate to float into his chest and back to the other person's chest. and honestly i haven't really thought much past that.
