Okay. This new episode was great, how at the end Max took the blame for everything (where he very well should have in my opinion). It surprised me, made me smile a little because throughout the season, he has not only been smiling more, but learning "hey I don't need to be so freakin selfish/mean" (more or less) and really makes me think about his home life (where I always have, but man, this episode really got me thinking because he took the fall for someone, and back at his home lord knows what could of happened)

I've always held my pencil very close to this, and I draw (almost) daily, for 4-8 hours on end. My personal experience: fingers/hand rarely cramp/hurt. (Though after drawing 10+ hours, my wrist tends to hurt a tad bit)

Do you know when you need to paint skulls, vehicles or some object full of crevices and details that change and get obscured by different angles? It can be hard to find good references, sometimes you need to learn how it looks from unusual angles like the underside, but no one take photos of the underside.

Well, the folk at Sketchfab do. It’s a project that has been running for a while, and wow, it has grown since I last checked it! Some incredibly kind museums joined and are sharing 3D scans of their collections, to not speak of the high quality scans of almost anything by regular users. You’ll also find original 3D models there. It’s amazing, a wealth in information at your fingertips, almost as if you had the object in your hands. Enjoy!

Okay but??? Stop??? Romanticising mental illnesses??? Stop pretending you have depression or anorexia or bipolar or self harm if you don’t? It’s not something you want? Or that anyone actually wants? It’s not a cute outfit you can ‘put on’ and ‘take off’, that you ‘have depression’ and then ‘suddenly dont’. I’d fucking love to go a day without thinking about killing myself and go a day loving my body and not being paranoid when I drink something without knowing exact calories, to go a day without shaking like a leaf when I have to speak in front of class, and saying ‘anxiety is so cute, I wish I had it! Shy people with anxiety are so cute!’, like, no. Stop romanticising and faking mental illnesses. Realise how amazing it is that you don’t think about killing yourself?? Like, you don’t want that, please stop.
