this mod allows your sim to take a nap while hugging the infant.

requires the growing together expansion pack and the xml injector

a new action, "take a nap with baby," is available in the "baby care" category.

to use this action, have a sofa or living chair nearby. when you click on the action, the sim will automatically go to the appropriate object to start the nap.

here’s what the full animation looks like:

please note, there may be a small clipping issue at the beginning and end of the animation.

male sims have the same animation, with a slight adjustment in leg position.

buffs:

if an infant has the "hates being carried" trait, they will not receive the buff. similarly, an adult sim with the "hates children" trait will not receive the buff.

90s Motel Set (Maxis Match Build/Buy CC!)

This is a build set I really wanted for my own gameplay as I was building a motel. It has items that not only suit the old motel style, but also look good in most homes. I spent a lot of time fine-tuning this set, and I think it turned out great in the end!

The objects are low-mid poly, handmade, and come in all EA wood swatches so they should match lots of other items in the game. They also have a basic white and black swatch without any wood grain. Not showcased is also a curtain rod to make the curtains modular, they are also designed to look mostly seamless in their patterns when placed next to each other.

The Story of Atticus and Elsa (10/10)

Elsa has full support from Florence in her divorce. Florence invites her out to the romance festival which makes Elsa feel better. The guru tells her that she will find love in a place she least expects.

Once the divorce is finalized, Elsa moves back to Windenburg with her parents. Her and Atticus decide it’s best he keeps custody of Lizbeth since Elsa has yet to bond with her. She hates that she’s back with her parents, but it’s a temporary situation. She decides to work on herself for a bit.

Atticus continues seeing this new woman and she ends up pregnant. He decides to put his complete energy into this new family, but can he trust this new woman? Can he be faithful himself?

The Story of Atticus and Elsa (9/10)

Elsa tries to make it work with Atticus even after all he has done to her. Even though she struggles to connect with her daughter Lizbeth, she still tries for their family. Atticus continues to cheat and ends up having a continuous affair with a woman visiting from Oasis Springs. He does fall for her. He’s not sure if it’s love or lust but he doesn’t care.

This affair pushes Elsa completely over the edge. She begins their divorce process hoping it’s over sooner than later.
