i  think  it’s  really  important  for  nerv  to  have  the  family  aspiration,  than..  being  a  big  animal  lover  like  they  made  him  in  4.  NOW  DON’T  GET  ME  WRONG.  nerv  actually  adores  animals.  because  i  have  this  ironic  hc  that  nerv,,,  values  life  -  despite  being  the  son  of  literal  death.  BUT.  i  feel  the  fact  that  him  wanting  a  family  is  more  poetic,  and  fitting  for  his  character.  nerv  spent  his  whole  life  sheltered,  pretty  much  no  friends,  knows  nobody  else  outside  his  household,  and  the  only  “”parents””  he  has  sees  him  as  nothing  more  than  a  lab  rat.  so,  i  feel  that  nerv  wants  a  family  for  a  somewhat  selfish,  but  understandable  reason.  he  wants  a  family  that’ll  actually  love  him.  he  doesn’t  want  to  be  alone  anymore,  and  so  he  constantly  daydreams  about  finding  his  soulmate  and  then  having  children  with  them.  i  feel  he  first  started  feeling  this  way  after  the  twins  were  born  -  errrr…  created.  nerv  noticed  just  how  much  loki  favored  the  twins  over  him.  and  it  just  made  nerv  feel…  Even  Lonelier,  and  more  jealous.  even  if  he  has  no  ill  feelings  toward  the  twins,  it  just  made  him  wish  someone  could  love  him  like  family.

But once Tycho was born … I don’t know … it’s like it was meant to happen.

like the details in 2 is so great and it really does add for just Random Fucking Bizarre Drama out of nowhere. nerv was having a wedding and then circe out of nowhere just starts,,, Cheating On Loki With Vidcund????? rekindling their romance???? but erin, loki’s sister was there, so she catches this and the absolute LOOK OF BETRAYAL ON HER FACE.

and then erin starts gettin fucking pissed at this.

also  cannot  remember  if  sims’  family/friends  react  if  they  see  said  sim’s  partner  cheating  on  them  in  3  or  4.  buuuuut  given  that  4  has  a  mod  where  kids  get  a  moodlet   from  seeing  one  parent  cheat,  i’m  gonna  guess  not.
