During my time away

I’ve ran into many people and many things, some good some bad, some ntimelines have been peaceful while some were drowning in chaos. But..this one seems ok, but I wonder what is the current state of life in this time zone, but finding out would be odd, its weird to go to someone and ask if the current time is in a good state without gaining odd looks.
