Okay y'all, here's a Cosplay history fact from me. Originally, I was scared to cosplay any other character that was not my skin color. So it was one of my motivations to start as Yoruichi from Bleach (that and she was my favorite character) then I decided to face my fears and cosplay Yang from RWBY; ever since then, people liked it and I learned to appreciate my craft no matter how my skin looks. And it's thanks to your support I made it this far without worrying about my skin ever again. So for all my fellow black cosplayers, know that you are beautiful no matter how you dress and I will support in anyway I can. Love you guys! Lol long time no see everybody! 💓 Hope all is well! Finally got my groove back again and I'm currently working on a Fairy version of Sailor Mars by the artist NoFlutter. I had the wings commissioned by Fairy Trade on Etsy. It was worth it!!! My friends, Steven Universe has officially ended today. I loved every part of Steven's journey and I'm glad I stuck with it. Steven came around in the same year my mom passed away. I didn't realize it then, but he along with cosplaying helped me crawl out of that deep void and as Steven grew, I grew some as well. I was just into college but I started learning about what I wanted for myself in life. I realized I've loved the music & arts and always will and cosplaying was my first step. I'm definitely going to use it to my advantage, I just need to find out how.
