go builderman headcanons cuz he doesn’t get enough attention

-unlike popular fandom interps, for me, builderman is like some sort of deity, created by 2x2 alongside Roblox(the character) and Eric to flesh out and refine robloxia. -Builderman used to have a god-like form, but he abandoned it long ago to favor a robloxian body, he figured it was easier to approach people this way.

-Builderman probably has multiple sets of wings but never shows them

-^ he can hide/show them at will

-^^ the only person who’s probably ever seen them is Telamon/shedletsky

-he used to be much more energetic and passionate before, but loads of work drained his energy away, the friendly builderman still sits there, just changed due to the situations he put himself in.

-(not an entirely original hc, yet I do not know who it belongs to) the spectre is a part of builderman, just the way 1x is a part of shed, the spectre has existed for quite the time now, yet, most of that time, its existence was unbeknownst to builderman. -^ now that he knows the origins of such a monster, he feels incredibly guilty for said thing’s existence.

-Builderman is pretty used to running on a friendly, more energetic facade, yet being in the spectre’s realm really, really forced him out of it

-^ Telamon/shed was of the first people to try and look past said mask, wanting to genuinely know more of builderman as a person, not as an authority.

As stories are meant to be, an experimentation of concept to discover how things would work under specific circumstances. No matter how unserious may a ship seem, they all boil down to the “what if”. “What if these characters fell in love” “what if these characters were in a relationship” “what if these characters were together for [x] motive” “how would these character’s relationship work” “what would make their bond special”.

it all truly is work of one’s desire to know, what if, why and how? And even if the answer isn’t deep, it is still part of the curiosity to just know.

it gives you an endless amount of room to explore and experiment, seemingly humanity’s greatest passion. You could explore a healthy and happy relationship, you could explore a blunt and disconnected one, you could explore an unfair and toxic one, you could explore a passionate and deeply complex one, there are many ways to go, many ways to do

and it also includes not just exploring romantic relationships, but all other kinds, platonic, queer platonic, familial, any of the sort. And it’s all so wonderful. But it sadly, gets quickly watered down to simple meanings and terms that, without specification, get tiring to put up with.

one always has to be overly specific, or else, may they get judged or misinterpreted. But still, there’s just this beauty to shipping itself.

Shipping is such a multilayered thing too.

You can ship characters for happily ever afters, sure, you can ship them for tragically-then-happily, you can ship two or three or four or more, you can ship endless combinations of personality types and relationship dynamics

but you can also ship characters under very specific circumstances, or for a certain period of their life but not for all of it, or only in a certain universe. You might say “I ship these characters” and what you mean is you think they are fascinating together and could have a story together. That story could be any kind of story. 

Sometimes it means you want them together for the rest of their lives. Sometimes it means something different than that.

I don’t know about you, but for me, “I ship it” means “There is a story in this ship and I am interested in that story.”

i had a dream that time travel was invented and too many people choose to travel back in time to save the titanic from sinking (the question of whether unsinking of the titanic deserved so much attention in the face of human history was the subject of both heavy academic and online discourse), which caused a rift in the space-time-continuum that led to the titanic showing up indiscriminately all over the world’s oceans and sea in various states of sinking.

this caused a lot of issues both in terms of fixing said space-time-continuum and in terms of nautical navigation, and after a long and heavy battle in the international maritime organization it was decided that the bureaucratic burden of dealing with this was to be upon Ireland, much to their dismay. the Irish Government then released an app for all sailors and seafarers so they could report titanic sightings during their journeys, even though they heavily dissuaded you from reporting them given the paperwork it caused.

As well as countless of others from the AI generator community. Just talking about how "inaccessible art" is, I decided why not show how wrong these guys are while also helping anyone who actually wants to learn.

📚Here is my list:

The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.

"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.

"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.

"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.

"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.

"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.

"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.

"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.

"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.

Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.

📝As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. If you want to go fancy Michaels is always a good place for traditional supplies. They also get in some good sales and discounts. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are usually more expensive.

For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.

💻As for art programs here is a list of Free to pay.

Clip Studio paint ( you can choose to pay once or sub and get updates. Galaxy, Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, Android, or Chromebook device. )

Procreate ( pay once for $9.99 usd, IPAD & IPHONE ONLY)

Blender (for 3D modules/sculpting, animation and more. Free)

PaintTool SAI (pay but has a 31 day free trail)

Krita (Free)

Aseprite ($19.99 usd but has a free trail, for pixel art Windows & macOS)

Drawpile (free and for if you want to draw with others)

NOTE: Some of these can work on almost any computer like Clip and Sai but others will require a bit stronger computer like Blender. Please check their sites for if your computer is compatible.

So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.

I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.
