Some Dorian/Subject Two design headcanon things I did for fun a while ago. Also the model edits are based on an edit I did trying to make Albedo resemble the slightly taller proportions from his character teaser below(to be clear I like short Albedo and I'm one of the few people who likes his ingame model. I just wanted to see an in-between short and tall guy model edit for him.)

Human Ajaw design ramble;
Aka I spent too much time on his design and will now go into far too much detail about my thought process.
So starting out, I knew wanted to keep it vaguely within the ballpark of Genshin's 'playable' designs, mostly because I work best with imposing limitations like that on myself. I also wanted to make Ajaw feel older than the rest of Natlan and its contemporary influences on the playable characters designs. So what better place to start than what's available in-game about ancient Natlan?
And so I spent two hours taking screenshots of Tollan and the inside of the volcano. I also researched the Mayans for this design, as Ajaw's name has its origin in their language.
So for the basic outfit idea, I mostly looked at the Dragonlord/Kukulkan's model in-game, combining it with depictions of nobility/higher status in Mayan carvings to create it. I also decided to incorporate the idea of Ajaw being CL-04—I wanted to further push his association with dragon tech and phlogiston—as it gave me more interesting things to pull from than if I did it with the idea Ajaw is CL-10.
Patterns, patterns, patterns. Ajaw already has a fun pixel art aesthetic to pull from, so I decided to push it by giving myself a simple rule; no round patterns. The only exception being his earrings—which will be explained further down—and scale patterns on the jade beads of his sandals. I mostly referenced the designs in Kinich's skill(since Ajaw is basically the power behind most of his kit) and around Tollan to create these patterns.
You may have seen the coat on my drawings of Ajaw as a Dragonlord before; fun fact, I actually designed this design first!
Because I based his outfit on Kukulkan's in terms of colour, and I wanted him to use a lot jade and gold jewellery as it was important in Mayan culture—often worn by nobility with jade having spiritual significance—I didn't make his hair fully green like his sprite. This was because it blended in a little tone-wise with his brown skin, and the greyscale showed less contrast. So bright yellow it became, and I think it works well to draw attention to his face.
Ajaw also gets to have multiple piercings as the Mayans tended to have facial piercings, albeit in a more modern style to avoid clashing with his stupid sunglasses I have a love/hate relationship with. This is also why he has a somewhat modern based disaster of a hairstyle.
Do not ask me how it looks when down, or how he dyed it. I've decided it somehow grows in those colours.
His eyes are narrow and somewhat sharp, and I didn't want to make them just blue like his sprite—do you know how many fuckers in this game already have blue eyes?—so he gets an unnecessary amount of colour in them, that I'm only now realising also includes the colours of phlogiston. Happy accidents!
