I just saw a comment on Instagram (reel about K-pop Demon Hunters but is anyone surprised?) that “Golden” and “Your Idol” are breaking literal records and I am here for it. Those songs were AMAZING (the whole soundtrack was just so unbelievably good). There was no reason to go so hard but I am so glad they did and wish more movies (especially animated) did. I haven’t been this obsessed with a movie in probably a decade. I love animated movies (my favorite kind) as they can do so much and show practically anything (the Gwi-Ma fire scene, the contrast of pastel and Grim Reaper fits for the Saja Boys, the outfits), but to make a soundtrack that has several songs breaking records and being in the top 50 USA?
That is crazy and I love it.
And the fact that there are more songs out there just floating around someone’s computer-😭

Watched K-pop Demon Hunters recently (why did they go so hard for a animated movie? But I’m here for it!).
My brain immediately went to Drew and how hilarious would it be for her to be a K-pop-star (or another Hunter) or even a demon. Like I would just find that so hilarious and amazing. Or I could see her being the designer for the girls costumes and casually knows their hunters and then just drops lore about her own experiences (two of them) with world ending events. Technically a third of you include the Kane Chronicles (though she wasn’t there too much).
And the absolute twist it would be if Piper (or any of the Seven/Nico or Reyna was a fan of her music. There’s so many ways to spin it, moving up the Percy Jackson timeline (as we know fics do sometimes) or when she’s older.
Drew, causally taking a fashion internship for Huntrix, learning about Gwi-Ma and how the world could end: I really just can’t get away from this shit.

Re-entering my Percy Jackson era and though I think Drew was kind of wasted potential.
I think it would have been really interesting to have her be a Triumvirate member (especially formally). I really liked the idea hat she was somehow related to Caligula (a daughter, adopted or biological) and her full name is Drusilla. I think it would have been really cool to have had that be revealed in Trials of Apollo. Going off of this, it Drew could have been revealed to have left the Triumvirate due to believing in Silena and her other siblings, only for it to be revealed Silena was working with her family the whole time. It would have also been really nice to see Piper connect with her and Drew connect with the others, as rarely do any of the Percy Jackson (Greek God ones) ever get reunited (and stay alive), though I could have just missed some.
I know most people don’t care for Drew, and I don’t like how she treats Piper, but I’ve always liked certain villains, especially ones like Drew that had potential for something more than to just be a throwaway and an obstacle. And if she was just an obstacle, it was kind of weird for Uncle Rick to include her in Serpent’s Shadow but I digress.

So I’ve just finished watching Yellowjackets (new obsession).
I was thinking about Other Taissa (OT) and how we see that she’s been in control a lot more than we realized and I wondered why that was. In the Wilderness it’s usually pretty clear so I wondered if she adapted? And then I thought about the Taivan breakup and thought h about what a scene it would it be if Van had told her to go to sleep (Tai tells Simone that after they were rescued it just stopped). I imagine Van sitting on Tai’s hospital bed, talking with OT about how they were in a different place now and she couldn’t do what she was sued to doing, nor could she eat what she was used to. OT of course is confused but ultimately agreed when Van pleads with her and ends up sleeping for some years and when she ‘wakes up’ she’s married to this new woman with no Van in sight. OT has obviously been awake for sometime as Sammy knows from the first time we see him that something is up but it doesn’t seem like it’s been going on that long as the drawings and when she’s reading to him are the first they hear of it. Anyway, it was just a really interesting that I think would add so much to their relationship as I think Van and Taissa always knew they wouldn’t last but the Wilderness actually made Van hope a little before she reloaded in the woods when Tai asked if they couldn’t be together when they get back that Tai wouldn’t go public. I like to think Van loved Tai enough to let her go but still resented her for marrying later, feeling as though it was more about her than it was about Tai being gay (which isn’t totally true but I could definitely see how it would come across that way to her).

So Dorcas, right, my favorite character from CAOS. I was rewatching the Lupercalia episode and it occurred to me that Dorcas in that episode is…not really in ‘character’ for what was displayed in the first season. Of course, like I said in my last Dorcas post, she isn’t really given a definitive personality so it very well could be in character, but it just doesn’t seem to be.
She’s shown as a easily-bullied-into-plans person, and doesn’t seem like she’d strike out on her own like she does in the Lupercalia episode. It also is quite odd that she targets Sabrina, someone who killed her sister and could easily overpower her. That is to say, unless, the reason she was even after Nick was because of Sabrina. Which is what I personally think it was down to. Or perhaps she wanted revenge for Agatha, or Agatha put her up to it. She’s been shown to be a intimidatable person, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Agatha didn’t want to tangle with the person who killed her but didn’t want to let it go. And, of course, Dorcas could have just decided to do it but, based on what is shown from the first season, this really isn’t likely.
A thing I’ve commonly seen in fics is that Dorcas is widely thought of as the weakest Weird Sister (something which I can see), the last pick to her sisters, and she’s into herbs and crystals. I think her talents lie in more..abstract areas of Satanic witchcraft, like herbology and things like that than the more likable and well known witchcraft.
I’ll probably post more things about CAOS as I’m currently getting back into, especially about the Weird Sisters (mainly Dorcas).

Another random thought but this time about the Netflix show Wednesday. It’s a bit Bianca’s father. I’m honestly curious to where he is. Is he dead? Does he know about her? Is he even a siren?
Personably, my own headcanon about sirens is there are likely a few variants, like salt water and freshwater, coastal and deep. I feel like they look different, I kind of imagine the saltwater deep ones to be similar to the show Siren instead of the mermaid type ones we see that Kent is.
I don’t really know why but I imagine her father to be from Africa and Australia in addition to being in a pod (what I call a group of sirens) from there. I also didn’t honk he knows about her but as there is nothing canon about him, who knows.
I personally would like to know a bit more about him in season two, even if it’s just if he’s alive or dead, if he’s a siren, or if he knows about Bianca.
I also think the name ‘Barik’ would suit him, its Greek and means “A Well Watered Place”. I don’t know why but 🤷‍♀️

So-I had a thought about this in the shower. I, personally, think Dorcas would actually make a fantastic redeemable villain for the next part of CAOS, or, an antagonist of some kind.
The main reason I think this is because of how quickly Prudence, and Agatha, seem to get over Dorcas’s death. Prudence almost seems to replace them after her death and Agatha’s insanity. She makes a new sisterhood, forming the new Weird Sisters, with Roz and Mambo Marie. Then she rejoins with Agatha after she regains her sanity back, which is actually the only time we see either of them mourn Dorcas for more than a passing sentence or two. This really opens a door for a villain Dorcas as, I believe that, on some level due to the bond the Sisters have (I headcanon it is a mental and emotional bond, possibly magical) Dorcas knows that her sisters ‘replaced’ her, and that’s how it would seem to her, or really anyone. There is a lot of untapped potential with this idea as there is no real personality for Dorcas beyond the first season. She would likely feel betrayed and angry at the fact that her sisters replaced her and attempt to prove that she’s not weak and is a true witch.
Her personality is never fully hashed out so the reality of her becoming a villain cannot be consider “out of character”. In most things I have seen, fanfiction included, Dorcas is considered to be the weakest of the three sisters and, in Wiki it even says that she was not very confident as a child and stuttered and stammered when she was nervous. This leads me to believe that Dorcas was likely bullied, by her sisters as well, for being “un-witch like”.
Personally, this is something that would be really interesting to see and has some merit to it as well as a villainous backstory that would not be out of the blue or without cause.
I just thought this would be a really cool thing and I am considering attempting to write a fic about but we’ll see. This could also be added into if Dorcas was confirmed to be Edward’s bastard daughter (as some theories suggest).

She’d never forget the look in Agatha’s eyes, the feeling of knowing you’d be killed by someone you loved.
She’d forgiven Agatha but she’d never truly get over it, you simply didn’t get over something like that.
But the dead held no grudges with the living (or so they say).
Yet here they all stood here, gathered at opposite sides of the battlefield, trying to figure out who should be queen.
A bastard Lucifer? Another angel? Lilith?
Sure Lilith had beaten Lucifer but he hadn't killed him (her biggest mistake in Dorcas’s opinion) and now there would soon be war to decide who would sit on a throne she didn’t give a damn about.
As the metallic sound of armor clinking together as soldiers marched reached her ears from across the battlefield she winced, shifting and causing her own armor to clink together.
There was no order, no hierarchy, no real plan. She didn’t even know who’s side of the battlefield she was on, who she was fighting to put on the throne.
Thunder rolled, the rain began to pour, lighting flashing across the sky
She never saw her sisters again, despite having felt through the ever present (but thin) bond they shared that they had died.
They’d all heard of Sabrina, Lucifer, and Lilith’s imprisonment.
They’d all heard of Caliban’s promise to drive the pagans back and make Earth into the 10th circle.
For a brief moment, she’d believed, believed that he could be at the pagans that had caused her death.
He couldn’t.
He was slain within days (3) and many demons were slaughtered as they were forced back. She’d seen most of her coven slaughtered once again, only it wasn’t by poisoned wine this time.
She’d heard the first angle attack that wiped out Pandemonium and the ones that made their way to Limbo (where she’d been).
She heard the screams and smelt the burning of sizzling flesh as she ran from circle to circle, trying to outrun them (even if she knew it wouldn’t work).
Even now, as she stood before the angels, covered in mud and blood, feeling the burning pain of Holy Water coursing through her veins, the dozens of wounds that were on her body, she would stand strong. For once in her life she wouldn’t be a coward, wouldn’t fall in line with her sisters, wouldn’t fail.
(She would fail, she couldn’t beat angels).
Gripping the knife that had once taken her life, she prepared to give it her all, even if ’her all’ wasn’t really that much.
“Ready to die, witch?” One angel asked, his eyes glaring as he sneered at her, the others smirking and one grinning with malicious intent.
‘I’ve already died, I died when you killed my sisters’
As she lunged at them, knife striking the first, she closed her eyes, knowing what was to come.
She had no hope to injure them, let alone defeat them but she’d try, she would try.
A sword sliced through her vagina causing her to scream in agony as she thrusted the sword through the angel's eye, sharp nails digging into his skin, drawing the bright blue glowing blood.
Another slice of a sword that cut the feeling of her legs and a splash of sizzling water that burned the left half of her face, half her sight going black.
She felt her organs hit the cold ground of the 9th circle and before her brain had any time to process what had happened the angel she’d thrusted the knife in raised his sword and a searing pain cut through her neck before there was nothing at all.

The battle for the Throne of Hell had begun.

Okay so conspiracy theory time. I’ve seen this vaguely on the internet but I thought I would share my thoughts.
In Greendale season 4 episode chapter 34, we see these four people, Satanic Panic, who come back from the dead in what I’m assuming is around the 1970’s—1980’s, and are a band. Now I’m not the only one who noticed this I think but these band members look a lot like the Ghoulies, a Riverdale gang in the Southside.
A lot about the Ghoulies is unknown and therefore allows me to just kinda assume things. The Ghoulies dress in leather jackets, black jackets, and have lost of studs, much life we see in Satanic Panic. In addition to this, they have hair, makeup and even nicknames like the Ghoulies, and Southside Serpents do.
This leads me to believe that the Ghoulies were not founded by Malachai, the leader we see when the Ghoulies make their debut, but either a gang based out of Greendale and moved to Riverdale and vice versa, rejected Serpents, turncoat Serpents, or they just have similar styles.
The first one is where they originated from. It is possible that they were based in Greendale and somone liked their style and the Ghoulies made it there own but I’m more inclined to believe a combination of two theories. I think the Ghoulies are a older gang, not as old as the Serpents as I believe if either were as old as the other they would have wiped out one or the other, but so new like in the last 5 years. I think the Ghoulies were a gang that was started by either a turncoat serpents, like Penny, or a rejected Serpent, not sure if you can have those or not. The Ghoulie have to be at least 40 years old to be in Mr. Kinkle’s time, I don’t know how old he is or when he went to high school, and Satanic Panic were Ghoulies who moved and started a band, to possibly feel like a gang without being one, and to continue with their jackets. The Ghoulies and Satanic Panic share many similarities, like makeup, hair, clothing, and even how they talk, act, and names. FP also speaks with Jughead and Archie in jail about the Ghoulies and how they love races leading to the conclusion that the Ghoulies rose quickly because they challenged the Serpents or FP had experience in his day with them.
Of course this is all just speculation and they could be similar but I doubt it. With Greendale and Riverdale being just across Sweetwater River, it isn’t that far of a stretch to say that they may be related somehow.
