Back It Up
It is nearing the end of the third month I have actively been trying to lose the weight I gained my last year of college and into the first year of adjusting to office life. I've lost fifteen pounds so far and am currently not being so restrictive on calorie counting for a bit - too many other things as are going on right now to worry too much if I'm sticking directly to my limit, but I"m still in the "1/2 pound loss a week" zone.
I think the most frustrating thing for me right now is that my old work clothes don't fit. Many of my old clothes that were becoming uncomfortable are fitting very well now, which is great, but I bought my work clothes pre-15 pounds gone. My work pants (with the exception of the black pairs which seem to run smaller) are extraordinarily baggy to the point that I can pull them off without unbuttoning them, but they still stay up without a belt. Some of my sweaters have become oversized, which is fine for casual wear, but with work pants that are baggy in conjunction it just doesn't work. The dilemma I'm facing at this point is when do I buy new office clothing? I am still trying to lose between ten and fifteen more pounds...I don't want to buy clothing and then have to turn around and do it again when those become too baggy in a few months.
I feel pretty good about the weight I'm at right now, and I wouldn't be totally bummed if I didn't really lose much more. I'd like even five more pounds, but that's not something that would really throw me into another size down...which would mean I could replace my clothing and not have to worry about sizing down again.
At the end of the day I'm tired of wearing baggy clothing to work. I dislike clothing that doesn't fit me well (a pet peeve from my childhood of wearing ill-fitting secondhand clothing). Am I being impatient and should really wait? Or do it soon?

WHERE ARE YOU MR. PELLET MAN?
Seriously. I spent all day looking fabulous for once. Got a huge project done and in the mail. I came home with the expectation that I was going to spend a nice evening next to the fire with my honey and my puppies after a C25k run. BUT NO.
A rehearsal has my honey. My dogs are napping on the couch...and got blood from their new bones all over my cream colored carpet...again. The pellet man is supposed to have dropped 6 tons off hours ago and IS STILL NOT HERE.
So I can't do any of the things I want to do, because the minute I start doing my thing, the pellet guy will show up and interrupt me. Pelletus interruptus.
So I guess I will have to watch Pitch Perfect for the millionth time while I clean, because that's the only activity I can watch out the window while doing for the despised pellet man. The jerk.

In case anybody is curious or needs an explanation, F.E.A.R stands for Focus Sash - Endeavor - Attack - Rattata. Try it out like this:
Enter a battle with any Pokemon (preferably a high-level Pokemon so that you’re more impressed) using your Rattata, equipped with a Focus Sash, as your starter. Use Endeavor. Because of its low level, the other Pokemon will attack first, leaving your Rattata with 1 HP (because of the Focus Sash). Rattata will then use Endeavor, which brings the enemy Pokemon’s health down to 1 HP as well. Then use Quick Attack, and watch your level 1 Rattata defeat a level 70 Lugia and gain like a zillion quadrillion experience points from it.
FUCK YEAH, RATTATA

Hero Baltimore cop responds to a call about vicious dog, goes home with a new best friend
When officer Waskiewicz arrived at the scene he found the pitbull was being chased by children that were throwing glass bottles at him. The officer called the dog who quickly came over, tucked his tail between his legs and sat down next to him. The kisses soon followed.
Waskiewicz determined the dog posed no threat and placed him in his squad car.
“Because of Officer Waskiewicz’s astute response, he saved the life of an innocent animal and avoided what could have been a situation with a tragic ending,” Baltimore Humane Society Executive Director Jen Swanson said.
During the ride to the animal shelter the dog continued to kiss the officer before curling up next to him and going to sleep.
A few days later the officer returned to the animal shelter and learned the dog was not yet claimed. He then adopted the dog, whom he named Bo, and took him home.
Their story went viral thanks to a post by the dog rescue group Concrete Angels.
“So often we hear stories where law enforcement officers rush to judgment with violent action,” Swanson said. “But when Dan Waskiewicz answered the call he first observed the situation calmly before he acted. We believe he deserves high praise and is truly an asset to the animals and citizens of the city he serves.”
Waskiewicz was honored by the Baltimore Humane Society.
He was also featured in Baltimore’s Show Your Soft Side campaign, which made its debut after animal abuse crimes occurred in the city, some committed by children. The campaign features athletes and celebrities cuddling beautiful dogs and cats with the tagline, “Only a punk would hurt a cat or dog."
While we do believe that a punk is anyone who hurts any animal and not just dogs and cats, we also believe that Officer Dan Waskiewicz is a true example of what every cop, man, and human should be.

What happens to liquids, specially colored liquids, when stressed by Music?
In this photographic experiment, a loudspeaker has been covered with a balloon to create a surface into with then some liquid paint has been poured. The loudspeaker is connected to an iPhone, and when the music hits the speaker, the liquid starts to dance to the music. Then, a kind of magic the human eye can’t see starts.
