the issue with hating on millennials or “millennial core” isn’t just that ur being a bitch for no reason, it’s when people specifically point out adults with extreme interests like harry potter or disney or something along those lines. I will say that it is valid to make points about the problems with millennial humor and infantilism (of themselves or others) and other aspects that are just inappropriate or rude but when you dumb it down to JUST “this person is obsessed with ___ and it’s weird and childish” is when the comments start to feel ableist… the reason it’s so common for millennials to be crazy about disney or star wars or something is because that’s what was popular when they were kids-young adults and its VERY likely that most of the time the “crazy harry potter fan” that you decided to shit on is just an autistic adult enjoying their special interest. Im completely sure that gen alpha will see gen z the same way in a decade or so. Gen z is crazy about cringe culture being dead until its abt millennials 😭 some of u guys need to SERIOUSLY realize that your words might not be just affecting one person, but also an entire neurodivergent community.

TLDR: leave the autistic millennials alone when they r just doing what makes them happy gen z
