Whatever one's opinion on Israel, politically, morally, or otherwise, and of their inclusion in Eurovision, it really does take a special kind of arseholery to abuse, hate on and boo a survivor of a massacre, a very young woman who hid under the dead bodies of her friends for 8 hours and still has shrapnel embedded in her body.

That she is standing strong today, proudly singing about hope overcoming trauma and darkness on a stage in front of an audience who hates her for nothing that she is guilty of is a testament to her.

As for me, I will be cheering her on ❤️🇮🇱
