I don't want to clutter my art accounts with hsr spam so I've made a side acc for that since I've been really into that game lately and need a separate place to whine about it + talk to people. Feel free to follow 🕊️ https://x.com/your_whitesilk

heyo! i hope you're well! thank you for sharing your reca art with us!! i was wondering if you'd be interested in sharing some of your reca headcanons? O:
Hello! Thank you so much for asking — I'm more than happy to share... Here are some of my favorites:
Reca loves dancing and can casually initiate it with people around when he’s joyful or excited.
Wears a yellow socks-and-garments combo.
He’s had grey hair since he was little and was bullied because of it. However, that wasn’t the only reason — he was generally considered a weird kid and an outsider. He could often be seen playing with and talking to frogs and other little creatures by the nearby lake.
The many unfortunate events of his youth are the reason he became so extravagant, a bit unhinged, and eventually, a memokeeper.
Despite his fame as a director, Reca still feels very lonely. His only close friend is the Assistant Director — he made her himself to cope with the loneliness.
He has great talent in directing, but he also doesn’t hesitate to use his pretty privilege when needed.
He’s one of the few memokeepers who got romantically involved with a human. It ended really badly, and Reca never tried that again.
Generally Reca is a very flirty guy :)

Greetings!
Your art is very lovely! I am huge fan of classical art and history as well and your artworks are so inspiring! The mediums that you use are so beautiful and the the way you capture winter landscapes is absolutely stunning, it is such an under appreciated season but your art captures it so well!
I’m also a big fan of GK, and I am so in love with the way you draw Ogata, you do such a great job of capturing his likeness and he almost seems so fragile in your works it’s so gut wrenching how his story ended but that seemed like the only thing left for him, which is what makes his character so devastating,, it makes me so sad I just want to hold him. Anyways, you’re amazing and have a wonderful day!
Cheers! ☆ (^-^)
Hello, thank you for your message! Hearing that my work inspired someone is always so heartwarming! I feel truly honored.
My approach to painting winter is different from any other subject; it's born from great love and, thus, a great fear of losing it. I have this fear that one day I may never see frosty ornaments on my windows in January again because of how much warmer winter has become, and it affects me greatly. You can consider my works as love letters to this season, and I hope that I can stir this love for it in others with my art. I could talk about my relationship with the coldest seasons all day if no one stopped me :—)
You're absolutely right about Ogata! I have similar feelings. It actually took me quite a while before I became somewhat content with the way I draw him — it was difficult to capture such a complex character.
Have a good day ❤️🌹

words can’t express how much i love your art!! your artstyle has a soft, almost nostalgic feeling to it, i can’t even begin to express how skilled you are 🫶
out of curiosity, what are some artists that inspire you? or just some that you enjoy seeing the works of ^^
Thank you! 💕 I'm really glad to be able to evoke such feelings in you with my art. Themes like nostalgia and vintage aesthetics are very dear to me, and it looks like I'm subconsciously transferring them into my work.
As for my favorite artists, I love Mykola Tolmachev, Andrew Wyeth, Yoshitaka Amano, shanyeyuri... Takatora's early Touhou works had a great impact on me when I was at the beginning of my artistic journey.
However, my biggest and everlasting inspiration is Gustav Klimt. I often reference his works and sometimes create direct homages. I think my art overall tends to lean towards Art Nouveau, especially the Vienna Secession movement.

Hello, I apologize if you’ve answered this already but how did you get into Golden Kamuy and what drove you to gravitate towards Ogata as a favorite? (I’m assuming this so apologies if I’m wrong).
Hello! I started watching/reading GK because of the historical themes and - most importantly - the winter, the mountains, Hokkaido… About Ogata: Tragic characters usually are always my faves. However, what got me the most about Ogata is the opportunities he recieved to redeem himself throughout the story, and how he rejected each one of them. Not because he is dumb or something like that, it's for another reason which I can understand but can't put into words in the right way… I think internally Ogata has always craved love and understanding, and maybe even knew he could get it, but choose to proceed on his self-destructive way. It's irrational, but things like that really do happen a lot in life. That's the thing that interests me the most about him. I also can't shake off the feeling that deep down he knew right from the start how it would end. Thank you for such an interesting question. Have a nice day!
