"Oh, since you asked so nicely. I would love to see your face before I have the pleasure, though. Why don't you come out of hiding, amour? No reason to be shy."

Silas could be accused of being a hopeless romantic in ways. He loved the beauty in things, the feeling of romance. Maybe it was because he was French, maybe it was because he was an artist. Whatever the case, most people didn't complain about him being so personal even on their first meeting. He was happy to hear that Kami approved of his choice of movie. Honestly, anyone who didn't was not someone he wanted to associate with. "I'm happy to know you have good taste." He said playfully, releasing the link between their arms as they came upon the theater. It really was a lovely sight.
"Isn't it thrilling? I would spend every night here if I could." Unfortunately, other people reserved the beach theater regularly. It was a popular place and Silas was lucky to have gotten a night to himself and his newfound friend. "Of course. There's no one I would rather spend this night with." As crazy as that may have sounded, it was completely authentic coming from Silas. He'd made up his mind that he wanted to watch a movie with Kam, so that's all he wanted to do now. "What snacks would you like, mon amour? We still have a little time before the show to prepare ourselves. So I must know..." Pause for dramatic effect. "Are you a chocolate or sour candy kind of man?"
Kami looked extremely fascinated by the Frenchman, interested in the fact that he seemed to really enjoy the romance of things. The little details of a date that made it so exciting. Kam assumed he was being extra on purpose, the comment about being broken hearted and all that, but he found it adorable either way. How couldn't he when the man looked like that?
"I love The Princess Bride!" The cook looked even more excited now, squeezing his arm around the other male's as he was lead to the theater. He had yet to experience the magic of this outdoor movie spot just yet, but it was just as magical as he imagined it would be. "Holy shit!" Kami let go of Silas so he could walk around and check it out. He was naturally curious, like a cat smelling everything in the room curiously in a new environment. "This..." He turned around, gesturing at his surroundings with a nod. "Is some cool ass shit. Thanks for inviting me."

Silas noticed how his demeanor changed at the thought of disappointing others. "I've found that teachers rarely know what they're talking about." It wasn't his place to comment on whether or not anyone was disappointed in the lovely boy before him, but he personally was quite pleased by him already. And Silas generally considered himself an excellent judge of character. Then again, he had been completely swindled out of his shoes once by a very sweet young man. Bad choices aside, Silas was confident that this was someone he wanted to spend his time around. This was someone he wanted to get to know more. In fact, he would go so far as to call them fast friends. All you needed to be friends was something in common, after all.
Reaching up, Silas took the hand offered to him. Instead of shaking it, he turned it and brought it to his lips to press a kiss to his knuckles. "The pleasure is mine, I assure you. You've saved me from a completely wasted night of boredom, Rhett." Releasing his hand again, he returned it to the strings, humming softly in contemplation. "Let's keep it simple. Grab a guitar and sit with me." The idea of playing with someone already had a smile one his face, despite the fact he hadn't even heard Rhett play. But his instincts told him that the blonde knew what he was doing. He looked like a rockstar. So once he was settled, Silas began to play again, starting off with a repetitive riff to get them going.
He blushed a bit at the man's comment about being a talent and he shrugged a bit, "That's what I've heard." Rhett mentioned, "My teachers in school would constantly tell me about how talented I was. They'd be so disappointed if they saw me now." He laughed a bit, though it was really kind of a sad one. While Rhett enjoyed his job and really couldn't have asked for a better one in the position he had been in, he did wish that things were different (for the most part). He had disappointed just about everyone in his life and all his potential had, really, just gone down the drain. He resigned himself to the life he had now. And it was fine.
He released a soft breath, glad to hear he wasn't interrupting anything, and he smiled a bit at the man's comment, flicking his brows, "Yeah, I mean...you are correct." Rhett would never ask a client to invite him anywhere and it really wasn't his intention to pressure the other into inviting him in, let alone playing, "Oh...really?!" He asked, his eyes lighting up a bit, "I would love to..." Walking inside the studio, Rhett immediately crossed over towards the man and he held his hand out towards him with a sweet, genuine smile, "I'm Rhett, it's a real pleasure to meet you." It was. Whenever he could meet another musician, Rhett was so happy, "What do you want me to play? Pick an instrument, any instrument." He laughed.

Silas didn't realize he hadn't told Rhett about where he was from until he asked. It often slipped the Frenchman's mind to talk about his family back home, always preferring to live in the present moment and give his full attention to the people around him. "My father is Miles Duran, the director and my mother is Gisele Cadieux, the actress." Most people that watched movies would know his parents' names but wouldn't necessarily connect him to them unless they were dedicated enough to look into their offspring. Silas wasn't an actor or a director himself, so it was easy to slip under the radar. "I actually do behind-the-scenes and set photography on most of their movies. I've had a few credits here and there." It was small but something he was proud of. Any chance he got to capture those small, unseen moments was a chance he gladly took.
Happy for the change in subject, he watched Rhett go through his options. He did not envy the other, who had only a day to experience the island on this side of the fence. It was overwhelming at best, but at least he was very focused on eliminating the things he didn't enjoy or couldn't do. Silas was happy to do anything if it meant spending time with Rhett, who always kept his interest. When he finally settled on something, Silas beamed at him, clapping his hands together in an effort to dispel the blonde's immediate urge to degrade himself further.
"Food, yes, that's precisely what we need!" He agreed, putting a hand on his stomach. "There's no use trying to make a decision on an empty stomach. And now you have your choice of the delicacies offered here." Reaching over, he linked his arm through Rhett's, drawing the other boy closer to his side. Perhaps he could offer a sense of stability, security. At the risk of giving Rhett another choice, he looked at him. "What are you craving, mon ami?"
He nodded, "Of course!" Rhett grinned, "It's going to be so much fun." The two of them vibed quite well so he expected the day to be nothing but a good time. His head tilted a bit when the other spoke of coming from the world of movies, "You did?" He asked, "Like...how?" He asked with a quiet laugh. Obviously, Silas had money. He had to in order to be a client, but he didn't actually know Silas' claim to fame. If he came from a long line of actors or directors, that would make sense. And if that was the case, he was going to feel bad that he didn't recognize him sooner.
Rhett's lips pursed for a moment as he thought about the options that Silas was throwing out at him, "Well, nothing with swimming," He smiled, a bit embarrassed, "I can't swim and I don't want to drown today." Maybe another day, "Um...the gym isn't really a place I frequent either, though it does sound like a great place to be." However, it would be painfully obvious Rhett didn't know what to do in a gym. He was more of a yoga and running kind of guy. If that. He was pretty lazy when it came to that. Luckily for Rhett, his metabolism was extremely high so he just a naturally skinny guy.
"Oh, man, I don't know." He mumbled to himself, suddenly feeling overwhelmed with decision paralysis. There were so many things that Rhett couldn't do or had no experience in and the last thing he wanted was to embarrass himself, "I do love the casino but it's not like I have the money for that." Well, he technically did, but he didn't want to spend his earnings on that. Rhett could just see himself blowing it all and that would be just terrible. "We could go eat somewhere." He nodded, "That's something I can do." He laughed, "How lame is that?!" Rhett bowed his head a bit and shook his head.

For tonight's adventure, Silas had specific criteria for his company. He wanted a random staff member that he'd never met before, and so that's what he chose. He didn't bother looking at what the other man did on the island, what he looked like, or even what his full name was. All he knew was that he was called Theo and he would be meeting him at the library this evening upon his request. Silas didn't like using his privilege here to force anyone to spend time with him, so it was still up in the air if his plans would go ahead as planned, but he certainly hoped so. He hated doing things on his own.
Sauntering up to the library right on time, Silas was wearing a crop top beneath a flowing, open shirt and pants that hung low on his hips. His brown hair was completely untamed, as per usual, and he had his camera hanging around his neck. It only took him a moment of scanning the entrance to spot Theo, looking entirely out of place but clearly waiting for him. With a bright smile, Silas approached.
"I feel I've sorely underdressed." His words were teasing but all in good fun. "You look absolutely stunning, mon chĂŠri." It was much more likely that the other had been otherwise engaged in his duties before coming to meet him rather than simply dressing so fine for a jaunt around the library. But Silas would choose to think in his own mind that Theo had dressed this way solely to impress him. It was working. "Now, I've yet to step foot in this library and I have no idea what to expect. Libraries, as it turns out, are one of my favorite places to take pictures. So, I must ask, would you come exploring with me to see what we can find?" He almost batted his eyes at him. "You're free to say no. I will not hold it against you, though I may pout just a little."

Just before dinner service, Theoâs phone pinged, and a notification flashed across his screen. A client had requested him in the middle of his shift, and he was to, by all means, comply. Furrowed brows, however, met the message, given that the name of the client was not familiar to him, which only meant that he would definitely need to step up with the first impression. Aside from the unknown client, he was also to be at a place he didnât know they actually had: a library. Heaving a sigh, he acknowledged the message, and stashed his phone away, already starting to mentally prepare himself.
----
A few hours later and in the midst of dinner service, the young maĂŽtreâd had passed off the rest of his duties to his alternate, before taking off. Given the time crunch in order to comply, he had to see the client through in his self-assigned work uniform, slicked back hair and suit jacket included. Hopefully, he wasnât all too dressed for the library and for the client, though something told him he certainly would be.
Once there, Theo courteously greeted his fellow staff members who worked at the front desk. As he was a good few minutes early to the requested time, he promptly pulled out his phone while waiting, quickly going through the roster of their client list (staff access) to try to put a name to the face: Silas Duran. French. Right.
Hiding his phone by his pocket, he would proceed to wait by the front desk, poised and proper for the arrival of the client.

One of Silas' favorite things about Loren was his lack of filter and sense of humor. Every time he opened his mouth, the Frenchman caught himself smiling, and not for the typical reasons found on this island. As soon as he approached and greeted him, Silas knew he'd made the right choice in his date for the evening. Who could possibly be better to explore the coasts of the island with than Loren? No one that he could bring to mind. "Incroyable!" His excitement showed on his face and in his voice. He wasn't one to hide how he was feeling either, even if he tried to employ some tact. He wasn't the best at it.
"Oh, mon amour, I am French." Silas teased, holding a hand out to take Loren's and lead him down the dock toward their boat for the evening. "I live for romance." Bringing his hand up, he kissed the back of it just as they arrived at the end of the dock. "Allow me." Climbing onto the boat first, he reached back up and put his hands on Loren's waist, all but lifting him down into the boat with him. He wasn't sure how the other's sea legs fared but he would be careful with him nonetheless. "There we are." It was a rather large boat, one that would afford them room to walk around. But first, he led Loren to the table set in perfect position for them to see off the front of the boat. He made sure to pull Loren's chair out for him. "I hope you like pasta."
Loren was elated to say the least when he got the request to join Silas for the evening. He had always been his own worst enemy, and his insecurities were honestly about to eat him alive before the invited came to him. He knew he was different from the other guys on the island, which didnât bother him much. But the idea that he wasnât what the guys here would consider beautiful or desirable was one his mother had instilled in him at a very young age. Silasâs invitation obviously didnât magically cure all that trauma, but it definitely soothed it, and he could feel himself smiling from the inside out.
As he made his way down the docks toward the young client, he could smell the smokey aroma of nicotine lingering in the air. It made him crave the addiction, but Silas providentially deterred his hankering as his lips pressed softly to each of his cheeks. âItâs nice to see you again too, Frenchieâ he reciprocated. Blushing unabashedly as he swooned at the romance of the evening the client had planned for them. Was he interested? Oh, hell yeah he was interested. The way his eyes lit up at the idea all but answered for him verbally. âOf course Iâm interested. You had me at moonlight, baeâ he affirmed. God, he was such a sucker for romance. His cheeks were actually starting to hurt from how intensely he was smiling just at the idea of it all. âI didnât know you were such a romantic.â

Silas hadn't seen him for a minute so he was ecstatic when he came across Isaac at random in one of the outlet stores. He'd been feeling a little bored with his wardrobe and decided to go browsing for something new, something to flip that endorphin switch in his brain. Instead, he found a person who could do that instead. "Well well well, it's my lucky day." Silas smiled, pushing his free hand back through his mess of brown hair. His other arm was occupied with items of clothing he'd pulled off of racks completely on a whim. "You look like someone who knows what looks good on a man and isn't afraid to tell him the truth." That was quite the assumption, but Silas was sticking with it.
Reaching out, he took Isaac's hand in his own and began to lead him back through the store. "Come, I need you." That could not have been more suggestive, maybe Silas meant it to be. Regardless of his meaning, he pulled the other boy not only to the fitting area but inside one of the larger rooms with him. Shutting the door behind them, Silas lumped the clothes he'd picked out down in a chair in one corner and began to sort through it. "No, no, no, ah oui." Pulling out a shirt, he hung it on a hook and then dove back into the pile, pulling out a second. "Here, I think this will look perfect on you, so you must try it on." He hung it up on a second hook and then reached down to pull his shirt up over his head. "I want your honest opinion. No sugar coating it, hm?"

Silas was staring. He could feel himself staring but he couldn't find it in himself to stop staring. It's just... he knew that face. It was one he admired as a patron of the arts and someone who appreciated alternative forms of expression. While he only had a couple of small tattoos himself, he'd always dreamed of treating himself to a work of art by Zion Sakuri whenever he made it to New York. He had followed him ever since discovering one of his tattoos years ago and the craving to have something of his on his body had yet to go away. Maybe this was his chance to have more than just his work on his skin.
"Excusez-moi." Silas didn't want to interrupt him but he couldn't not introduce himself. This could be a once in a lifetime chance, after all. "My apologies, I just wanted to tell you what a big fan I am of your work." Smiling, Silas held a hand out to him. "I'm Silas Duran." That name would only mean something to someone if they kept up with the Hollywood scene and knew his famous director father and actress mother enough to be interested in their only son. Maybe Zion was one of those people or maybe it would mean nothing to him. "I'd love to buy you a drink."

Silas hated doing things by himself. Why should he ever be lacking in company in such a place as this? What he craved more than anything was someone by his side, preferably someone with a story to tell. Of all the people on this island that qualified as interesting, Loren was near the top of his list. That's why he'd requested the staff member's presence tonight. He didn't really like the idea of using his client privilege to force anyone to spend time with him, so he made sure to frame it as a request rather than some kind of order. That made it all the sweeter when Loren accepted.
Standing by the docks, Silas took another drag from his cigarette. The sun was hanging low in the sky, not yet completely set on the day, when his company for the evening arrived. The Frenchman smiled and put out the cigarette, discarding the butt. "So nice to see you again, mon chĂŠri." He greeted Loren with a kiss to each cheek. "I was hoping you would join me for dinner." An odd sentiment given where they were standing. Silas accounted for that, extending his explanation. "I've reserved a boat tour of the island by moonlight complete with a full meal and drinks, if you're interested."

Silas found Rhett's bashfulness endearing. He could watch the blonde react to him or anyone all day long and feel that it was a day well spent. A warm chuckle left him when he realized that the other had absolutely nothing planned. That suited him just fine. Silas was used to wandering aimlessly, to seeing where his feet ended him up. Sometimes no plans were the best plans. "So long as you have the power of the clover, I would love to spend time with you. If you will have me, of course." With the power of a client, Silas could only imagine there were many people Rhett would want to spend his time with, and yet here he was with him. It was extremely flattering.
"That sounds incredible." Silas agreed. "I do love movies. That's the world I come from so I'm surrounded by them constantly." He hadn't really spoken much about his family and his upbringing since coming to the island. This was meant to be a getaway, after all. "Well, this entire world has just opened up to you. Which means you can do anything you want. What have you been craving that you're not usually allowed?" Silas didn't want to choose for him. He wanted Rhett to decide. "There are the saunas, the nicer restaurants, the fabulous indoor pools and private jacuzzis. We could take advantage of the recording studio, go bowling, hit the gym and watch the other clients work up a sweat." He smiled. "Gambling in the casino? Catch a show at the strip club? Explore the playrooms?" There was more of a purr in his voice as his suggestions got spicier. "The world is your oyster, mon ami. You have but to taste it."
To be quite honest, Rhett didn't actually expect Silas to agree to join him on his little expedition on the island, but he was super excited when the man agreed. He was a client so he certainly could have said no and decided to spend the day with any other staff member. But no, he seemed to want to hang out with him. He nodded his head at the man's comment and he turned around to look out at the resort, pursing his lips as he thought about the day. To be quite honest, Rhett hadn't really thought of anything. Shit, he didn't even expect to win so he was just all sorts of out of wack.
Before he could ruminate on it too long, Silas returned and Rhett turned back around with a smile, his brows raising, "Uhhh..." He sounded before he broke out into a laugh, "God, I don't know." Rhett admitted, beginning to walks towards the multiple activities of the island, "Well, okay. I do have one idea, but it's an evening thing so I don't really know if you actually want to spend the day with me or just like...the day." Rhett pointed up towards the sun with a smile, "Because I really want to go to the beach theater. I haven't really been there yet and this really just seems like the best time, yeah?" Rhett shrugged, "Aside from that, I don't know! What sounds fun to you?! I'm really up for anything." Rhett flushed red, "I'm bloody terrible at this client thing."

Rhett was stroking his ego and Silas was all for it. He wouldn't call himself incredible but he had been told he had an ear for rhythm. That's why he loved the bass so much. It was rare to find someone else who appreciated the sound while most people immediately praised the guitar above every other instrument. Not that there was anything wrong with playing guitar, it just wasn't Silas' thing. While the blonde considered his question, his fingers began to move again, strumming a simple riff that he could play mindlessly while listening to what Rhett had to say. He couldn't stop himself from laughing gently.
"You are a talent, then." The Frenchman praised, bowing his head as if he were tipping his hat to the other man. He never really took to any other instrument himself, only doing this much in his free time. When the blonde's attitude changed to concern, Silas stopped playing again and quickly shook his head. "No no, I was just messing around for myself. I couldn't sleep and stumbled upon this place" Even though it was after hours, he couldn't help but take advantage. "I suppose while I am here, you're allowed to be here, if I invite you, no?" He smiled, pushing his fingers back through his mess of hair. "Come, play with me." A beat of silence passed before he strummed across the strings again. "My name is Silas."
Rhett softly bit his lower lip and smiled a bit, bowing his head, "Of course, I did. You're truly incredible." While Rhett loved to play guitar, he also could slap the bass pretty well as well but it wasn't really his favorite instrument to play. However, he loved to listen to it. There was just something about it. And the fact that this man was just ripping into it like a bass guitar god really got Rhett smiling. It wasn't very often he came across someone shredding on a bass. He loved it.
His smiled grew the moment he heard the others tale, "Oh, that's so lovely." Rhett loved to hear things like that. He wished he had a story like that to tell but he just taught himself after taking a few lessons. Unfortunately, his parents couldn't afford to keep having him guitar lessons so Rhett just...did it himself. He had done alright for himself, he thought. His blue eyes widened a bit at the question, even though it shouldn't have been a surprise considering where they were. "Oh, yeah. I do." He smiled, "Guitar, bass, piano, drums..." He rambled, "Trumpet, cello, violin..." Rhett then mumbled with a shake of his head, "I love to come here when I can. I mean...I'm not really allowed but you know. I'm a rebel." He joked before he looked around, "Are you recording something? Did I interrupt?!"

Silas was so happy when Kami agreed to his idea and it showed in the way his face lit up. He already felt in good company. Something about the other felt like a kindred spirit. âAny favorites? Iâll make sure to acquire them.â Silas wouldnât have a movie any other way than with all of the fixings. Popcorn, candy, drinks, the works. Arm in arm with his new acquaintance, he led them toward the beach theater. It was easy enough to lead someone who had their head so far in the clouds.
âSilas.â He introduced himself in return, unable to stop from smiling at the otherâs question. âMy dear, you are the only one I asked. And if you had rejected me, I would have returned to my cabin with a broken heart.â Maybe that was an exaggeration but not entirely untrue. If Kami had denied him, he would no longer feel like seeing a movie at all. Heâd spend the night wondering why such a beautiful, interesting creature had turned him down. âI asked for them to play The Princess Bride. I hope thatâs okay with you. Itâs one of my favorites.â Silas was in the mood for some nostalgia, something familiar and comfortable. And he was in the mood to share that feeling and see what it turned into. Hopefully his guest wouldnât oppose.
Kami never knew what to expect on this place. He was well aware that he may not be what a lot of these men were looking for, but then of course there were those who looked at him and immediately needed to know more. They might regret it once they did, Kam was like a fucking alien, but it's not like most guys here cared about what he said.
The young chef lit up with a smile when Silas approached him to ask for a little movie date, something that Kam would have also picked to do for himself if given the opportunity. "You got me with snacks." Kami went for the other's arm, looping his own through the Frenchman's as they walked towards the theater. Or at least, he thought this was the right direction. If it wasn't, he guessed Silas would let him know. "I'm Kam. And, I need to know if I was the first one you asked so I can feel important."

Silas couldn't help the grin that grew on his lips at the same time as Rhett's. The other boy's smile was infectious. They hadn't known one another very long but Silas would still consider Rhett his best friend on the island. They had a lot in common and he always felt good with the other around. That made it all the better when the blonde informed him that he had won one of the clovers from the St. Patrick's Day hunt (Silas hadn't really done much looking himself) and wanted to bring him along on his grand adventure for the day. Well, color him flattered.
"A whole day with you on this island paradise doing whatever we please? How could I say no to that." Silas chuckled at the way Rhett postured, looking like some kind of super hero here to save the day from boredom. "Just give me a moment." Ducking back into his cabin, Silas grabbed his key, his phone, and his shoes, slipping them on as he came back to the door. "Ready! Where are we off to first?" This was Rhett's special day, so Silas would follow his lead. He had a feeling the blonde had a better idea of where to find fun in this place than he did anyway.
It was probably pretty weird that a staff member was going out of their way to visit a client at their cabin, but it was pretty common for Rhett, honestly. He would go and visit anyone. He was always looking for some type of company. And today was, really, no different. Except for the fact that he had access to whole ass island and wanted to share that time with someone fun. And who was more fun than Silas? They had plenty in common too so he figured that it would quite fun.
A pleased grin immediately crossed his lips the moment he saw his friend and he stood up straight, "Good morning, darling." He spoke, "Or...afternoon?" Time was a weird soup of the island, "Take a lucky guess at who was a lucky winner of the clover hunt." Rhett stood up a bit taller and placed his hands on his hips, triumphantly, "And guess who is here to bring you along for the adventure?" Again, he adjusted posture and grin, raising his brows, "What do you say?! Let me treat us this time." He laughed.

Oh this one thought himself funny. Silas would be lying if he said that attitude wasn't somewhat of a turn on. He didn't let that show on his face, though, keeping the same cool smirk he always did. As the other boy flexed for him, Silas tilted his head in appreciation. He really was something to behold, a specimen in his own right. It was difficult not to find someone that took care of themselves so well, someone that looked like him, beautiful. Silas licked his lips, moving his gaze from his body to his face when he spoke again.
"I assure you I am good at what I do." He laughed, standing from the bench he had been sitting on to come closer. "I specialize in the male form, bringing out the best in every body. Though, with a subject like you, that's not very difficult." Smiling, he considered the other's deal. It certainly would be one way to spend the day. And he hadn't been able to do any actual shoots since arriving. "Those are just words, no? I'd much rather show you what I can do. So you have yourself a deal."
He reached a hand out to shake on it. "I'm Silas."
- âďź-
"No, I was talking to the red head with big tits standing behind you." Cael deadpanned. The sarcasm didn't last long though; there was no reason to hide behind it when the man was complimenting him so easily.
Licking his lips before they broke into a wide, cocky grin Cael set his things down and turned to the side as he twisted his right arm causing the muscles to constrict and flex-- he was clearly showing off-- as the man mentioned taking photographs of him from every angle.
"You don't have to apologize," he answered with an approving nod of his head, "You're right, and you clearly have good taste. You know I was going to go for a swim but if you've got nothing else to do... how about we make a deal? I'll let you take photographs of me, from whatever angle you want, and you can keep them for yourself as long as I get a copy of them too. Wouldn't hurt to start building a portfolio, especially if you're good at what you do."
