Hey (with the intention of cutting up and sugaring strawberries to share with you)

some cereal thoughts:

-rice krispies with banana becomes slop if you take more than thirty seconds to eat it. meanwhile, rice krispies with strawberry makes me feel like I'm eating tangy sand through the last bite. whatever, love me some krispies.

-oreo cereal was an S-tier dessert. they were Os and now they're puffs with marshmallows, and I think they were better as Os. legit tasted like the cookie, great texture from creme specks. meanwhile, puffs have the taste of oreo lacroix.

-cinnamon toast crunch is better dry, but there's no good method of snacking on it that way. you either get sugar fingers or you're eating dry cereal with a spoon, and that just feels wrong.

-there used to be a "strawberry yogurt" flavor of cheerios, where did those go and why did they leave me

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Something I'd like to do again in the upcoming year is get involved with my community and live my passions!

In 2024, I had a gig as a music director at a local theater. Honestly, it was a dream come true and sort of reignited me as a musician and a person. Fingers crossed I'm doing it again!

My boyfriend was showing me his cat and I leaned over to kiss the cat on his soft little baby head and he went "meow" and scrambled away because I'd been wearing my headphones and I accidentally jabbed him with the microphone.

i genuinely think ocd is incredibly underdiagnosed bc i will see people posting what are obvious rituals, compulsions, intrusive thoughts, spiralling, hyper morality, etc and its like Have You Considered This Might Be An Issue

i think "it takes a village" shouldn't be just "to raise a child". we should understand it takes a village to do literally everything we do. all day every day. without our communities we would not have drinking water or electricity or clean streets or food or shelter or anything. we cannot do any thing alone. we just can't. and with that comes the fact that you are not alone. you already have a community, seek to be an active part of it, you will feel better. reach out and thank them, they're happy to have you too. i promise. it takes a village to live.
