when we talk about lesbophobia, it is a constant. lesbians are constantly and consistently oppressed by society due to their lack of attraction to men. the moment you pivot away from the life of servitude [to men] society has prescribed to you, you are punished.

bisexuals dont even experience opression based on their identity, they just experience homophobia or lesbophobia based on how they are perceived by society and the relationships theyre in.
at the most, the girlies would experience IPV at the hands of a man, but that's it and thats not a specific facet of oppression. that is to say, biphobia does not exist, it is merely a term bisexuals created amidst them leeching off the community for social capital and brownie points.

explain your gender in 10 words or less without using boring words like “male”, “female”, “nonbinary”, “masculine”, “feminine” or “androgynous”.

Normalise letting men know that they are the majority of rapists, murderers, and violent criminals. Quit claiming “humans are so evil” when it’s just one specific demographic.

It doesn’t happen like that. You don’t just wake up one day and find that everything has worked itself out. You must get out of bed, morning after morning, and make a conscious effort to control the circumstances of that given day. You must learn to handle your issues with grace because you respect what they are attempting to teach you. You must drown your insecurities slowly, one self-realization at a time. You must allow yourself to feel the fear bubbling just beneath your skin but you must never allow it the satisfaction of crippling you; grit your teeth and march on. You see, they never tell you how hard these things will be. This fight to reclaim yourself is not easy or straightforward but, my god, is it necessary.

I really wish butchhood wasn't conflated with being a protector so much, honestly.
I'm a very vulnerable butch. I'm chronically ill, invisibly physically disabled, and have a lot of mental health issues. My masculinity doesn't inherently make me more strong or powerful.
But there's a huge amount of butch culture built on butches being protective of femmes, or just being strong and working in very physically laborious jobs. It feels disheartening to be locked out of a major part of my culture, just because I'm disabled.
So here's to all the disabled butches who want, or are expected to, be strong because toxic masculinity has taught us the mascs are the protectors, but we can't be.
We're the ones who need people to slow down for us. We're the ones who need to sit down and catch our breath after walking a bit. We're the ones who need help. And that doesn't make us any less butch.

“Loving stone”
I have only recently come to know myself as a high femme and the label feels like home. It is beautiful to love eachother for- not in spite of- sexual boundaries. wanted these two to look like they were sculpted from marble -get it? stone.
