"As the witch's necklace, Crimson Heart, came into the girls' possession, their fate was set on a course into the Unknown!"

When releasing the Crimson Heart Character Photos, the description also revealed that Crimson Heart is a title that refers to the magical necklace itself! In the pictures the object is worn by Chaewon but it seems that the necklace originally belonged to a witch. This also matches the lyrics of Impurities:

"Want it more like a witch Show you the real me the light growing dark red Intensely sparkling glittery things"

The photos' description also mentions the Unknown, which seems to be a mysterious location outside the borders of Refugia.

According to the 2021 HYBE Briefing, the Unknown is also a magical location, which is something that can potentially explain Eunchae's animal ears and possibly Yunjin's glowing eyes. So far, however, we know that 4 out of the 5 characters - Joann, Senna, Yozeh, and Dahvi - are originally from Refugia, meaning that only ONE character is actually from the outside world! Will the outsider be Eunchae or Yunjin's character? :) Personally, I'm betting on Eunchae but we'll have to wait and see!

These two are both from the Twitter page for &TEAM’s original story, Dark Moon: The Grey City

They confirm the theory that this takes place before the ENHYPEN vampire story in the same universe, Dark Moon: The Blood Altar.

It also shares a lot more about the setting of the world…! Do you think this becomes the Sunshine City..? Or do they eventually move away from the city..?

We just got 5 more images from the Crimson Heart Twitter page that features the Le Sserafim girls as their characters in Crimson Heart! It seems Chaewon has the crimson necklace we see in the logo, but notably also Eunchae is likely one of the characters from outside of Refugia, as she seems to be some sort of cat girl? 👀

What are your thoughts? Crimson Heart drops its first chapters on Nov. 25th! (Webtoon, wattpad, same as the other Hybe original stories!)
