In my break from Tumblr, I completely forgot that rarepair week is usually this time of year!
If I ran another rarepair week in around a month or two to give people time to create things, would anyone participate? Like this post if you’d want there to be another K Project rarepair week in 2019 so I can gauge how much interest there might be, and please spread the word!

Friends, A TodoMomo Oneshot
“It’s snowing! It’s snowing!!” Uraraka Ochaco pressed her face against the glass of 1-A’s classroom. Most of the other classmates followed suit, watching the first few snowflakes fall and hit the ground. It had been a few weeks after the whole 1-A vs 1-B battle so everyone was more or less re-energised and ready for the upcoming jolly season. Todoroki stood back as he watched his other classmates fawn over the snow. Since he has the “half-cold” quirk, he was no stranger to the snow.
“Oh, what’s wrong, Todoroki?” the class president, Iida Tenya approached and asked him.
“Nothing really.”
“If there’s something bothering you, or there’s a request you’d like to make, we could help you! We’re friends after all!” Another one of his classmates, and the vice-president of 1-A, Yaoyorozu Momo, cheerfully said, in an attempt to find out what was on her mind.
“Friends, huh?” Todoroki muttered to himself.
“It’s nothing,” he replied, as he turned to walk away while looking at the ground.
“Are you sure? You don’t seem okay! As a friend it’s my duty to-”
“I said it’s nothing!” Todoroki lashed out.
Taken aback by his sudden anger, Yaoyorozu’s eyes widened. She clutched her chest as her heart palpitated within her. The whole class has turned around and stared at the trio. Clearly they weren’t interested in the snow anymore.
“Todoroki! How could you?! Yaoyorozu was just trying to help you! How dare you treat her like this?!” Iida stood up for her. Gritting his teeth, Todoroki clenched his fist and walked off. The other members of class 1-A surrounded Yaoyorozu, comforting her by putting an arm on her shoulders or saying things like
“Why’s he such a jerk today?”
“It’s okay Yaomomo, maybe he’s just feeling unwell.”
Yaoyorozu just kept to herself though. She wrapped her left hand over her right fist and pressed against her ample chest, heart still palpitating. She cared for Todoroki, after all, he was the one that had boosted her self-esteem during the end-of-term test and they had already built a friendly rivalry. Would it always be awkward whenever they talked now? Yaoyorozu didn’t want that. After all, she considered Todoroki as a very good friend.
With hands in his pockets, Todoroki roamed the hallways of U.A. All the other students scurried about their business, carrying books and chit-chatting. Todoroki didn’t bother to even look at them though, in that moment right then and there, they were just beings that take up space. Nothing else. Suddenly, there was a ‘thump!’ followed by an ‘UwAAAH!’ apparently, he had walked right into one of his cohort mates, Yosetsu Awase. Todoroki recognized him as ‘The guy that saved Yaoyorozu that time at the training camp.’ When he visited Yaoyorozu, Midoriya and the others after the attack, he often caught glimpses of them talking. After she got discharged though, he also began to notice that Awase would often approach her for tutoring. He didn’t like that one bit.
“Ah… Hey! You’re Todoroki aren’t you!” Awase called out to him. “Geeze, watch where you’re walking, would’ya?”
“...Sorry. I was… distracted…” Todoroki replied, avoiding eye contact. As he helped Awase get back on his feet, he noticed a small pink-colored package next to him.
“That’s for Yaoyorozu. She’s been helping me so much these past few months so… I thought I’d get her something for Christmas.”
“I don’t think she’s in the mood to be happy now.”
“Huh? Why? Did something happen or…?”
Todoroki clenched his teeth. Was this guy an idiot or something?
“Just leave her alone,” he stated, before walking off.
Todoroki continued to walk around the school compound. He made an intelligent guess that most of his classmates would be at the communal spaces in the dormitory discussing him earlier situation and he didn’t want to walk in on them gossiping about him. He didn’t feel like roaming around any shopping district either, or visiting his mother since it would probably be after curfew by the time he got back to the dorm. As such, he ended up at the side of the school, where small, gentle snowflakes landed on his shoulder. Just then he’d received a call.
‘Kirishima? Why would he call?’ he thought to himself.
“Hello?” Todoroki picked up.
“Hey! It’s Awase by the way!” the voice replied. “I ran into Kirishima and asked him about Yaoyorozu. So he lent me his phone to call ya!” What did this guy want from him? Was Yaoyorozu’s attention already not enough? Had this guy had to keep talking about the one thing that he so desperately wanted?
“Anyway, I kinda heard what happened between you and Yaoyorozu. And right now she’s looking for you… so…” Just for a moment, there was silence between the two. It was pretty obvious by now that they had both liked the same girl. How is it possible to uphold a conversation with a romantic rival?
“Don’t go hurting her again, you hear me? If you do, I’ll kill you...okay?!” Afterwards, he hung up. These words hit Todoroki like a spear. He had hurt Yaoyorozu? All this time he thought that Yaoyorozu was the one hurting him. By using terms like ‘friends’ as to imply that she saw him as a ‘friend’ and nothing else. To tell everyone that she had 0 feelings for him, or to indirectly tell him that she wasn’t interested in him. But if Todoroki was right, then what does Awase mean?
“Todoroki!”
He didn’t need to turn around to recognize that sweet melodious voice that belonged to the classmate he fancied. As he took one step away from her, to create a new footprint in the soft layer of snow, she caught his attention again. This time not with words, but sniffles.
I- I’m so sorry, Todoroki…” He stopped mid-step as he listened to her drowning words under the snowy sky.
“I shouldn’t have assumed that you were sad-, I just…” Right then and there, her tiny sniffles turned into a full-blown bawl. She used her palms and covered her face, her tears flowing out of her hands as she constantly gasped for air while breathing out tears, sniffling once every now and then.
“I really care for you! Todoroki! It pains me to see you when you’re upset...or ...mad or unhappy in general!” She struggled to find words. Words that could pierce through Todoroki’s cold exterior. Words that could make him realise that there are always people around for him. Words that could open his eyes.
Seconds later, she felt what seemed like a warm blanket enveloping her. Todoroki’s strong, muscular arms wrapped around Yaoyorozu’s frame. He’d activated his quirk, just a little bit, as to keep her warm and shield her from the melting snow that could wet her clothes and cause her to catch a cold. Her eyes widened. She then hung her arms around Todoroki’s neck, nuzzling into his collarbone. Todoroki’s grip tightened. He honestly didn’t mind staying in that position forever. Taking advantage of their embrace, Todoroki spoke softly into her ear.
“Yaoyorozu, I- I’m sorry too. I’m sorry for hurting you. I… Sometime ago, I fell for you. But I didn’t really say anything. So when Awase and you became better friends, I was jealous.”
Todoroki gulped.
“I’m sorry. I’ve became greedy. I don’t want you to just see me as a friend. I want you to see me as so much more. I- I’ve really fallen for you, Momo.”
Yaoyorozu released her arms and pulled back to look at Todoroki’s embarrassed face. Like always, he avoided eye contact with her. Her hand reached out and cupped the left side of his face. Her gentle fingers glided over his scar and curved over his earlobe.
“I’ve fallen for you too, Shouto. Ever since the end-of-term test,” She looked like she wanted to say something else, but her confession was enough for Shouto. His right hand slid behind her head and he pulled her in for a kiss.

In Their Shoes, A TodoMomo Oneshot
It seemed like a regular day for Endeavour. He had been out patrolling with Hawks since morning and nothing much has happened, so they split up for the moment. Usually he’d be with his son, Shoto. However, today Shoto had to take a leave of absence as his wife, Momo, was three months pregnant and had to go for a doctor’s visit.
Endeavour had never really approved of Momo. While she had came from a good family and had a good quirk, Enji felt as though Momo was a bad influence to Shoto. For example, they hadn’t even gotten married yet and she was already pregnant. Though the child was conceived on the night that Shoto had proposed to her, they had decided to put off the wedding as a tight gown may not suit well with her growing baby bump.
In truth, the only reason why Enji hadn’t really objected to anything verbally was because of Rei. He would probably try to scare Momo after giving birth or something though. He was still a father after all. He knew that it was hard for a woman to go through pregnancy and it would probably be even harder if one had to go through it alone.
All of a sudden, screams and shouts were heard. Glass broke and people were running everywhere. Enji dashed to the scene, only to see a typical robbery scene.
“Hold it right there! It’s either you or this litlle guy right here.”
The perpetrator had cocked a gun to his hostages’ head. This time however, the hostage was a baby wrapped in its’ blanket. Enji hesitated for a bit. He couldn’t use his flames, it would injure the hostage. Even though he was the number one hero, there are situations that he clearly didn’t excel in. Through the earpiece in his ear, Hawks had called him.
“Hey Endeavour! Seems like there’s a chain of bank robberies all round the district. You take care of the ones close to you. I’ll be 2 streets west and Kamui Woods is up north.”
That information just made it worse for Enji. With multiple attacks at once, there was hardly a way for him to make it out of this situation easily with everyone alive.
“There’s gotta be a way...” he thought to himself.
Just then, the perpetrator leapt towards him. Instantly, he covered himself in fla-
He couldn’t do it. He couldn’t risk hurting a 3month old fetus. As such, he got punched in the face, right at his eye with the scar. It was relatively brutal. He didn’t fly back or anything, but landed with a ‘thump’. However, he never really felt himself hitting the floor. The pain that was supposed to be at his eye also disappeared. He blinked a couple of times, only to see that his whole perspective had changed. Lying on the ground was his own body, in what seemed like deep sleep.
Looking to his up, he saw the perpetrator smirking. Clearly this guy had done something. Was his soul placed in that of a doll? No, the body he was in was definitely real. Could it be...? He had switched bodies with that child? He wanted to shout at the perpetrator but all that came out was an ear-piercing cry. In his body, the voice box had yet to develop. Just then, he had heard the perpetrator grunting.
“...Got ya.”
Enji recognized that voice as his youngest sons’. Shoto had used his ice quirk to freeze the perpetrator in place when he was distracted. His whole body from the neck down was meticulously frozen, with the exception of the arm carrying baby Enji too. Looking at the direction of his son in pedestrian clothing, he saw his soon-to-be-daughter-in-law behind him, along with the police. Members of the legal force approached the perpetrator and separated him from the hostage.
“Hey... what do we do with Endeavour?”
“That was a pretty nasty blow, he’ll feel it when he wakes up.”
“Just let the paramedics do their job. They’ll escort him to the hospital. Mr Shoto, as his som you’ll be going with him correct?”
In a disgruntled voice, Shoto looked to the floor and said
“Can we not...?”
“Shoto, he’s still your father so I don’t think it’s right for you to just leave him in the hospital like this. We’ll just be there till Fuyumi or Natsuo is there okay?” Momo smiled warmly, placing a hand on his shoulder. Even though Momo knew she was disliked by Enji, she still cared for him. She really was an angel with a heart made of gold. Shoto looked at his fiancée, smiling back at her before holding her hand.
“Along with other victims of this incident, they should be awake in one or two days.” The doctor had told Shoto and Fuyumi. “Including your father.”
Shoto nodded and proceeded to look at his sister.
“Why don’t you and Momo head on back first? I’ll be here with him. Mom & Natsuo are dropping by later too so leave him to us!” Fuyumi reassured her younger brother. He nodded again.
“By the way Mr Shoto... the only victim that’s hardly, well, affected, is that baby that was taken hostage. With the lack of manpower and chained robberies, may I trouble you to take care of the child for awhile? At least until his mother regains strength. She has already consented to it.”
As always, Shoto was persistent against such a request. Firstly, hospitals understaffed? He also couldn’t just take home someone’s child. Even though he was in the top 20 heros of the semester, he had a 3-month pregnant fiancée he should be taking care of, not someone elses’ child! But after pleadings of the Doctor, his sister and approval of his fiancée, they took Baby Enji home.
“Are you sure we can really do this?” Shoto asked, placing down the baby’s basinet on the kitchen table with Baby Enji inside. Strangely enough, he could hear what they were saying.
“I don’t think we have a choice,” Momo replied with her usual warm smile. “Besides, it would be ‘a good practise round’ for this one here,” she said, placing a hand on her baby bump.
“Get me out of this body right now!! I’ve better things to do than just sleep and eat all day!” Enji screamed. However, what came out was only high-pitched cries.
“Is he hungry?” Shoto asked.
“Maybe. I’ll prepare the milk bottle first.”
“What am I supposed to do then?”
Once again, Momo just gave that warm smile. Shoto grew up in a bad childhood, mainly knowing pain and anger. And he was the youngest child. He didn’t know how other parents would take care of their children. Confused and slightly robot-like, he picked up Baby Enji from the basinet.
“There...there...” he attempted to comfort, while holding Baby Enji in his arms. Enji, still crying and shouting, managed to look up at his son. Shoto was clearly bad at being a father. Every few seconds he’d look at the direction of the kitchen and ask what to do next or when Momo could take over. Enji then compared himself to his son at that moment.
‘Ah, I was like this before.’
It was when Rei had just given birth to Fuyumi. She was in confinement and all their relatives pushed Enji to be a father. So, one day when Fuyumi was crying, he had to pick her up and comfort her. And like Shoto’s current situation, he had constantly worried if he was doing something wrong. But unlike Shoto, he had a normal childhood and knew the meaning of love since he was a young boy. Clearly, Shoto had to learn the meaning of love on his own, and maybe... just maybe... it was his fiancée the taught him what love truly meant.
He then thought to himself, ‘How many years has it been since he’d done something like this?’
‘Like this’ in reference to taking care of his children not picking up a baby and cuddling it. In his own body with that bulky stature, it would be creepy or he’d probably crush the fragile newborn into pieces. He knew he was a bad father, separating his children based on strength and putting his own wife, the mother of his children, in a mental asylum for a decade or so. He’d already spent the past 4 years trying to repent his sins but it may have been too late. He had affected his childrens’ lives badly already. So much so as to lose one (a/n: temporarily who knows it depends when you’re reading this 🤪🤪)
“See, you’re doing great! He already stopped crying,” Momo had came back from the kitchen with a bottle of milk in her hands.
“Ah...so he did...” Shoto replied with what could be implied as a surprised face.
“I knew you’d make a good father!” Momo said, handing Shoto the bottle. He looked away, avoiding eye contact. Clearly, Shoto was still kinda shy about it. Baby Enji looked at Momo, that warm smile still on her face. Why did his son choose this woman of all people? He would have preferred it if he could have chosen his best son’s soulmate. Wait... fathers don’t do that. At least, Enji’s father didn’t. The quirk marriage was based on Enji’s own accord. Baby enji watched as Momo put a hand oh Shoto’s cheek and turned to look at her.
“You won’t be like him, Shoto. You would never become what you hate, or, used to hate,” Momo said to him.
“Yea... I just...” he looked down again, constantly avoiding eye contact with Momo. Still smiling, she closed her eyes and place her forehead on Shoto’s.
“You won’t deviate from the path we planned together, so don’t worry too much, okay? If you do however, I’ll always be here for you. Forever,” Momo reassured him.
“Yea...” Shoto closed his eyes too, and the both of them stayed in that embrace for awhile. That was when Enji had realized, how his ex-masterpiece learnt to love.
“Ah look, he’s quite now,”
“Yea... I guess so. Hey, Momo?”
“Yea?”
“You’d make a great mother.”
“And you’ll be a wonderful father.”
A few hours later, Shoto had received a call from the mother of the child. His aunt had drove 2 hours from Akita to take care of the child, since she didn’t want to impose on strangers. After returning the baby to the family, Endeavour had woken up to a white, unfamiliar ceiling. He had woken up and after a brief self-pat down, he had awoken in his own body. His son had made a good choice, he knew that now. He should probably thank his future daughter-in-law for helping his son.

K: Yoshino Yayoi
The following is purely fictional and from my mind. It is not canon!
*Ding!* You have received one new mail!
Yoshino Yayoi was once again, in her small room. She had recently graduated from university with a business degree and was looking for work. She hadn’t much in her resumé though. She was what one would call “average”. She didn’t specialize in anything in particular. Not especially smart as to pass with all As but she didn’t fail or struggle in any subject. She was apart of the Student Council board as her club activity and acted as the Treasurer, so she knew how to use spreadsheets and count their funds.
After graduation she went on to College and simply chose the closest one to her home before choosing a university with the same mindset. And after researching, she decided that she’d work as an officer in the government, with stable pays & days off etc. But what she didn’t expect was that she would be put in the Census Division of the Tokyo Regional Legal Affairs Bureau Annex 4, or so the email said. The office was nowhere close to her home, so after a few days of consideration, she accepted the job offer and decided to move into the dorms provided.
The email also gave her a set of directions and people to contact if she needed to, for example the dorm keeper, staff manager and Lieutenant Awashima Seri? She’d heard that Lieutenant Awashima was the second in command but why would they give her her contact information? Fortunately for Yoshino, her question would be quickly answered. Upon stepping into the female dormitory, she was greeted by a blonde-busty woman.
“Ms Yoshino Yayoi, correct?” The woman was taller than her, and had a bigger frame. Her deep, mysterious, royal blue eyes pierced Yoshino’s choco brown ones.
Yoshino gulped. “Y...yes, maam” hesitantly, she let out. Pushing a ball of air down her throat, she clenched her fists. A million thoughts went through her head, such as “Does she like me? She looks super scary...” Her eyes darted around the room, mainly because she was nervous. Partly because she didn’t know where to look. Because of their height difference, if she were to look forward, she’d be directly staring at her superior’s bosom.
“You don’t need to act so formal, you know.” Awashima’s mouth broke into a soft smile. “We’ve reviewed your resumé, and we believe that the best position for you is in the General Affairs Room, with one of the best in our organization. However, he does have some handicaps, as such you’ll be assisting him. Like a secretary.”
“I’ll do my best!”
After a tour around the premises of Scepter 4, Yoshino changed into her office uniform and entered the General Affair Room, also known as the Camellia Gate. After Awashima knocked on the door, a low voice grumbled.
“Come in.”
“Mr Zenjo, this is Yoshino Yayoi. She will be assisting you from now on.” Awashima introduced. Yoshino expected a middle, or even young aged man which was good-looking, or even average. But what she saw was the complete opposite. Zenjo Gouki was middle-aged. He was tall and muscular, strong jawline and a low voice. It was easy to tell that he wad a battle veteran. Using the information Awashima had given her earlier, plus his strong build, Yoshino couldn’t help but wonder why he wasn’t on the frontlines. At that time, a soft thing rubbed against her foot.
“Meow...” it was from a small black cat. Instead of greeting her superior, Yoshino looked down and her eyes widened and sparkled.
“A Kitty-Cat!” She smiled started playing with the cat, named Kuro. Like a toddler playing with toys for the first time or a kid getting their first pet, she immediately started playing with Kuro, and he seemed to like it.
“Looks like she’ll fit in well, I hope that she will grow well in your care.” Awashima said, before bowing and leaving. Zenjo couldn’t help but give a withered smile. Would his new assistant be like his old one?
The End, or is it really :^)
hii im starting a fanfiction series about how some characters got into where they are before the main series bc gora didnt only gave a brief summary :^)
As for case files of blue, i was forced to take a break due to finals :,D i initally wanted to continue translating but im a few thousand kilometers away from the book rn bc my stupid ass left it at home :,) there should be a new update by the end of the week though!

farmer kagutsu im dEAD
habari x zenjo living in countryside au! inspired frm the “everyone is ok” ask And what if the other s4 members come visit them xD
Imagine them living peacefully in the countryside and then Munakatakeeps showing up to bug them or Shiotsu pops by because the Minatotwins are tiring him out again with their weirdness and he needs abreak from watching the kids and Zenjoh is just like ready for Habarito tell everyone to take a hike so they can have some privacy. Sincewe’re going ‘everyone is okay’ AU maybe in this AU Habari justdecided to retire after having enough of the Red King’s bullshit andhe moves with Zenjoh to a nice house in the countryside (Kagutsu alsodecides he’s had enough of his own bullshit and abdicates too, goingto become a rice farmer somewhere in the rural part of Japan). Zenjohisn’t sure about this ‘house in the country’ thing because he thinksit’s a little dull and his skills won’t be of use here. Habariassures him that they will have plenty to do and the next day Zenjohprobably walks downstairs to see Habari wearing nothing but an apronwhile cooking breakfast, Zenjoh almost chokes while Habari waves tohim all calm because he’s probably always wanted to try the apronthing and all Blue Kings are dorks after all.
So the two of them are living happily in their little countrysidehouse spending a lot of time just idly sitting together and chattingor maybe sparring from time to time and it’s very calming. Maybe theyget a couple cats too because Habari noticed that Zenjoh seems toenjoy them and he thought it would be nice to have the extra company.Oh maybe Kusuhara shows up at some point to be unofficially adopted, like since we are talking everyone’s okay AU say he just getsinjured instead of killed and Munakata decides he has the perfectplace for the kid to recover, which is how he ends up on Zenjoh’sdoorstep. Zenjoh is ready to close the door in Munakata’s face butHabari is intrigued by Kusuhara and thinks Zenjoh might get alongwell with him, Kusuhara quickly makes himself useful helping withcooking and cleaning and fixing the computer because Habari andZenjoh both suck at that. Zenjoh does miss some of the privacythough, especially since now Munakata’s decided he has free rein tojust show up unannounced whenever he feels like it and Zenjoh doesn’tsee why Habari won’t let him punch the upstart brat in the face.Shiotsu pops by from time to time and is totally unsurprised by theclose dynamic between Zenjoh and Habari, the three of them probablyhang out on the porch drinking and talking about old times, Shiotsukeeps the two of them posted on all the stuff that’s going on inShizume and Kusuhara makes everyone some soba and they all get tochill away from the drama and chaos of the actual series happenings.

Chapter 3: The Revolutionary King (?) Part 1/3
Hidaka Akira laid on the bed, covered in a blanket but yet he still broke in a cold sweat.
“Not again.”
He was one of the only few on the frontlines that could fight for his king. There was a shortage of manpower in Scepter 4 as such, everyday, he works nearly 24/7 before returning to the pitch dark dorm with no viable source of electricity.
“Hehehehehehe.”
The candle flickered in the darkness. It wasn’t the sound of a mouse or a cockroach. It was a shadow in the shape of a young girl. Retreating like a tortoise into its shell, he hid in his blanket. The cry of a girl could be heard yet again. Covering his ears with his hands, he felt someone touched his back. “Hey, do you hear me? Why don’t you care now that I’m back? Come’on, play with me!” In a last ditch attempt to get rid of the “ghost”, Hidaka chanted and recited phrases from the bible.
“It’s not real!” He told himself.
Every night, he constantly heard eerie and busy footsteps. A pungent smell filled the area and it was as though he was a protagonist in a horror flick. His room seemed to be a hotspot for paranormal activity. No matter what talisman, burning of incense or chanting he did, the “ghosts” didn’t disappear. With the “paranormal activity” going on around him and the disappearance of the other squad members, his stress piled up.
It was a sensitive topic in a sense and no one would believe him even if he talked about it. Just like a kid telling his parents about monsters in his closet or under his bed. He tried sleeping with other members in their rooms but the “paranormal activity” wouldn’t stop. As such he came to a conclusion.
He was being haunted.
The bed rocked at night and moaning of girls, boys, men and women of all ages could be heard.
“I’ve hAD ENOUGH IF THIS! SOMEONE SAVE ME!!”
At this moment, a knocking could be heard. As the door creaked open, a figure emerged.
“Scuse me?”
Turned out, it was his superior and the Captain of Scepter4, Munakata Reisi. He was donned in casual clothes with a helmet-light on his head and a backpack. Hidaka felt as though he had met an idol for the first time. Or as if an angel had appeared.
“Is this the correct lightbulb?”* “Ahhh... yea i think it is.”
With that, Captain Munakata was about to leave the room.
“Captain! Where are you going?!” “To fix all the problems. Just listen to the next set of instructions.”
As he left, Hidaka felt as though the burden had been lifted and the “paranormal activity” had disappeared. Seems like Captain Munakata’s presence was stronger than any “ghost” in the world. He could finally get a good night’s rest.
Daiki Fuse stood on a cliff, skipping rocks into the ocean. He shouted and screamed, feeling lost in the great ocean before him His phone was unusable and no matter how much he shouted, no one could hear him. He was stranded on an island. He knew that it was impossible to swim back to shore, even though they had went through relentless beach training by Lieutenant Awashima. With the distance and his stamina, he would never make it. Even with a life jacket or a bouy. His experience in fishing taught him that the ocean is dangerous and swimming in its tough currents could easily sweep him away. After what had seemed like a shipwreck, Fuse had found a chest. With it, every amenity that could keep him alive. Ranging from tents and sleeping bags to beer, wine and underwear.
Here’s the first few pages :,,) Ive had this book for about 2/3 years now and yes my lazy ass didn’t bother translating till now :,D its written in traditional chinese and i suck at basic chinese already but my aunt majored in chinese history or smth so ill probs be uploading snippets day by day then compiling everything eventually. pray for daily updates orz :,D
Page 114 - 125
At the side of no man’s island, there where temporary toilets and many sources of entertainment, such as movies and PS4s. There was also a box filled with PSPs and Gameboys and other handheld consoles. It seems that someone had known he was going to be there and had prepared the island just for him.
Fuse thought to himself, “Looks like I’m in a trap... Well if I have too, I’ll drink muddy water and eat raw fish just to get out of here!”
There was a sign in the corner that said
‘The best camp spot is right here.’ The sign said.
Fuse thought of this whole trap as insulting however, he wanted a real challenge, not a paradise.
As such, he made a tank and formed it into a round ball with a cooler compartment for food.* He looked into the horizon and examined the sea. Well prepared, he jumped into the ocean and swam. However, after what seemed like hours of strenuous swimming, there was no sign of shore.
Frustated, he shouted “GODAMNIT!!!”
He splashed the surface of the water around him. All of a sudden, a motor could be heard. Fuse cried for help. He thought that it was a fishing boat at first, however, as the boat got closer, a bespectacled man with a miner’s hat leaned over the boat.
It was Captain Munakata.
“I’ve come to get you.”
Fuse chuckled to himself,
“Don’t cha think you’re too late?”
Fuse got onto the boat and dried himself off with a towel. It was in fact, a squid fishing boat. It wasn’t a big fishing boat and in the captain’s cabin, the Captain Munakata was chewing gum.**
“Fuse, its not like you to have jumped into the ocean. Were you that desperate?”
“I wanted to lure who the guy spying on me was.”
“That’s not wrong.”
With this compliment from the captain, Fuse felt a sense of security. Fuse had the right instinct, and that made him feel comforted.
“That island had everything for me. I can’t believe it.” Fuse felt super offended. *
“They tried keeping you on that island, Daiki-kun. By monitoring you on that island with CCTV cameras and with actual people watching you, they kept an eye on you. That’s what you think right? That you wanted to lure them out yes?”
Fuse nodded.
“Both you and I have the same thinking... if there was someone actually watching you, you came up with the best plan and found a way out.”
Fuse felt embarrassed yet proud.
“I’m more than happy that you personally came to fetch me, Captain Munakata.”
“While you may feel very fatigued, I urgently require your help. We meed everyone in the Special Forces to restore order and name to Scepter 4. Would you assist me?”
Fuse didn’t reply. However, he stood in attention and saluted to Captain Munakata.
“Captain! You don’t need to ask for my help. I will gratefully follow you without hesitation!”
Yuujiro Benzai was in a quaint town by the seaside. 11pm at night, he sat at the police station drinking instant coffee. He had been in this town as he was chasing a thief-strain. This “thief-strain” was Takeshi Tamada, aged 26. He was not employed. Benzai was sure that Tamada was hiding nearby. Benzai had a car ready to catch him.
The town was rather sub-urban, it wasn’t modernized and was rather rural, filled with grass and small wooden buildings. It was possible that Tamada was hiding in an abandoned building or in a vehicle. The whole area Benzai had to cover was as big as Tōkyo, as such, he was exhausted. This town actually had a very low crime rate. Policemen at the station empathized Benzai.
“Cases like this take time, let us help you.”
Benzai actually worried alot. Firstly, Scepter 4 was in disarray. Secondly, Lieutenant Awashima had disappeared. Thirdly, his partner Akiyama was still under suspicion of molestation. Although there was no point worrying. He knew that Akiyama was innocent. Akiyama already had the best lawyer to represent him, but Benzai still wanted to help.
Tamada was like a wild animal roaming about Hōkkaido. Tamada’s case file stated that he had already stolen tens of thousands of dollars. If Tamada had just turned himseld in, his punishment wouldn’t have been so bad, however, Tamada kept running away. As though he’d committed a grave crime.
Benzai thought for a moment. He was a high ranking officer in Scepter 4, why was he responsible of catching a theif. As he decided to leave the town, he stepped out of the police station and was greeted woth a flurry of lights. Strong winds blew at him. A helicopter that had belonged to Scepter 4 was above his head. He blinked for awhile, before making sure that the helicopter did belong to Scepter 4.
As the helicopter landed, wind gushed to Benzai’s face and used his hand to try and block it. As the helicopter door opened, Benzai generally felt surprised.
“Benzai-san! I got em! C’mon pack your stuff let’s go!”
This voice belonged to his squadmate, Fuse Daiki. Next to him stood Takeshi Tamada, in handcuffs and behind them stood Captain Munakata. Still in a state of surprise, Benzai hurriedly packed his luggage and left with the trio in the helicopter.
Arriving in a helicopter felt very... odd though.** Benzai was burning with questions.
“How did you manage to catch him?”
“I know what you’re feeling now, Benzai-san.”
“Benzai-kun, what do you think about this?”
Benzai was pnce again, in a state of bewilderment.
“Benzai-kun, you ran all over Japan just to catch Takeshi-kun. What do you think you’ve been doing all this while?” ^^^^^
Benzai had alot he wanted to ask Captain Munakata. But he began to recall what he’d been doing. Benzai wasn’t a genius, nor did he have an extraordinary IQ but he meticulously thought of every detail, even the small ones. When he was in the military, he accumulated a bunch of experience as a investigator.
“This whole situation is a mess, I don’t even have to point it out, do I?” The captain said.
“A strain activity hotspot has been happening is within a 100-kilometer radius.” Benzai reported.
Fuse nodded in agreement.
Munakata Reisi was a King, selected by the Slate. And Konomura Zenichi was after his role, and the role of Scepter 4.
“There are strains in this world, and they go against our “order”(1). That is why Scepter 4 exists. For our clan to work, a King must have clansmen. And we have to maintain order in out society. But everything with Konomura, is a special case.” In a sarcastic manner, Captain Munakata said
“All these strains committing crimes... they all have a variety of motives to escape. Though all of then are everywhere, not all of them are bad. Some strains have the sudden urge to steal or commit petty theft but its not always against the law. Some of them want to escape just because they want to pray to their dead relatives or hang out with their classmates.”
“Isn’t it strange for these to happen amongst strains? Didn’t they all commit crimes? Because of that Benzai-san has to travel all across Japan. Not everything that the strains say are true though.” Fuse interrupted.
“Some of these claims have a certain degree of truth. However, there are some strains starting rumors amongst others. Claiming that Scepter 4 is currently immobilized.” Munakata said.
Captain Munakata did not go into great detail about the mastermind, but both Fuse and Benzai knew who their captain was talking about. Konomura Zenichi.
“If it was not Konomura Zenichi, there would be no one else to attack Scepter 4 like that.”
“Firstly, how did Konomura Zenichi force minor strains like Takeshi Tamada to commit all these crimes and follow him? Tamada. Why did you decide to leave capital and run here? Who asked you to do it? Were you blackmailed?”
Tamada looked up at Benzai.
“Hmph!”
Tamada turned around. That was when Tamada has realised that Benzai had an anti-social aura around him.
“I just don’t want to be with the rebellious dogs!” Tamada pouted.
Even if its Konomura, it was unlikely that Tamada would listen to him. Would it be possible that Konomura had actually bribed Tamada?
Munakata closed his eyes, thought for a moment, and then smiled.
Fuse smiled as well. He didn’t know how much of help he could be to the Captain. Benzai was very anxious to know what method Munakata Reisi had used to catch Tamada.
“I figured out the problem. As such, Daiki-Kun and I came up with a plan.”
A jolt went down Tamada’s body(2). Captain Munakata made this statement very calmly, but yet it felt as though there was a very deep meaning behind. As he began to explain the situation, Benzai, Fuse and Tamada listented intensively.
As Munakata was in the midst of explaining Konomura’s strategy, another clansmen seemed to be very unhappy.
This unhappy clansmen was Dōmyoji Andy. As of now, there were 2 departments. The PR department and the Legal department. They were currently using the Legal department to talk about Akiyama’s case, where he had allegedly molested a high schooler. But the one in charge of the legal department was Andy. Everyday after talking with several lawyers and diplomats about Akiyama’s case, he had to collect data and information before compling a report to be handed in. However, he had absolutely despised having to write reports or doing paperwork. Because of his inital mistake, he felt that he was being punished by Captain Munakata.
Domyoji felt as though that paperwork was the most boring job ever. So he had a brilliant idea. He would take a break. As he was just going to leave, his Supervisor walked in. This supervisor was none other than Fushimi Saruhiko. Carrying a paper lantern with the Scepter 4 symbol, a slouched back and glasses, he looked like a ghost.
“Who? What? Where?” (English) Domyouji’s mind blanked out and flung his arms and he started doing weird body movements, just like performing a ritual.
“Speak Japanese, idiot. And stop dancing.”
“Ah, weren’t you in America?”
“I’ve returned.”
The impression Fushimi gave off was as though he had come back just because Domyouji could not be trusted. He looked at Domyouji and then turned to the table with documents.
“Hehe.”Domyouji shrugged and gave an awkward smile.
“Why am I unsurprised?” Fushimi approached the table. “I’ll help you.”
“What can we do? There’s so many things that have to be done. Work quicker.”
“I’m sorry Fushimi-san!” He clapped his arms and bent 90degrees. “I can’t take this anymore!” Afterwards, he made haste and ran as fast as he could. Fushimi would have never imagined that Domyoji had acutally ran away from his responsibilities. He was lost for words.
“That asshole...!”
Angrily, Fushimi hunted him down and chased him. It was simple. Domyouji could run but he couldn’t hide from Fushimi.
“If you analyze the situation, the situation is actually very simple.” Munakata said.
As Fushimi and Domyoji played cat and mouse, Munakata was still explaining the idea to Benzai, Fuse and Tamada.
“The first step. Find out the truth. You have to find where the strains are and how they live on a daily basis. Benzai, please recall. How did Konomura find out what we do daily?”
Munakata took great humor in the photos that Konomura took of them(3).He shot us from fair and used underhanded methods to access CCTV footage. As such, Munakata took the information and data from electronic devices too.
“What program did he use to access this information? It was probably stolen from other sources. The whole city could have been affected.” Munakata said.
“In other words, not just Scepter 4 but every other civilian was under surveillance. Maybe I have said it before, but when Konomura sent the message to us, he could have access to the Yushiki system as well, and all the private data of each human is now accessible and defying the rights of the public. This is our weak point.”
Benzai was actually surprised. Fuse’s mouth gaped open too. Tamada examined Captain Munakata, questioning who he really was.
“I have no rights to reveal this information to you. But human rights must be protected. The only issue now is that we keep losing out to Konomura and he’s able to reach and stop them before Scepter4 can. We need to step back and reorganize ourselves and the system.”
Benzai and Fuse didn’t know how to reply. Only Tamada understood what the Captain had meant.
“Moreover, whatever method Konomura used could have been easily been applied all across Japan.”
Tamada slyly smirked at them. Konomura had carefully studied the behaviors and characters of the strain, in order to lure them to where he wanted them to be, just like moving pieces on a chess board.
T/Ns *it was unclear of what Munakata had gone to hidaka for. Something about asking for the correct hardware along those lines. also in the previous chapter he had a vintage lamp? Seems like he has a miners hat now LOL
^^at least i think he’s chewing gum, maybe a translation error.
^^^Fuse wanted a real challenge and because he was placed on an island with basic necessities he thought he was looked down upon, unlike his colleagues that was working day and night to fight Zenichi he was made to relax, or smth like that
^^^^the direct translation would be extravagant but Benzai felt more confused or compelled as to why Munakata and Fuse arrived in a helicopter
^^^^^The last statement was to prompt Benzai to think about what he was actually doing to try to catch Tamada, like what Munakata had asked Fuse earlier.
Also they kind of repeated an earlier part where Fuse and Munakata were talking about whatever was happening on that squid boat thing

Pages 166 - 185 will be Part 3
Chapter 4 is 50pages
Pages 187 - 210 will be Part 1
Pages 211 - 236 will be Part 2
Every 1 - 3 days, I’ll post a snippet 10pages (At approximately 930am SGT)
When one part is completed, I’ll complie the snippets into the parts uwu
Also i made a mistake aaAAA :,)
In the scene where Hidaka was saved by Fushimi, i read it wrongly and it was actually Munakata instead,, (the booked simply used the term “supervisor” and unlike japanese books where it’s easy to tell who’s speaking, im translating from a traditional chinese book i bought in china :,) and has had for two years but also hasnt touched it till now cough)
This scene will be corrected when part 1 is released!
Also the question mark behind “Revolutionary king” is bc im not sure how to explain those words in english so i used google translate :p

Case Files of Blue, Chapter 3. The Revolutionary King(?) Page 114-125

Case Files of Blue, Chapter 3, The Revolutionary King(?)
Pages 107-113
Come’on, play with me!”
In a last ditch attempt to get rid of the “ghost”, Hidaka chanted and recited phrases from the bible.
Fearing for his life, he curled up in a ball and tucked hid under his blanket. Hoping the “ghosts”wouldn’t get him.
“Scuse me?”
Turned out, it was his superior Fushimi Saruhiko. He was donned in casual clothes with a helmet-light on his head and a backpack. Hidaka felt as though he had met an idol for the first time. Or as if an angel had appeared.
“Is this the correct lightbulb?”*
“Ahhh... yea i think it is.”
With that, Fushimi was about to leave the room.
“Fushimi-san! Where are you going?!”
“To fix all the problems and gather the strains. Just listen to the instructions given”
As he left, Hidaka felt as though the burden had been lifted and the “paranormal activity” had disappeared. Seems like Fushimi’s presence was stronger than any “ghost” in the world.
Ranging from tents and sleeping bags to beer and underwear.
*it was unclear of what Fushimi had gone to hidaka for. Something about asking for the correct hardware along those lines. also in the previous chapter he had a vintage lamp? Seems like he has a miners hat now LOL
Here’s the first few pages :,,)
Ive had this book for about 2/3 years now and yes my lazy ass didn’t bother translating till now :,D its written in traditional chinese and i suck at basic chinese already but my aunt majored in chinese history or smth so ill probs be uploading snippets day by day then compiling everything eventually.
