fuck infantilized cas, there needs to be more weird castiel content. castiel who’s a little fucked up and unintentionally unsettling. who doesn’t blink or break eye contact. who just stares at roadkill and dead bodies they come across on hunts. give me castiel with repressed sexuality that starts expressing itself in strange ways. give me perverts by ethel cain. give me pulldrone.
he’s viewing the human experience from an unbiased standpoint. he’s a 4 dimensional being stuffed into a 3 dimensional body. he is older than humanity as a whole. Why don’t you guys make him weird?

anyways i was rewatching parts of 6x19 yesterday when looking for clips to gif and i was like. FUCK cas is so ruthless. dean is like "let me just save some kids" while cas is like "we've got bigger things to worry abt" and then cas torturing information out of some guy and coming out of the room with hands soaked in blood. RUTHLESS ANGEL. (i love him to be clear. and i Hate everyone who tries to erase this facet of his character)

@queerwolf79 asked for a Destiel version of the "I come in peace" meme and I could not resist. I love putting them in some silly little shirts, and this seemed like a fun excuse to draw endverse!Destiel.
The colour palette was inspired by the weekly prompt in @spnspeeddatingbang, I've been really enjoying their weekly prompts!

“Ever since Cas I’ve had a hard time trusting anyone” he could literally not make it sound more like a breakup if he tried

So like, much of spn is Dean trying his best to not be an angel vessel, right? And for much of the run of spn I think even Cas possessing Dean would be a tricky proposition for him.
but like…
after a certain point in canon I think if Dean were to be Cas’s vessel for [insert plot here] reasons, CAS would be the one freaking out over Dean’s autonomy and free will and all that, while DEAN is all
😊🥰
…Cas is warm like a hug and he’s here and can’t leave and I can take care of him and he can’t hurt himself to save me because if HE gets hurt I get hurt and he’s here all the time I can FEEL him this is the best we can watch all the movies together and listen to all the shows…
So Cas (and probably Sam) are like trying to scramble a way to get Cas his vessel back asap and free Dean, while Dean is like, not helping or actively slowing them down haha.
(Dean knows it’s too good to last and eventually he’s gonna miss Cas’s face to much but for NOW Deans like, luxuriating in the warm bath that is being with Cas 24/7)

Cas is worried about inhabiting the vessel of the righteous man, Michael's sword, an honor beyond compare. He feels unworthy of sharing a vessel with a soul he loves so much, that shines so bright. Mainly, he's concerned to push Dean's body to do anything, to hurt him in any way, or take away Dean's free will by even influencing his thoughts
Dean is just happy Cas can't run away anymore. Can't run from your problems if you're attached to them

I think we should have seen Castiel pushing his vessel beyond human limits in a fight. Like, in a very gory way.
Castiel not bothering to heal his vessel until after the fight is over and everyone is dead. Just imagine a man-shaped thing with a hole in its head, its guts spilling out, its ribs showing—still standing, still clutching its blade, still coming after you.
He’d make a lovely horror creature.

man who is groomed to perform domestic labor; parentified to raise a younger sibling; forced to remain within the household to care for the father; denied all relations until the father’s death; constantly mocked and undermined for perceived weakness both by strangers and by his younger brother; experiences almost daily sexual violence; depicted to have ambiguous relationships with men in response to his upbringing; depicted to have a non-normative gendered experience; depicted to take the ‘submissive role’ in sexual encounters -> cishet man
man who takes the domestic labor of the older sibling for granted; gets to escape home to become his own person and attempt a cisnormative life; constantly performs the classic manly “dominant partner” script in sexual encounters; goes on a revenge quest explicitly paralleled with his father’s, inherits dark forces from a male progenitor; inherits fundamental character traits from the father -> woman

Thinking randomly about how Zachariah's attempts to "recruit" dean initially started in making him feel ashamed about "steaming a latte" or listening to NPR or something "soft-" coded.
But then! A much more effective nightmare scenario turned out to be the bruh-huh-huh and beer can crushing of Endverse.
Dean was more afraid of being that than being that.
And like, that's just fascinating, isn't it? Zach assumed Dean would be ashamed of the "wussy" world of Dean Smith, but it was actually... the opposite. And this is sooo like a microcosm for how Dean gets misread, isn't it?
