EXECUTION - NOBUO HONDA
HONDA YUKIO NOBUO, SUPER HIGH-SCHOOL LEVEL FENCER NOTHING, HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY.
COMMENCING EXECUTION . . .
Yukio, or rather in this case, Nobuo is led up to a stage in the middle of a small stadium. On the other side of the stage is a mysterious figure, dressed in a white fencing uniform and a fencing mask obscuring their face. Two men walk up on stage, one wearing a Kawaneko mask and one wearing a Kuroneko mask, each carrying a foil fencing swords in their hands. The one in the Kawaneko mask present the fencing sword to Nobuo, who takes it regretfully. Meanwhile, the man in the Kuroneko mask present the other sword to Nobuo’s masked opponent.
Once the mysterious figure was granted their fencing sword, the immediately began sprinting towards Nobuo. He knew exactly what was going on here, the two of them were about to have a fencing match. He prepared to retaliate against his opponent, his stance completely out of form like that of an amateur. Once the two were right in front of each other, their swords began to strike against each other. He tried his absolute best to parry his opponent’s swings, but it was very clear that he was outmatched. Within just a few seconds he gave the opponent a clear shot, which they used to strike him in the chest, dead center. Thankfully, the sword was only foil, so while it hurt a little, it was far from fatal.
The masked stranger then stepped back from Nobuo, taking another glance at the man they had so easily defeated. They tossed their sword off to the side, letting it clatter on the ground next to them. Next, they removed their mask, revealing their true identity.
Tumblr media
Staring back into Nobuo’s eyes was that of the true Yukio Honda. But how…? Why…? Was his brother actually still alive? Not that it mattered, because his face wasn’t as kind and loving as it usually was. This time it was full of malice and hatred. It was clear that they wouldn’t be walking from this together.
The man in the Kuroneko mask returned on stage to present Yukio with a new sword. This time it was real sabre, not a foil safety sword. Once it was in his hand, Yukio immediately leaped forward to strike at Nobuo with his new, shiny sword. Nobuo instinctively went to parry his brother, but the real, sharp sabre cut right through Nobuo’s foil one. His only means of defense or even retaliation was destroyed within a moment. With his next move, Yukio plunged the sword right into Nobuo’s chest, piercing right through his heart. Nobuo was left there, staring in horror at his brother who was supposed to be dead. But now the tables had turned, and he would be the one dying this time. He had returned to take his title back.
Yukio kicked Nobuo forward and jerked his hand back to pull his sabre back out of his body. This left him to fall to the floor, lying on the floor to bleed out. A moment later Yukio collapsed next to him. Any trace of life that was just with him was gone. His breathing had stopped, as had his heartbeat. It was as if he was just a doll. Dead. Motionless. Then again, Nobuo would be the same within a few minutes.
 >>HONDA NOBUO HAS BEEN EXECUTED.

The Game Is Only Beginning || Nobuo || RE: Everyone
Everyone seemed so surprised. Were they all really this gullible? They believed him so easily, and then acted so surprised when he revealed the truth. Going around shouting about liars and how cruel he was. But in the end, they didn’t even understand him.
"Haha… You’re all going on about how you still voted for me. But you didn’t. Like I told you, you voted for Yukio Honda, the Super High School Level Fencer. That’s not me… I’m not even supposed to be a student at this stupid fuckin’ school." He shouted at the others, his face full of rage and lacking any kind of passion. "My name… is Nobuo Honda. Unlike the rest of you, I don’t have a fuckin’ talent.”
He began to clench his fists so tightly that his fists that it began to hurt. The nervous, but kind Yukio had all been an act this entire time. Nobuo Honda was a much different person than his brother. He was much more heartless than his brother. While Yukio cared for others and always tried to help others achieve their best, Nobuo was always a much more bitter person. And now that he was standing there, in front of a bunch of others who had a much higher standing than him, he couldn’t help but feel furious.
"None of you can even begin to understand how I feel. A bunch of Super High School Levels, the best in their class, you all have the entire world in your hands. And then there’s me. No matter how hard I tried, I was always in my brother’s shadow. I went to so many lessons and practiced way more than he ever did, yet I could never beat him in a fencing match! How is that even fair? And then, I decided maybe fencing wasn’t for me, so instead I tried my hand at acting. I took so many classes, I was in so many plays and even starred on a few TV shows… But noooo, that’s never enough. All I’ll ever be known for is the twin brother of Yukio Honda…"
At this point, he had already gone far off the deep end. This had all been building up for a while. Being stuck with all of these people who were so much better than him. The only thing he could do was pretend that he really was his brother. He was regretting ever attending the academy at this point.
"That story I told you before, about my secret… I wasn’t lying. The only thing I was lying about was who died. That day, I was driving my brother and I home. We were never supposed to be driving on our own, but we never had parents to take us anywhere for us. Sure, it was illegal, but he always trusted me. I don’t know why, it’s not like I ever really liked him anyway. But then… the accident… I didn’t like him at all, but he wasn’t supposed to die, he was all I had, even if he did get in the way a lot. He was the only person there that ever helped me out… So I just… They mixed us up when they came to the crash site, because we’re twins. And for some reason, they pronounced me as being dead, while saying that I was Yukio Honda."
Despite all of this, Nobuo still wanted to live. He didn’t want to be sentenced to death like he had seen before. He had to come up with some sort of loophole to get him out of the situation he had found himself in. That had always worked before, right?
"So you see?! I’m not even supposed to be here! This was all just a big misunderstanding! You can’t execute me, I’m not even a part of this stupid game! So just let me leave already! I don’t even want to be a part of this mess anymore. I don’t have a talent so the least you can do is spare me, right?! This is so fuckin’ unfair!" He began to shout uncontrollably. He was far past the end of his wits. If there was anything he could do to get out of getting killed, he would gladly do it. But unfortunately for him, that didn’t seem all that likely.

Right... Or Wrong? || Yukio || Voting Reaction
Yukio watched as the votes piled on against him. It wasn’t really what he was expecting. He had them all in the palm of his hands before… And yet everything turned back against him in the end. He was so close, and yet at the same time, he was so far.
"Well, congratulations to you all! That’s right, I am the one who killed Shie Sakai. The whole thing about the masked culprit? It was all a lie, of course. And while I have to commend you on seeing through it… I can’t help but be disappointed in you all…” He said, staring out at the other 18 students among him. His expression had changed to something much more wicked and cold than before. “You all were far too easy to believe my story up until the very end. So many of you seemed to just assume I was innocent until you joined that bandwagon against me. You really need to work on that, you know?”
After that, the mood in the room became even more sour than before. The facade that he had been playing up this entire trial, no, the entire time he had been in the city, faded away. And so, his true nature was revealed to everyone.
"That disgusting excuse for a human being came up to me last night when I was trying to eat. I didn’t really want to kill them, but I just figured that they were coming for me. So I decided to just chuck the bowl at them. But after that, they wouldn’t stop screamin’, and I thought for sure that they wouldn’t shut up. So I pulled out my cheap ass fencing blade, and used it to knock ‘em down. But the fuckin’ thing just had to got and break on me when I was trying to do that. So finally, I just strangled ‘em so they wouldn’t be able to tell anyone what happened. And plus, there was the nice bonus of getting to hold onto my secret." He explained his entire murder plan to the group. In the end, it seemed that the entire case was much easier than most of them were treating it.
His cold demeanor than shifted to something much more maniacal as he let out a blood curdling laugh. It was like something out of a horror movie. In fact, that really wasn’t all that far off.
"But ya see, even after all of that hard work you put into finding out who the culprit is… You voted for the wrong person! You all voted for Yukio Honda, the Super High School Level Fencer! Unfortunately, Yukio doesn’t even go here!” He said, it appeared as if he had gone off the deep end by this point. “Yukio Honda died nearly a year ago in a very unfortunate car accident. So you all just voted for a dead guy! A ghost! You lose! You! Lose!”
At this point, it would be hard for anyone to tell what was happening with him. Was he being truthful about the death of Yukio Honda? Or was this just another one of his ridiculous lies meant to throw everyone off guard.

One Last Detail || Yukio || Trial [Re: Everyone]
"Wait a second, everyone! I just realized something!" Yukio shouted out.
It appeared as if he remembered a detail at the last moment.
"You’re all going on about nails and stuff, right? But I just remembered. I was thinking about what the culprit’s hands looked like when I saw them… But then I remembered! The culprit was wearing gloves!"
There wasn’t all that much time left to discuss things. But Yukio was still trying his best to drive the trial forward. After all he was the only one that could fill them in on the details of The Noodle Samurai..

Even After All This Time... || Yukio || Trial
"Th-this can’t be happening… We’re almost out of time… And all we have are a bunch of theories… We can go calling out names over small things, but we don’t know if the culprit would have a bruise! We don’t know what the culprit was wearing underneath their cloak! In the end… we still know nothing…" He said, grinding his teeth. His face was paler than ever before.
Once again, he arms were crossed and he was shaking uncontrollably. If he could, he would have just ran away from everything at that very moment. Just like how he ran away from everything before. It always worked before, but now… There was nowhere to run. He was trapped with all these other people.
They needed to pick who they thought the killer was. And yet, even he had no idea who he was going to use his own vote on. At this rate, he wondered what would end up being voted for. He didn’t want to vote for someone on just a whim… But he had to pick someone, right?

Secrets || Yukio || Trial [Re: Secrets Discussion]
He looked a little sad. He didn’t want to reveal his secret, but he knew that it would be better overall if he did. It was something that would be better for him to move on from. He didn’t need it to keep plaguing his life. So what better time to reveal it to everyone than right there.
"It… It was around a year ago… I was driving home from a fencing tournament with my brother, Nobuo. It was business as usual, a trip that him and I had made many times before. But… But then… It happened."
He paused for a moment to try and stop the tears from escaping his eyes. His vision became blurry as his eyes welled up with tears. No, he couldn’t do this. He didn’t want to have to relive the memories from what happened that day. But he had to. He had to tell everyone what his secret was.
I… I don’t know what came over me, but I accidentally ended up swerving into one of the other lanes. I must have been tired, I really shouldn’t have been driving. But I was anyway, and because of that, our car ended up colliding with another. Because of this, we got into a pretty nasty car wreck but… All I got was a couple of bruises that healed a few weeks later. But Nobuo… He… He…”
He had to stop talking. He didn’t want to say it. He couldn’t say it. He didn’t want to have to admit that his brother was dead. That he was the one who was responsible for his brother’s death. He just wanted to disappear from existence in that moment.

Who Is The Noodle Samurai? || Yukio || Trial [RE: Arvid, Haru, Abel]
"W-well… It was a little hard for me to tell what their exact build was… Because of the cloak, it didn’t leave much room to see what the killer beneath it was like. But they were definitely taller than I." He said, after taking a few moments to calm down.
He could do this. He needed to help everyone figure out who The Noodle Samurai was. There wasn’t much time left and they needed to come up with a suspect soon. Otherwise they ran the risk of voting for someone who wasn’t the killer of Shie Sakai. The next person to speak was Arvid, asking about if the killer would have a bruise or not.
"Well… Uh… I actually don’t know if they would have a bruise or not… Like I said, they had a cloak on, so I couldn’t actually see. But if they did, it would have been on their right shoulder!"
Things were finally beginning to look brighter for Yukio. Deep down he really wanted everyone to solve this case. But at the same time, he was almost afraid to see what the outcome of the trial would be.
"A-also… it might help you all believe me if I told you my secret but… I’m sure you’ll all hate me if you do…"

Narrow || Yukio || Trial [RE: Min-yun]
Yukio was finally beginning to calm down. More people were beginning to believe him, and that made him feel a lot more comfortable. But he knew there were still a few more details that needed to be explained.
"Alright… So the outfit itself was kind of like something you’d see out of a manga. Like some crazy super villain! It was long, black, and flowing. Like some grim reaper or something. And the way they were talking made it seem like they were some sort of serial killer or something!!! They said some sort of name I remember… But what was it again… ugh… It was like some weird name… Like uh… The Noodle Samurai! A serial killer that kills all of his victims via noodle related means!”
Now this story was getting stranger and stranger the more he spoke. And once again his nervousness began to set back in. He was shaking once again and his face had gone pale again. It was as if he was retelling a ghost story or something.
"Their appearance was… haunting. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were some dark demon themselves! They were just a bit taller than me, but not too much! I just… I can’t… No, I don’t want them to come for me next!" He screamed out.
He shoved his head into his hands, as if to try and hide himself from the others. Anyone sitting next to him could hear the distinct sound of him sobbing into his own hands. It seemed as if he was about at the end of his wits.

Answers || Yukio || Trial [Re: Too Many People Again]
"Would you all calm down for a second and just give me a second to explain?!" Yukio shouted out. All of these questions stacking up on him were stressing him out.
He took a moment to collect his thoughts and began answering the questions thrown at him one by one.
"The culprit was wearing a hood and a decorative mask. Maybe like… a theater mask? It’s a little hard for me to explain, but it was very extravagant, not something plain at all."
Then it was on to the next question.
"The reason I could tell it was a guy was because of the voice of course. Although it was a little hard to hear from behind the mask, it was definitely more masculine than feminine. I guess it’s still possible it might not have been a guy, though…"
After that, he rolled the sleeves of his shirt back slightly, revealed bruises and scratches around his wrists.
"S-see… This is where they grabbed me, just like one of you mentioned. Isn’t this call coming into place now."
The next question presented to him was about why he had his sword with him.
"I had my sword with me because I always have it… I mean yeah, I had it partially for self defense, but even outside of that, I’m a fencer. It just… wouldn’t feel right to have it by my side… But once it broke… I knew people would start suspecting me if they found it, so I just dumped it off somewhere I didn’t think anyone would check. Like I said, if I told any of you the killer would have picked me off next! And I’m only telling any of you this now because I know they wouldn’t try to pull anything funny when we’re all together."

Story Time With Yukio || Yukio || Trial [RE: too many people]
"I s-said I could explain, alright! Just… Just give me a moment to calm down…" He said, his face was pale and his arms were crossed.
He wasn’t sure how to go about his next claim. It certainly didn’t help that so many people were talking to him at once. Especially when they were all doubting him, accusing him of killing Shie.
"Alright… Just… Give me a little break here, I shouldn’t even be telling you guys this. H-he said he’d kill me if I told anyone. But I’m gonna die anyway if I don’t speak up, right?"
He took a deep breath and prepared to explain. After all, it was do or die by that point.
"Okay… I’ll admit it. I was there at the ramen shop last night. And yes, that blade is mine… And yes, it is very relevant to this case. However, I wasn’t the one who killed Shie Sakai! But… I saw who did it!"
Well that was a bit of a bold claim for him to make.
"The problem is… They were wearing a disguise when it all happened! So I couldn’t get a look at their face, unfortunately. But… Here’s what happened, alright? I saw him on the ground, choking out Sakai-san. So I did what anybody would do, I tried to apprehend him so we wouldn’t have to go through another one of these stupid trials! So I pulled out my sword and I charged at him."
His face quickly turned to a frown as he paused his explanation. It was similar to watching a movie when you already know how it ends. At this point in the story, it was obvious that he did not succeed in apprehending the masked individual.
"But when I swung my sword at them, I accidentally kind of… well… broke it… haha… And then he slammed me to the ground and told me that if I told anyone about what happened that he’d kill me too!"
As his story came to an end, Yukio was practically sweating bullets.

Unlikely || Yukio || Trial [RE: Min-yun, Hisato]
It was only a few minutes into the trial and he was already under fire by someone. Well, at the very least, she wasn’t straight out accusing him. But he couldn’t help but feel like the others were already beginning to suspect him because of the blade and then the sheath in his room.
"W-wait! I… I can explain, this isn’t what you think it is…!" He shouted, his voice cracking along the way.
And then Hisato chimed in with a point that could help him out. That was right, the blade didn’t seem to have anything to do with the actual murder. Maybe that might be enough to keep everyone off of his case.
"Y-yeah… It’s just like he says, the sword isn’t relevant it’s just…"
He was shaking at this point. There was clearly something off here just by looking at him, but he also didn’t seem to want to speak too much. He feared that anything he might say could just swing everyone back to suspecting him.

Game Start || Yukio || Body Discovery Reaction
There they were. Lying on the ground, right in front of the ramen shop. Of all places a dead body could have turned up, it just had to be the ramen shop, didn’t it? It was almost as if fate itself didn’t want him to be able to just sit down and enjoy a good meal. After another body showing up, he would have loved to just sit down and enjoy a hot piping bowl of ramen to cool down his nerves. But the body was right there, how was he supposed to calm down when the body would be right there behind him.
"Why did this even have to happen?! Why do people keep having to killing each other? Over these… these.. this stupid game! When can I get out of this awful city and this stupid game! I don’t want to do this anymore!" He shouted out in a panic. It was almost as if he was talking to the victim. But despite this, he knew it wasn’t their fault. It wasn’t anyone’s fault.
In a panic, he ran. He ran as far as he could, away from the ramen shop, away from all of his problems. He just had to get away from everything. He didn’t want any involvement in this investigation or this trial. He didn’t want people to suspect each other again and send another person off to their death. He cursed those stupid cats that made all of this happen again. He just wanted to live a normal life, no motives, no murders, no trials. Just a normal school life with normal classes and normal school events.

When an Act Becomes Reality || Yukio || Re: Body Discovery #1
When Yukio first got the message about the first murder he couldn’t believe it. The only thing that he could think was this all has to be a joke or this can’t actually be happening. The situation he had found himself in was already bad enough. But the idea that somebody had actually listened to those damned cats and went off to kill someone… It was all too unreal for him to actually believe. In fact, he tried his best to convince himself that this whole thing was all still just one practical joke.
He quickly ran off to the place where the ‘body’ was supposed to be. He hoped to arrive there and see some fake mannequin or to have some popular celebrity jump out telling him that he had been ‘punk’d’. But deep down, he knew that it was probably real. Despite this, he didn’t want to believe that somebody could have actually died. No, worse than that, that somebody had killed another person.
However, when he arrived at the scene of the crime his worst nightmare became true. There it was, an actual corpse. As much as he wanted to believe it was just really good special effects, but even for that it still looked all too real.
Tumblr media
"This can’t be happening- No, I don’t want to believe it! This isn’t funny anymore, I don’t remember signing any waivers for a reality TV show or anything like that. So can this please just stop…" He said, in vain.
Unfortunately, even he knew no matter how much he begged there was no easy way out of this situation.

Secrets Are Meant to Be Kept || Yukio || Motive Reaction || Area 0 > Ramen Shop
A new motive was in place, just like last time. Did this mean that somebody was actually going to kill someone again? Yukio couldn’t take it, not again. But it was then, when the motive was revealed…
if no one is dead, we will release your deepest, darkest secrets.
That statement shook him to his core. Their deepest secrets? Just how much did these stupid cats even know? They couldn’t know that could they? Nobody was supposed to know about that, of course they couldn’t. But still, deep in the pit of his stomach, he had a feeling that whatever happened, this motive would be far worse than the last one.
Tumblr media
"I…! S-sorry, I have to go!"
He began running. Running away from any others, from his problems, from this shitty situation, from himself. Wherever his feet led him was better than wherever he was before. He couldn’t think, he just needed to find some place safe. Somewhere where he didn’t have to be near people, people who might just be thinking to kill him over their own secrets.
Area Zero didn’t have anything that could him calm down, but who could know what Area One might hold. After arriving there, he noticed on his map that there was a small ramen shop. One of his favorite meals had always been ramen, and he hadn’t been able to have a bowl of it since showing up in this city. He thought that sitting down to have a bowl could help him chill out a bit.
But as he strolled up to the stand, he noticed that there was already someone there. Someone who might betray him, kill him, hate him. Even his one hope of calming down was crushed, blocked off by the very thing he couldn’t bring himself to look at… Another person in this stupid game.
Not sure what to do, he just stood there, standing outside of the ramen shop. Staring, like a deer caught in the headlights. He didn’t know what to do? Stay? Leave? It was so hard to think with all of the anxiety building up in him.

This introduction is a little later than I would have liked, but oh well.
I'm Lago and I play Yukio Honda the Super High School Level Fencer. I'm relatively new to Danganronpa OC roleplays, but I've been roleplaying outside of this fandom for nearly a decade. The only characters of mine I guess you might be familiar with is Akuma the Super High School Level Demonologist who I played in Astral Academia and Hijiri Tsutsui the Super High School Level Game Show Champion who I'm using for Astral Black.
I go by He/Him pronouns, although I'm okay with They/Them as well. I only really have one trigger, and that is abandoned hospitals and mental hospitals, so I would appreciate if you could tag those for me.
Lastly, I just want to apologize for my absence the last two weeks. I've been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety the last few weeks and it hasn't been a very good time. Adding onto that, this is around the same time that I joined the Astral Cabal mod team and the stress of jumping into this big project right before it's about to start added a lot of stress that I probably didn't need. But despite that, I've still managed to have a lot of fun and I'm feeling a lot better, and my motivation to RP has definitely come back. So I hope to switch into full gear from here on out.
