I love when I come across a show, a random show, and there’s an asexual character, but they never name it (because it’s a historical fiction) and the progress this character has made… he was made fun of that he’s a virgin. So he in the end tried women. Nothing. He tried men. Nothing. So he came to the conclusion that at the end of the day he’d rather be surrounded by books. Anyway, what is it with asexuals and books? 😂 And here I am, seeing myself in these characters, because that’s what I went through. Tried both, came to the conclusion that I’d just rather be alone. I don’t feel any sexual attraction to other people whatsoever. However, I love people. People who are close to me. I experience platonic love. Not a romantic one. And even though I never feel sexual attraction, I find people attractive. I think I even have a type. People that are aesthetically pleasing to me. Doesn’t mean I want to be in a relationship with them. I can admire someone’s looks… and not feel confused with my asexuality. Now I’m at peace with who I am. It took some time to realise that, but I’m here. And I love to see some representation in the popular media, whether it’s subtle or not.

I have this saved on my PC. No hint of who or what the source is. If any of you know, please tell me. Reverse image search is useless or maybe i'm just stupid idk. Will delete the pic when I have the source (if it's not a dead link) I should have added this info a long time ago but i forgot.
