Shouka Sonjuku Week Day Three: University/Coffee Shop/Sweets

(AKA a Shrine!AU that got way out of hand.)

Disillusioned with life in the Imperial Palace, Shinto priest Shouyou, his understudy Oboro, and shrine maiden Nobume head out to search for new horizons west of the capitol. They begin hearing odd rumors of a demon up in the mountains that razed the land centuries ago. Upon investigation, however, all they discover is a dilapidated shrine and its sole inhabitant, a mischievous fox god with an insatiable sweet tooth. The gang settle down to rehabilitate the shrine. Meanwhile, Shouyou entertains the suspicion that their latest acquaintance might be closer to the demon's tale than he lets on.
