one of my co-workers told me that my iron man christmas sweater looked like tony was into bondage and you would not BELIEVE the utter joy i felt explaining to her that tony's just Like That™️

anyway so clearly i was going through panels and as i was browsing the ones i have saved on my laptop (largely vol 3 because we all know i’m a vol 3 slut)

so i was reminded of how much i love tony stark’s moments of Intimately Private Angst 

because like. he doesn’t just sit and get sad. no. no the fave is too delightfully full of heart and emotions and ideals and high key poetic leanings to simply sit down and be sad oh no

oh no he will walk up to a window and draw a heart on it and THEN he will sit down in sadness

you drop him at the edge of his own nightmares and it’s the literal door to dante’s inferno 

you go tony. you go and wait until everyone’s gone so you can simulate a Single Tear on a fresh painting of your face
