Ted 2 may not be as entertaining when it gets in a more serious tone, but it's still an enjoyable comedy. It has the same problem that the first Ted has, the third act isn't as fun. Despite that, this sequel may not be as good as the first, but it's still a funny comedy that I will get on Blu Ray. In my opinion, the first Ted is just a tiny bit better. But let's hope Seth MacFarlane makes another fun comedy soon. 7.7 / 10 (B) #Ted2 #MarkWhalberg #SethMacFarlane

House of Cards Season Three Review: *Warning: There are spoilers in this review of this season and the last. If you have not seen the last season, I recommend you do not worry about this review, unless you don’t care. *
Previously on season two of House of Cards, Frank Underwood became vice president and kills Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) – I told you there would be spoilers – within the first episode. Claire Underwood gets into some drama with the news after lying to the news about her not getting an abortion. Doug Stamper helps out Rachel Posner he eventually gets attacked by Rachel in the season finale. Lucas Goodwin tries to prove that Francis killed Zoe, but eventually gets arrested. His hacker is now working for the FBI. While all of this is happening, Francis is making the current president’s approval rating down, eventually making Francis the president. This season, there are 18 months left until the next president gets inaugurated, and Francis’ approval rating isn’t that great. The show focuses on him running for the Democratic nominee, while he has to deal with Russia’s conflicts and help make his plan America Works happening. In this season, we really get see a different side of Frank Underwood. Since he is now the president, he has to act a different way in front of the nation. He’s still an evil and not good human being, but this season shows a side of that proves that he really does care about his country. However, there were also times where Frank was down right horrifying. There are times where he gets in arguments with a certain character (or characters) and it’s a side where I don’t think he’s ever been that scary. This season did a good job on balancing between his serious scary sides to the well-rounded America’s best friend type of role. There are certain people that do leave or get killed off for reasons. Some of these people do get replaced immediately after, and they do a good job on focusing with the new people. So next season, I’m curious to see which supporting characters are going to return for the next season, because there are some people that have a real possibility of not coming back to the next season. If they do, it might be a small role.
Overall, I thought this season was more interesting than the last, and I’m probably one of the only few that thought that. The election part of the season is what kept it really interesting for me, plus dealing with the Russians and making the conflict between them more political and serious than the previous season. We did get to see a different side of Frank and Claire Underwood, while still showing us that they’re still evil people. From the outline of how the story went with the show in this season, I’m assuming there’s going to be one or two more seasons, so this show will definitely put me on the edge of my seat again like this season did.
