Hello my loves. Admin once again,

I've been putting this off for a while now, but it's time to rip off the bandaid.

When I started this account just a short while ago I never imagined it would get the following and activity it has. I'm blown away by the Shiu love and all the fun and creativity that came floating through my inbox. It's been a joy to interact with all of you.

As a dear friend of mine put it, Shiu was there for me when I needed him. This page limped me through a but of a dark time and brought in joy and inspiration when I really needed it.

Now, due to some personal reasons and life changes, I will be stepping away from this account, but not from Tumblr entirely. I hope those of you that have had fun interacting with Shiu will forgive me as I put this page on indefinite hiatus. But, if you still want to chat or follow you can find me as Yuri at @heian-era-housewife . I may not always be able to respond right away, but I'd love to keep in touch via asks or pm.

I really can't put into words how much this experience has meant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Hello All,

Admin here on a bit of a serious note. I promise after this to let Shiu have more of the spotlight, but I have something very important to address first.

I'm quickly realizing that, when people feel they have no one else to turn to, it's sometimes easiest to turn to their favorite character. I totally get it. (Oh the comfort I would seek from Sukuna were he real 💕) But, as such, I have received numerous asks regarding ideologies related to taking one's own life and self harm. While I am not a mental health professional, I truly, genuinely care and actually hold this matter very close, having lost someone dear to me in much the same fashion recently. Therefore, I have compiled a list of resources that will be posted and linked to my pinned post that I hope will be useful to everyone. Not just those experiencing struggles with mental health.

Please know that while I am always open to talking, I struggle with mental health conditions of my own and I am in no way a therapist, so my capacity to help is limited. But I strongly believe in friendship, safe spaces, and supporting one another in a judgment free way and will do my best to offer these as much as I am able.
