Shiro stood silently as the second male took his turn to speak insults toward Ryuu, his blinking motions gradually moving the attention from the boy to the black hollow. Despite how the male had ended his mockery with a laugh, Shiro gave a few moments for Ryuu to take the chance to respond.

"Do ya tell everyone you meet your life story, or do I just have a hospitable looking appearance," he broke his silent streak with a sarcasm of his own. "So you're the better part of Ryuu, eh? Guess the apple never falls too far from the tree, na? Ryuu... But the bastard ain't wrong, either. Whatever dysfunctional family problem ya got with your old man, you ain't even close to killing him for having pathetic excuses and being a pathetic excuse. Yer gonna die before you even turn the doorknob ta that path if ya ain't gonna change your mindset."

"Actually I am him…well we both have the same blood running through us. Ryuu is scared of dying, so he split himself into two and now here I am with pathetic excuse for an arrancar. I can die all I want and come back, but if Ryuu dies we are both gone. I’m the only one who can kill our father…maybe the only hollow, but we will see.” The black hollow laughed.

Ryuu just sat there looking down at his feet.

"....you are..." Violet hues narrowed at the male. "Familiar."

He was often used to coming across those who held an air of familiarity about them, whether it be from Soul Society, the Human World, or Hueco Mundo. Majority of the time, he recognized who they were straight away through the usage of Ichigo’s memories of people, or through their reiatsu from clashing their swords together. Shiro stared back at the piercing, yet cautious gaze with his own taunting ones in response. She was slowly trying to pinpoint who he was, as was he; however, despite their momentary confrontation on opposite ends, the Hollow had a pretty good idea who this bitch was. The only difference was that her reiatsu may have been distorted at the time. There was one way to find out how accurate he was to her identity.

"Ya must be a staggering people-person if I’m only familiar on first meeting,” he grinned mockingly at her.

Shiro remained where he was, still making no movement to assist the boy to his feet. Although, that was in the hollow's nature to begin with. He slowly turned his sights to the other figure that had revealed himself near Ryuu, still retaining his casual posture. 

"You the 'stupid other half' the brat's talkin' about?"

"Because your shitty excuses makes you a childish brat. Maybe you didn’t give ‘em your all? Ya shouldn’t have gotten bruised and battered from the start if ya already got the mindset of wanting ta kill your opponent. Did ya stupidly go and get yourself distracted in the fight? Ryuu..”
