I love Malevolent because it doesn't even start at 0 mph, it just goes straight to 100 and stays there. you would think "guy and the cosmic horror possessing him are too entangled by love to be torn apart by a bigger cosmic horror" would be a later season development, but no. it's at the end of Season 1. and the format of every episode is like [list of content warnings as long as my arm] [most tender display of affection and/or vicious deeply personal argument you've ever heard] [some guy's eyeballs get ripped out while being described in visceral squelching detail]
