Headcanon: El Profesor from La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) is autistic.
Maybe it's just me, but since I started watching the show I noticed El Profesor has a lot of autistic traits and after looking everywhere for people who agree with me and failing, I've realized that I'm probably the only person who believes this headcanon so here are the proofs:
1. Echolalia, I think one of the reasons why he likes 'Bella Ciao' so much is because of how repetitive the lyrics are.
2. Loves strict routines and plans. Things have to be done that way or else he'll get anxious.
Says things such as “The rules are very clear about this” like one thousand times throughout the show.
Does the “Do you know what time is it? It's 3 a.m., we have class tomorrow!" thing like two or three times in season 1 and 3 and he always looks stressed over it.
credit.
Conversations have to go a certain way or else he doesn't know what to do.
Uses too many chess metaphors because he doesn't know how to express his opinions and emotions in other way, even he said it.
When he is talking to Raquel about how everything (except falling for her) was part of the plan, he makes very clear that even the questions he was going to ask over the phone were scripted. He also plans conversations with other people which is why whenever Berlin or Tokyo don't react to his orders as he thought they would he gets overwhelmed (his conversations with Berlin on season 3 are a great example of this).
You might say he gets anxious because not following these rules might intervene with the plan but under social situations he's not comfortable with, he clearly doesn't know what to do either.
Stutters and mumbles lot, most of the time he doesn't realize he's doing it and when he does it it's because he's in a situations that isn't comfortable at all for him.
Calls have to be made at an specific time and hour or else things will get bad™. I'm not only talking about the plan, there's even scenes where he's about to grab the phone and he waits a few seconds until he feels the timing is correct.
3. STIMMING, LOTS OF STIMMING
The Origami is a great way for him to stim.
Hands on his pockets, adjusting his glasses, tapping surfaces, in general he fidgets with his hands a lot and that's very notorious.
4. Hyperfixated in Crime (duh), Chess, and Origami.
I mean.
(Also, Origami and Chess pieces= Comfort objects.)
credit.
5. Sometimes has trouble making eye contact (like when he's about to say things that he knows are going to make the other person get angry) but it's okay.
6. Takes things very literally and says things pretty straight forward without realizing they could be offensive, "weird" or hurting.
credit.
credit.
7. Only wears certain materials, outfits and colors because any other thing will make him uncomfortable.
credit.
In Season 3 Alicia also asks him something along the lines of "please don't tell me you are one of those guys who wear an undershirt and a suit all the time" and well...he does, so...
I didn't could get a screenshot/gif of it but in season 1 or 2 there's a scene where he puts on a suit and we get to see his wardrobe and we are able to see all of his suits look pretty much the same except the colors change sometimes.
Also the iconic PAJAMAS, everyone calls them boring pajamas or librarian pajamas and he doesn't care, he wears them anyway and in the scene where Tokyo interrupts him while folding his clothes we can see various identical sets of those pajamas in the same color.
credit.
In conclusion, a socially awkward man who is called brilliant and a genius through the show, with hyperfixation in things, who follows routines and rules he made himself (even when he doesn't have to) and has certain characteristics most neurotypical people don't present? He's definitively autistic.

Edit: Added in a pansexual icon since I've been informed that's his canonical sexuality!
