Shindi’s Dream Corruption ability is an automatic, but slow process. Basically, the more you talk to him, the more his demonic presence starts to corrupt your dream. So the trick is to just shut him out as fast as you can if you don’t have a strong mental fortitude.

I really wanna do a thread where Shindi does his whole Deep Dreamwalker ability on someone really close to someone else and they have to deal with suddenly waking up and finding Shindi in place of whomever they usually see in the morning.

Like. Shindi wouldn’t care it’s not his body they’d be hurting, but how would the other person deal?

He picked at some idle scenery in the dream - the subconscious - of whom he had deduced to be a Son Goten. (He had heard that surname before, hadn’t he? Maybe that name as a whole as well? It didn’t quite matter to him right now.)

“Humor me for a moment, if you will. Do you have any dreams in breaking these? Surpassing the shadows you’re trapped in? Conquering your inner demons?”

It might only be for the duration of a dream, but the longer he lurked in the subconscious of someone the easier subsequent visits would be, and by connection - the easier it would be to perform a Deep Dreamwalk on him, and oh the havoc he could cause then.
