Lovestruck(temporary name) is currently nothing more than an idea. A game making team of just one man, myself. Updates will be sporadic until we bring like-minded friends aboard.

You may all call me the Announcer. Anny, for short, if you'd like.

We're keeping this short and sweet tonight folks. This post is going to hold any important links and information for the 3 main projects under the Lovestruck name: Sucker for Love, Away from the Dark, and a currently unnamed third project. Let's get into them

Sucker for Lover

Sucker for Lover, or S4L, is a horror based dating sim, taking some inspiration from more traditional Visual Novels.

The player character, along with roughly a dozen 'contestants', wake up in a massive studio after being kidnapped, and are told by a mysterious man that they're contestants in his newest dating reality show. The player must find a way to survive each round and avoid being eliminated, finding love in the process amidst your fellow captives, all the while finding clues that there may be more going on behind the scenes.

Away from the Dark

Away from the Dark, AftD, is a much more traditional horror game, taking great inspiration from older RPG horror games of the 2010s.

The player takes control of Max, a person waking up in an abandoned facility with a voice in their ears telling them to do everything in their power to escape. You guide them through maze-like hallways and impossible architecture while running from a being other characters call the Shadow Man. Escape with your life, or risk it all to uncover the truth hiding just out of reach.

To Be Announced

This game is currently unnamed, but that doesn't mean it can't be talked about! This game takes immense inspiration from the Boyfriend to Death games (18+) with permission to do so.

The player plays as themself, bored on a regular day and deciding to talk a walk around town. You will find 3 posters on an advertisement board; 3 possible ways to satisfy your boredom. But any option you pick will have great consequences. Will you manage to escape intact? (Yes, yes, the summary tells you absolutely nothing, I know. You'll learn more along the way)

(announcer note: while all three games are 18+, only this final game is currently going to be explicit! S4F and AftD will both have adult themes and gore, but currently no sexual content aside from jokes. This third game will have adult scenes and CGs)

A sprite for Desmond

[shilos-world]

Drew something for the first time yesterday using colored pencils (my mechanicals all ran out and I couldn’t go to the store). It felt really freeing drawing like this! Since my erasers don’t work well with colored pencils, I had to just leave most lines where they fell.

Anyway! Meet Ryan; named after The Jackel, Ryan Kuhn. He may or may not end up in my game, but either way I love how he turned out. (Delete the caption on this one if you want, I don’t really care)
