I'm so torn on timeline for The Untravelled road Beast wars AU (I finally gave it a name) I already got most of it figured out but seeing that a certain party (cough dinobot and rattrap mainly) has sparklings I'm debating when it should happen like during this war is interesting cause It can offer new facets into their lives that was basically unexplored but post-war also seems ideal but it seems a little bit too obvious.

I dunno but eventually I might be able to figure it out if my brain will quit running in circles lol

Fun fact, Originally Chymera was going to be a vampire bat but.. I'm gunna give honest I didn't know how to incorporate the blood drinking that vampire bats do into beast wars lol

My depression was a little bad today so I drew these two with their sparklings, Zephyr likes perching on rattrap's head, Kaida and chymera likes to sleep in dinobot's feathers and skyline just likes to vibe

(Just in case people can't read my hand writing (cause my hand writing sucks))

Rattrap: Hey! C'mon I'm not a perch kiddo!

Here is the a height chart with the sparklings fully grown from left to right (Zephyr (cape Vulture), Kaida (Komodo Dragon) , Skyline (Yi qi) and Chymera (Honduran white bat)) please excuse the poor quality, I'll redo this adding dinobot and rattrap also once I get it done a new dinotrap drawing is coming 😊

Also I changed Zephyr's optics to red the orange and yellow was too similar to kaida's

Episode Review: Beast Wars S01 Ep22 - "The Low Road"

In a stark contrast from the previous episode, Posession, the first season of Beast Wars continues on a more light hearted note with Episode 22, “The Low Road”… The Low Road – Story Summary Rattrap and Dinobot are outside the Maximal base on an incredibly dangerous mission… clearing an overgrown area of vegetation that could be used by the Predacons as cover when planning an attack. Not impressed…

Now that we got the Dinotrap babies out of the way I'm also going to do a height chart after everything is done.

The current name of the Beast Wars AU I'm working on is called The Untravelled Road

Some characters will look the same or a tad different

For one example Terrorsaur and Megatron are going to get some dino fuzz and updated looks to their beast mode their robot modes won't change

Among some other things that I want to surprise people with

One thing I will state is that the crews will be slightly larger, and I don't mean the population boom thanks to rattrap and dinobot having sparklings lol

Hear me out, dinobot gets broody over his eggs right? He would chase anyone away from the nest that he feels is a threat.. Or in rattrap's case because rattrap aggravated dinobot (this is a occasional thing but normally dinobot will smack rattrap with his tail)

I'm torn on names Zephyr or Killwind (I'm leaning towards Zephyr) but he is a cape vulture, unlike his siblings that is either a mix of dinobot and rattrap's personality or act more like one or the other. He is relatively quiet and reserved but his personality tends to clash with Kaida which leads to a sibling rivalry between them, he doesn't really like conflict but he won't hesitate to get involved if his life, siblings or parents are in danger

I went with a more bone/scavenger look for him the only thing I might change is the optic color but other than that between this and the argentavis I actually prefer this

I am so torn between these three animals for the last sparkling

Either the opossum

The Cape vulture

Or go with another prehistoric bird, Argentavis

I love each of these creatures because it fits with the unique personalities and heritage between Dinobot and rattrap. I'm open to feedback but I might also do some mock ups of each creature as well

I'm now at a delema in my unnamed beast Wars AU I do know that Dinobot does not die. Seeing that the OG universe for him to meet his fate in code of hero (saddest episode besides the unreleased Dark glass)

I'm currently torn on if either someone (or multiple people) saves him or if I should do some more research into the possibility of a Transmetal form/upgrade, but I'm also testing the possibility of temporary character death as well but right now it it a very unclear but damn it I will make sure that stupid dino gets his happy ending with his vermin if its the last thing I'll do

But any suggestions I will gladly take cause writing is not my strong suit 😵‍💫
