—☆ I think the best thing for me to do is to archive and restart. I'll be moving over most of my replies because starting from total scratch gives me too much anxiety but I'll prep a carrd over Christmas with as much info as I can and relaunch Harls in the new year of people want that ~ Bluebell xox

SAY THAT AGAIN.   Harley sat there baffled for a moment.   Someone had asked her to speak more ??   That was never the reaction she received.   Maybe that was because previously her voice had drowned out the worries of the world other people faced.   But they weren’t troubled ,   the community didn’t need her.   Part of her compared it to the GCPD giving out parking tickets when there were millionaires and billionaires robbing the poor in the daylight.   There was a bigger problem they had to focus on ,   but no ,   no one wanted to face the facts.   So she had to show them herself.

With a shrug ,   the blonde let the words fall from her mouth.   ❝ Y’know my old patients were all too occupied with the voices in their heads and the voices the news pushed onto ‘em.   If they’d have developed their own thoughts they’d have noticed that this city is whacked.   Like way more than it was before.   Sure it’s wetter than it was before but we ain’t exactly gonna dry out overnight.   People are so fixed on the material stuff they all lost ,   and listening to it over an’ over really makes ya wanna smush their heads in !!   So what if I were the nurse there t’ help ‘em ,   they ain’t listenin’ t’ me, they ain’t lettin’ me carry on.   I were just a nurse but I was so close t’ bein’ more.   Maybe if he had the balls to kill ‘em all ‘imself we wouldn’t a flooded and I’dda finished my doctorate but those people are more concerned about their tvs electrifying their third office they can’t use anymore !!   Like I give a fuck about that ?? ❞

Sometimes he regretted having to entertain others, it left him in conversations he would rather not be in and this was definitely one of them. Though she seemed to enjoy the fact that was causing his annoyance and it only worsened when she mimicked his movements. His brow arching with her words, clearly explaining why she seemed rather out there to him. He was a man of order and nothing else, chaos was something he controlled and used to his advantage in a fight due to his blade. Nothing more. “A dip into a giant vat of acid.” He repeats as green eyes look over her once more. But then she starts to analyze him, something he hates. Andrei had been through enough life without order until he met Wenwu, the man he called father. He shakes his head, brow furrowing as glares down at her as arms fall to his sides. “I follow orders out of loyalty and honor. To repay the man who gave me a home and a purpose. My actions have reason and meaning.” He half growls back. “I do not need to be analyzed and looked into by anyone.” It almost doubled as a threat in the process, a way for her to see that she should tread carefully with where her words go next. Otherwise she risks the reaction of anger of the unleashing of the blade from the metallic device on his right lower forearm. 

HE WAS ENTERTAINMENT.   Trying to break his hard apathetic shell to get just a drop of information out of him was a fun game.   Having previously made a living out of cracking the inmates at Arkham Asylum ,   he was a welcomed challenge.   There couldn’t be order without chaos ,   but there also had to be some people in the world that held it together as there couldn’t be chaos without order.   Otherwise it would just be normal ,   and sure the world wouldn’t be boring but there had to be not-so-exciting times to figure out how exciting the chaos was.   As he repeated her words she nodded.   ❝ Yeah ,   he asked me whether I’d do it to declare my love for him or whatever and I did but after that decision ya kinda just learn how to deal with it and move forward because progress is good. ❞   Even if she still wanted to smash people over the face way more often than any person should   — but it was a cathartic action that just had to be taken when the situation presented itself.   Harley listened again as he spoke of loyalty and honour ,   she’d heard similar from the military teams the Squad had been placed with.   ❝ My actions have meaning and reasoning too ,   they just may not seem that way to you.   Everyone sees the world differently ,   and everyone reacts to it in their own way.   You don’t want me to analyse you then fine ,   you don’t have to tell me any more ,   you’re giving enough away. ❞   She tilted her head ,   repaying a man who had helped him mimicked that of daddy issues.   If he didn’t have anyone until that one person and felt they owed them everything then that could be dangerous in the wrong context ,   Harley knew that one from experience.

“What–? No-!” Red Robin moves in, to take Harley by the shoulder and pull her away from their interrogation suspect with a sidebar conversation. Although they could do it in front of him and play a bit of a mind game. 

“Physical violence when trying to get information is- sort of a last resort. We want to really try and make them sweat, by any means. Psychologically, emotionally– Nine out of ten times, they’re gonna tell you that they have a family- a wife and kids or something like that. Oh, and it helps to put them in a somewhat compromising position, like Batman like to hang them over the edge of a building. That said we’re taking it slow- so no punching, at least not yet- what’s your first move Harley?”

PULLED AWAY AGAIN.   What was wrong now ??   She was trying here ,   and Harley thought he should have respected that.   As she reluctantly followed Red Robin ,   the annoyed look was clear on her face.   This guy totally deserved to be decked for no other reason than for trying to look down her top.   It was unacceptable.   But she also knew she had to play by the rules she didn’t set.   The Batfam had so many unwritten restrictions that she was still getting used which apparently also included not punching a guy who most definitely deserved it unless she absolutely had to.   That kinda took the fun and spontaneity out of things.

❝ I can do psychologically to.   Can read from his face he’s got enough daddy issues t’ last him.   Daddy probably got lost to the violence of the city and the poor thing thought the only way to get attention was to follow in daddy’s footsteps in the hopes maybe he’d find the male he lost again. ❞   She paused before shrugging   ❝ That’s how most sorry stories go on these streets ,   an’ trust me I heard enough of ‘em workin’ at Arkham.   As fer WWBMD   —   or what would Batman do   —   he’d first drag ‘em to the roof or hand ‘em to the fire escape by his ankles. ❞

—☆ Heya! I wanna apologise to you for being so quiet. My "quick" and "easy" move has at least in terms of getting my WiFi up and running been hell. Nothings gone right and 3 weeks later I'm still without it. I'm hoping this is a situation to be resolved soon. I've currently been given another date of the 16th September which is another 2 weeks away but I've launched a huge complaint so maybe something will happen about it. I'm sad I can't be writing again in an official capacity and I do miss you all but wanted to give you a further explanation for my ongoing absence.
