i also just struggle a lot with intimacy in general. I've had sex once in my life and it was great in the moment, but then over time it ate away at me and I felt so disgusting. thinking about it now makes me so anxious and worried. i had a dream last night I was going to sleep with someone and I woke up having a panic attack at the thought of it. it's something that comes so naturally to everyone else but not to me, and I feel horrible about it, like something is wrong with me. i can't even fathom the idea of doing it without feeling nauseous and panicked. and it really fucking sucks. I've broken up with people because the idea of having sex was so horrific to me that I didn't want to burden them with it. I don't know. I just wish things were different.

thinking about how my mom repressed my sexuality when I was younger, how i wasn't allowed to talk about sex or think about sex because I had to be "innocent." i wasn't allowed to have crushes on people because it obviously meant we would have sex, even though I was 11. i wasn't taught anything about my anatomy and we used words like "hoo ha" instead of vagina. she told me I was never allowed to have sex unless I was married, and I didn't need birth control because getting pregnant is God's plan. i wasn't allowed to ask questions or learn anything because it would "tarnish" me. i wasn't allowed to know what condoms were or what safe sex was... i wasn't told anything. she had a monitor on my computer that told her if i googled anything about sex. and then she wonders why I grew up to be sex repulsed. and she wonders why I never talk to her about sex. and she acts like she did nothing wrong by hiding sex from me for 18 years. now I'm an adult and scared of intimacy and it's something I have to fix myself, even though I was told I would go to hell for even thinking about it. it all sucks.
