● He does find it cute how small you are compared to him, specially when you're hugging or cuddling and you look tiny. You're a bit engulfed in his arms, but it's okay because it makes you feel safe

● Absolutely ready to be called for help reaching stuff or seeing over crowds. He has no trouble picking you up or letting you sit on his shoulders. Would be great for concerts, honestly

● Probably calls you "little angel" or something like that and if you don't like it he'd correct himself like "I mean- big angel", like he does with Mikey

● The most mindful of the four about the height difference, he leans down or sits with you for kisses, etc

▲▲ Leonardo ▲▲ ● Listen, listen, he loves you, but that doesn't mean you're safe from him making jokes about it. Of course he doesn't do it aaaall the time, but one once in a while is to be expected

● Loves to use your head as an arm rest when he's teasing you. He also has tried to pick you up like a cat, much to your dismay

● Gives you lots of nicknames regarding it, "shorty" "shortcake" "smurf". It's not constant because he has plenty of other nicknames for you, but they do come around

● Makes you stand on your tiptoes for pecks, but that's how far his teasing goes. He leans for actual kisses and the like

● He's prideful when you ask him help to reach something, but he does take care of not leaving anything too high for your comfort

▌▌Donatello ▌▌ ● Not too fazed about your height, he doesn't point it out either. Sometimes he does forget to look down when talking to you

● If you have conflict about your height he'd offer to build tech for you, it's not to compensate it's to optimize, or so he says

● Maybe extendable-retractable platforms for your shoes, or maybe a gadget like his spider arms to reach stuff? He'd like to know what you'd find more useful

● He finds it cute when you hug him and he can really notice the height difference. He likes it when you share his big hoodie and your head sticks out right under his own

● I think taking pictures with taller or shorter people is sometimes difficult but I think you can trust his selfies with you to be just right

⬤⬤ Mikey ⬤⬤ ● He's a bit surprised when he notices you're actually shorter than him, but he doesn't really think too much about it

● He really really likes holding you and resting his chin on top of your head. He just feels very close to you and comfy that way

● He's not the tallest person either, but cooperation makes the difference. For reaching really high up stuff you either get on top of his shoulders or he teaches you how to climb safely

● He knows the advantages and struggles, so where he can help you, he does. But you also enjoy getting the best out of it together. Being able to shop in the kid's section? Shielding from the sun by just standing next to the other three? Hell yeah

▉ ▉ Raphael ▉ ▉ ● It was a quiet night, you and Raph were cuddling in his room, just enjoying the silence and time together. He puts you on top of his plastron, since that way you have more room

● He was ready to fall asleep, thinking that you were already in dreamland due to your slow and soft breathing

● "I love you, (y/n)" he says, kissing your forehead and shifting slowly to get more comfy. "…I love you more"

● Your voice but a whisper, it takes him a bit to register that you spoke and then a bit more to process the words

● Raph's response is hugging you tighter, closer to him, if possible. He knows he's not too great with words, so he wishes to convey how much you mean to him through the contact

● The squeeze got a giggle out of you, knowing very well what it meant. "Goodnight" you murmured, nuzzling to finally drift off. "Night"

▲▲ Leonardo ▲▲ ● Leo and you are watching some movies, in onesies and with soft blankets on top, overall feeling very cozy and calm. He shifted closer, surrounding you with one arm to guide your head to his shoulder. Resting his cheek against the top of your head, he casually says it. "I love you"

● "I love you more" was your immediate response, and he chuckled. "That's very sweet dear, but I think it's obvious that I love you more, since I'm a turtle"

● "What does that have to do with anything?" you shifted to look up at him, seeing his grin widen, like he had expected this to happen and was ready… oh no…

● "Because I'm turtley in love with you!". Leo proudly delivered the punchline to his joke, God, that may be the worst pun you've ever heard

● You just kissed his cheek and immediately slammed a cushion on his face, focusing back on the movie as he whinned about you not appreciating his "comedy" enough or something like that

▌▌Donatello ▌▌ ● Both of you are in his lab, he's working on some blueprints and concepts for new tech while you do your own thing. Reading a book, playing some games. However, the calm atmosphere shifted when you began hearing mumbling, and paper being ripped and crumpled into a ball that you raised your eyes just in time to see fall right into the trash

● You rose from your seat, walking up to peek at the table from over his shoulder. Donnie was obviously struggling with one of his sketches, as he tapped the pencil repeatedly on the paper

● "And if you move this, to there?" you suggested, pointing at the parts you talked about. Not that you were an expert, but being around Donnie exposed you to his designs enough to make a good guess

● "(y/n), you're a genius! I love you!" he said, taking your face into his hands to land a quick kiss on your cheek. "I love you more" you giggled. "That doesn't sound correct, because I love you more, but I'd have to do the calculations later"

● "Well, according to MY calculations, I love you more", you pushed his shoulder playfully. He laughed as he went back to his prints. "I will give the victory to you this once, but next time I'll even have graphs to prove my point". "Donnie, no". "Donnie, yes!"

⬤⬤ Mikey ⬤⬤ ● Mikey and you sat back to back, he was doing some collages and you did your own projects. A pretty chill day, being honest

● It didn't surprise you when his voice perked up above the music you had playing in the background, to casually say "I love you!" in the cheerful tone he usually has. "I love you too, in fact, I love you more!" you replied, leaning a bit more into his shell, giving him a playful shove

● Mikey turned around enough to now be side by side, hugging you tightly like that, pressing his cheek to yours. You returned the hug as much as you could, laying your hands atop the arm surrounding your front

● "Nuh-uh, I love you moooore!" he said. You giggled. "Nope! I love you more". "No, I love you more, (y/n)" "No, I love you more" "No, I love you more". You and Mikey were the couple of "Noo, you hang uuup~", and it showed, it extended to this kind of "banter" too

● However, this one ended soon enough after you heard the collective groaning from his brothers. You both just laughed one more time before resuming your activities, though, you kept the cheesy lovey-dovey grins, just to bother the others~

It's a reference from 2012 tmnt when Leonardo sees karai for the first time,like,he was searching for his brothers kinda pissed because they never listen to him and he is the leader and all that stuff,so when he see her knowing she's from the foot clan they fight but,more like to release the tension but Leo feel enchanted by karai,in the end she's just go away saying her name and that they will see each other again.

So,the idea is Rise!Leo x reader (female or neutral, your choise) in this scenario,i think this would be so different and probably funny because well,it's Rise Leonardo we talking about lol.

Leo's first meeting with a foot recruit reader (Scenario)

It was a quiet night for Leo, sometimes he liked going to the surface alone to take a breather and practice some skateboard tricks on railings as everyone slept in the big city. He was sitting at the edge of a roof, enjoying a warm slice of the pizza that for Hueso's relief, Leo had ordered to go.

The cold breeze and lights helped his mind to slow down for a moment and process his day, it was so easy to let go and just relax as his thoughts came and went with no trouble. He was wondering if he should go and rent a Lou Jitsu movie before heading back home when… down an alley, he notices shadows moving, catching his atenttion.

At first, he attempts to ignore it, but mind Raph appears to nag remind him that as a "hero", it's his "duty" to at least make sure it's no trouble. And so, he sighs, closes the lid of the pizza box and descends jumping, landing as quietly and as near as possible to the place he saw the movement.

His eyes adjust to the shadows and he sees… nothing. Huh…

"Welp! Nothing to do then!" Leo says, standing tall and turning around to go back to his snack but, because things always go wonderfully for him, instead he finds himself surrounded by a number of foot clan recruits. "Guess I spoke too early" he says. Everything is still and silent, it's a matter of who makes the first move.

Leo's voice is the one breaking the atmosphere "Look, it's late, you're all probably tired from doing Foot-sy things all day. How about we just say you surrendered and I let you go home after a crimeless-fightless night, yeah? How about it?". Two recruits jumping onto him to attack was the response, to pretty much nobody's surprise. "And I'm supposed to be the face, huh"

Being honest, Leo fights his way through the group rather quickly, a small number of enemies wasn't a problem anymore. Dodging, jumping, some hits here and there and there they went, to the floor. He grins for a moment, admiring the short time it took him to get everyone knocked out, thinking how much his abilites have improved. Well, anyways!

He makes the motion of dusting off his hands, leaning his body on the handle of his sword and ready to enjoy the rest of his night when again, something caught his attention. Though, this time, it wasn't a noise, nor movement he saw… it was like he was being watched still, the presence of someone else he hadn't detected before.

Leo took his sword once again, not moving from where he stood. He looked right… then left… no, it was… it was from above. He rose the sword, making it as if he was going to sheathe it, using the reflective surface of the blade to try to see what or who was behind him… and then he saw it, a metallic glint. His eyes widened for a moment, but he had just enough time to turn around and deflect the kunai that came at high speeds towards his back.

More and more kunai flew at him from different directions, all of which he either deflected or dodged, but still, it was a speed and quantity that had him struggling to find the source of the attacks. The mysterious enemy, on the other hand was realizing that the distant approach wasn't going to work, time to change the strategy then.

With a flash and swift movement that would've taken anybody else off guard, you jumped from the dark, charging forward with blades coming out of your gauntlets as your main weapon. It was like slow motion, when you two met eyes, the wind moving some hair out of the visible half of your face, the ends of his mask floating along… and then time sped up again with the clash of the sword blocking you once more.

The defensive move made you jump back a few meters away, landing with your fists ready for anything else. Leo finally had an objective, but what surprised him was that he heard a chuckle. "I'm impressed, so what the others say it's true… Well, that means there's something entertaining in this place" you said.

You had been called to the city to join the main group of the foot clan as it was progressing in completing the dark armor, and had heard from other members and leaders about some mutant turtles that were a hindrance towards the cause, causing constant trouble among the ranks with impressive skills that they would mention here and there.

And well, you considered yourself among the best fighters of the whole clan, if not the very best, so you totally had to put that to the test. Maybe that way you'd at least have some decent fights if they could keep up with you, or even one-up you… turns out that's the case.

Leo had no idea what you were talking about from the look of his face. "Uh, and you are?" he motioned at you with one hand, kind of expecting a presentation. "Your opponent, that should be sufficient for now. Don't drop your guard so quickly!" you responded. You went back to the attacks, swinging your fists targeting mainly the chest and lower body.

The turtle moved swiftly, he managed the sword amazingly quickly to block everything he couldn't dodge, moving in circles to try getting himself behind you and twirl his weapon again to land a hit. All the movements were quick, the clash of metal sounding time and time again as you were now standing with your arms in front of you in a defensive manner.

You repelled the sword and tried to distract him with a new wave of kunai, however something you didn't expect happened. He swung the sword at… the air? Then a blue circle of light appeared in front of him, and whatever that was, it engulfed every single projectile inside it, like a void.

Then another circle opened to your side, and the knifes came out flying in your direction instead, making you drop to a squat to avoid them. This got a laugh from him. "What? Kunai-d you see it coming?". Oh, that was… bad. Your brow visibly furrowed, deciding to round kick him from where you were on the ground, sweeping his feet and making him fall on his back as retaliation.

Now you were the one laughing. "I'll admit you got me in turtle shock for a second there". For a moment, you two laughed at the pun. "You're not half bad" he said, sitting up. "Funny, I was going to say the same about you", you answered, returning the grin although the mask you had on would hide it.

Next moment, you were back at it. One kick here, one cut there. Seen from afar, it looked like a dance: push, pull, step forward, step back, one side, the other side, a turn, repeat. Your movements and his looked almost coordinated, like a pre-choreographed fight, one you knew by heart and were acting out perfectly.

Breathless, you two stopped at the same distance from eachother, his sword to your neck, and a knife of yours to his. And all was still again. Then, something gave off an alarm in your pocket, a signal that your presence was required somewhere else. You heard it sound twice and you almost wished it would stop but you had to go.

In the blink of an eye, you were now meters away, on a rail to have a higher ground again. Leonardo dropped his arm to his side, putting the other hand to his chest and acting all hurt as he said "Hey hey hey, I thought we had something special here and now you're leaving. What, is there another blue turtle you gotta go fight… em, sorry, didn't catch your name".

You laughed once more, well, after all that you at least had respect towards his as an opponent, so why not? "The name is (y/n), we'll see each other again!". And with a puff of smoke, you were gone.

Leo stood for a moment to allow his heart to slow down, it felt like you had fought for hours but somehow it didn't seem to have been too long. He dusted himself off, looking over to a few cuts on his arms, nothing too bad honestly, but far more than he expected or felt happening.

Slowly, more tired, he goes back to the roof to retrieve his pizza, and he stares into the sleeping city before him one more time, not knowing precisely what he feels.

That fight was so… interesting, the way you two moved from one point to another, the way you joked back at him, the way you two had a smile on your faces for that last part of the encounter. The way you were both giving it your all but also somehow wanted it to last longer, as if you weren't adversaries but rather sparring partners having fun. Fun… Hmmm.

He picked up the box, still a bit warm, and started heading home. Thinking that, if you were to meet again he'd have to train a little more, and that if each time you met was going to be that fun… well, he wouldn't mind if it happened more often.

Hello anon, thank you for asking this, it's very kind of you. I'll post this and then if you don't mind, I'll add it to the pinned post! Also thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoy my silly writing! So for general things I will write whoever, turtles, Draxum, Casey Jr, Todd, probably villains (except the Kraang) too because they're interesting. Specially Hypno, I love Hypno. I'm not confident on writing the Mud Dogs individually but as a group I can try. For platonic and family relationships it's the same, idk how it would work with some baddies but I'm not against it. Like, maybe hc about reader being unlikely friends with Warren or Repo Mantis, or being Ghostbear's kid or protegee? Yeah I'm up for that. For romantic stuff I only write for the turtle bois, April, and Cassandra, tho be warned I'm working on getting her personality just right. (Maybe Casey Jr down the line but I need to watch the movie more times before I'm comfy, will update this once that happens). Hope this clears the doubts you had!

Halloween headcanons!

● I have the idea that halloween, besides when they go to conventions, is the day when our dearest turtles can go around the city as they please. Perhaps even some days before and a few after, since people would see them and think they're going to a costume party

● I like to think that a halloween night was one of the first (if not the very first) times that the four of them went to the surface to explore

● Maybe Splinter would go with them the first few years, and from then on Raph took on the torch of keeping an eye out for his brothers as they all went around asking for candy

● And I just adore imagining the little tots going hand in hand, as to not lose each other around crowded places, with costumes they made or got some other way

● Group costumes! So many group costumes and even more so after they met April!

● I feel like growing up wouldn't stop them from still going out that night, though even if they don't do group costumes as much anymore, they at least tell each other what theirs is going to be. Because last time they didn't, they all showed up as Lou Jitsu

● And I mean all of them, even April. It's funnier if you think that by that time they already knew Cassandra and find her as Lou Jitsu too

● Raph and Mikey are all in for the candy exclusively, but Leo, Donnie and April are not above a prank or two. They make up quite the trio

● One year they covered all time square with toilet paper, it was a team effort between April's creativity, Leo's strategies and Donnie's chaotic genius. It was the talk around town for a few weeks, it's still brought up every year and people wonder if the same prankster will strike again someday... and they will, they just need to prepare a bit more...

● They don't exactly have a door that kiddies can knock, so I'm thinking that maybe, most likely Raph, carries a big bag of candy now that he's older, and gives a handful to all kids that he sees while on their walk

● Speaking of candy, we know that Splinter would eat the boy's sweets. So I'm pretty sure they all have places where they hide them ever since childhood, and Raph starts guarding the give-out-candy a week prior so the stash is as intact as possible for the big day

● If a store or food place has some special promotion about getting a discount or free stuff if you go in costume, you BET they take advantage of it. Sometimes they even get compliments on how seamless the costumes are

● In other general halloween-y related stuff, I imagine that Leo even if a skeptic, likes watching horror movies, though I have a feeling that he'd enjoy slashers more

● Donnie would only like old school horror movies or very niche ones, because he hates how predictable every jump scare is and specially how dumb the characters are sometimes

● He's a more horror book type of guy, and he is that one person that corrects others each time they refer to Frankenstein's creature as only "Frankenstein"

● Mikey, we know, he's not too fond of ghosts, though he's curious and still watches movies with the rest… behind the safety of a big pillow or Raph

● Raph… I think that he's pretty okay with anything, if it's not about evil toys coming to life, I think he's good. Still would rather watch Coraline, Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas and other spooky movies over scary ones

● Okay but, imagine them carving pumpkins

● Raph would do either something Ghostbear related, or, a very tiny kitty face. Leo would try to have his pumpkin be the scariest looking with a big wide toothy grin and all. Donnie uses his tech for it, I think him fully capable of carving his own face and have the flame be purple

● Mikey would have a very artsy one, he'd carve something more intricate, maybe a family portrait, or a character he likes, or like scary looking trees. The only one that uses actual carving tools. Maybe he paints some pumpkins too instead of carving them, idk it just seems he'd have a lot of fun

That there's no other option or no more argument about it; and then s/o pull from his plaston (chest) and kiss him on the lips, with an explosion in the background. "You better come back." They say firmly, to not cry. Rise! Turtles reaction? Think that It might be their FIRST KISS❣️

What an interesting request, anon!

For this I pictured Leo already being the leader, probably post-movie (dw, no spoilers included). Maybe whatever is going is not as big or intense, but it might be a tad too close to it happening, and so everyone is uneasy about the safety of loved ones. Also tried to make each kiss different and all, hope you enjoy!

● It wasn't long after the fight took a turn for the worst that you felt being picked up. And once your brain catches up with that fact, you look up to see Raph is getting you away from the heat of battle in his arms, placing you down in a far enough place so that no enemy would target you. "(y/n), stay here, don't try anything, okay? It's getting more serious than expected and I need ya safe in case that-" You didn't let him finish

● You took advantage since he was leaning down so you'd hear him over the noise, put your hands on his shoulders and pulled him into a harsh kiss. You tried so hard to convey what you felt with it, with how you held onto him with all you had, kind of to convince yourself that you could stop him from going away… but you knew he had to go… he had to, right?

● You parted and looked him in the eye with a stern look, well, with the most stern look you could muster while trembling a bit and fighting back tears, keeping him at your height. Your heart couldn't take something like that again, not again. "You better come back, Raph! Come back safe, okay?"

● Raph on the other hand had the blankest face you've ever seen on him, one could say that you almost could hear the gears inside his head trying to process what just happened. Of everything he had thought could happen, this wasn't one, he didn't even think you could pull him like that ?? His face was red for sure, if his skin wasn't green, it would've matched his bandana…

● "RAPH!" Leo's voice broke the silence between you two, bringing Raphael to his senses. He looked away to where his brothers where fighting, then back at you, and this time, his expression was full of what you recognized as love. In his eyes a look between worry, relief, nervousness, a furrowed brow… and he had a small smile on his lips. It was conflicting, but you could see it, love

● Raph surrounded you once again with his arms, now in a tight hug. "Stay safe, I'll be careful, I promise". He patted your head gently as he heard you choking back a sob… Then he let go. Turning his back to you, he gave you one last big smile over his shoulder, before jumping away to face danger once more

● But now it was different somehow, because his heart wasn't speeding only from the adrenaline, the nervous bubble in his stomach combined with the butterflies… he felt bigger, stronger… like he could smash anything in his path if it means going back home to you. And he would… No, he will

● Battle is getting harsh and Leo stays behind the team to watch the fight from "outside" to help with his strategies. His eyes go from one side to the other, his mind coming up with ideas as fast as it can, that's when his gaze lands on you, not too far from him, trying to search for something to use as a weapon. Leo now looks back to the battle, then to you, the battle again… No, he couldn't have you risking yourself, not this time

● He rushes to be in front of you, swords ready. "Got this big pipe, it's gotta be of use, right?" you smiled at him, lifting your findings for him to see. "Let's go with the re- Leo?" you stop after meeting his eyes, he had a serious look on him, only then did you notice he stood right where he did to block your way

● "Leo, what-" you started to say but a swing of the sword froze you in place, and a portal opened behind you. "Sorry, (y/n), it's too dangerous for you" Leonardo finally spoke, and if he said something like that… you guess you can't argue much. You look back to the light blue light that will probably take you home or to the lair, you sigh and put the pipe down. However, when you rise, you keep looking down and ball your hands into fists, which worried the turtle "(y/n)?"

● You snapped your head back up, and with a swift movement, grabbed him by the chest and pulled him in for a kiss. You closed your eyes, so you couldn't see his reaction, but you heard the swords dropping to the floor, and felt hands ghosting above your back, as if unsure to hold you or not. When you part, you look at him with furrowed brows. "You better come back! Don't do something stupid, you hear me?"

● Leo tried following your lips but was stopped by your demand. If he's honest, he was feeling nervous about the fight, but his hands shake a bit for a different reason now, he stares at you, speechless for once in his life. What is he supposed to say in a moment like that? He chooses to not reply with words, rather… this time he is the one that pulls you for another one

● His goofy grin grows when he sees you being speechless, though he knows it won't last long so he rushes to say "When I get back, you owe me another!" and with that, he pushes you through the portal, closing it in a flash before anything else could happen. He stood still a second more, feeling the giddiness the kiss brought him, drinking it for a bit just before charging to battle

● He feels a bit more confident now, he has better spirits, victory is the only option if he wants to get his "reward", right? No way he's going to stop at just one though… He dashes through enemies, chiming in with a "Okay, I have something very important to get to, so let's make this quick, shall we?"

▌▌Donatello ▌▌

● You didn't even see him coming, it all happened very quickly. You got a baddie off your back in one hit but suddenly saw yourself surrounded, a circle closing in on you. Thats when Donatello dived in with his flying battle shell to scoop you up. After a few moments, however, you noticed that instead of dropping you back into battle like he sometimes does, you're being taken farer and farer away

● Once far enough, he got you both to land safely, though, before you could ask what was up, Donatello turned around and pressed something on his arm and talked into it. "Shelldon, I need you to come and take (y/n) to the lair, quickly!", you think you heard the robot responding but it was cut short with a beep that ended communication

● He spoke again, this time to you. "I need you to stay here and get back with Shelldon. Everything at the lair is ready for security, in case that-"… he couldn't get himself to say more. "Donnie?". He was moving away but you followed his steps. He wasn't speaking much, but the tone he used and the way you could see the tension in his body, you could guess he was remembering the Kraang incident.

● "Okay, I'll go" you said in a softer voice, and you saw how his shoulders dropped for a moment. You wanted to do something, it's such bad timing for it but you too didn't want to take risks you'd regret… You got closer, standing by his side, looking at the fight down and far below. A glint of purple in the sky got your atenttion and you knew right there that you didn't have much time

● You turned to look at him and put a hand on his shoulder. "Donnie, can you look at me one second?" you asked, feeling your heart beating so hard you were sure he could hear it. When he complied, you used the hand on his shoulder to pull him closer, you hesitated a bit, just enough to catch his surprised eyes staring at you before you finished what you started and landed a gentle kiss on his lips

● It was quick, although you almost felt like time stopped for that moment alone. When you parted, Donatello had such a confused look that it made you giggle. "Please come back safe" you said, now you being the one walking away, since Shelldon had arrived a few seconds before and you made your way to him. "See you at the lair!" was the last thing Donatello heard before you were whisked away

● If anybody else had been there, they would've seen how Donnie was babbling, not getting past "I- uh- uh-", finally putting a hand to his lips, did he just- no, did you just-? A moment of pause… And then, a giddy explosion, Donatello would absolutely give himself a moment to celebrate he got his first kiss, he "rides the feeling" as he says. A moment later he charges right back into battle, with new determination and something to rub in his brother's faces tell his dearest brothers once they're done with it all

⬤⬤ Mikey ⬤⬤

● Things were getting out of control, it was too much for you to handle you assessed. You mentally prepared for a hard battle when an enemy jumped at you, bracing yourself for impact you prepared what you had in your hands to strike back but, a glowing chain got to the baddie before you did

● "(y/n), you okay?" the youngest turtle asked, landing next to you and checking quickly if you had any injuries. You nodded. "Yes, thank you, Mikey! For a second I thought I was done for" you joked lightly but perhaps it wasn't a good moment for that you noticed, because his expression changed quickly to a sad and worried one

● "I'm sorry, I was joking…" but it fell on deaf ears, Mikey had already worked his chains to wrap somewhere high and you thought he'd leave you there. But no. He quickly took you by the waist, and you two went swinging fast from one point to another, until the noise of the fight was distant, only then did he let go of you

● "Listen, (y/n), you gotta stay away, okay? It's not safe for you" he spoke with his hands, moving his arms up and down indicating you to stay put. "Do I have a say in this?" you asked, crossing your arms, you could help even if just a bit… right? "Not at all, nuh-uh" he concluded shaking his head and mimicking your body language. "I've seen unsafe and trust me it is"

● You sigh. Okay, you can stay back and away, but that won't get rid of your nerves, of your worries. At least if you were there you could keep an eye on him and know he was okay, but now you wouldn't know, you wouldn't be sure until it was over, truly over… "Mikey, I need to give you something before you go" you said, getting his full atenttion. What could it be?

● You got closer, quickly slapped your hands on his face, squishing his cheeks a bit, and pulled him in for a kiss. It was a bit quick and probably not the best, but hey, you did what you could with the little to no experience you had. You parted to see Mikey's eyes were wide open, you kept him close and said "You better come back safe, Michelangelo!" You let go of him and a wide grin spread on his lips, full of giggles as he rubbed the back of his neck. Oh wow, that was- that was… great!

● He hugged you happily, allowing you two to forget the situation at hand for a second. Then, he nodded to reassure you. He got ready to jump away… oh wait, just one more thing. "Can I have another one to go?" he asks. You roll your eyes but comply, giving him a quick peck and earning a new burst of giggles. "Thanks, see ya soon, (y/n)!" and off he went swinging back to fight with all he got. As you watch him go, you swore you heard a loud and cheerful "WOOHOOO!"

● If you can control the color of the flame (with heat or as an additional ability) and whatnot, he'd secretly enjoy and be proud that you make your flames redder because/for him. You got to admit that red is a great colour!

● If you don't have a catch phrase, he probably insists that 1) Yes, of course it's important and necessary 2) He's more than happy to help you come up with it

● But of course it's gotta do with fire

● Maybe "Get burned!" or "Feel the heat!" ? Eh, it's a work in progress

● "Do you activate it at will? Can it happen without thinking? Is it a chemical reaction that you ignite somehow?"

● Truth is… you don't have all the answers. But, you allow him to try and figure it out… if he can, that is

● He is more than happy to provide you with tech to enhance your powers, or just tech that is helpful for you, perhaps more on the defensive side.

● And he adds an extinguisher feature… just in case. You never know

● If your powers can come up without intent, and they happen to give you a hard time sometimes, he also would come up with something to prevent that or contain it better. Let's say that it can be a really useful gift when in public

● He finds it very very cool, specially because you share the element

● Can you imagine how good you are as a fighting duo? Oh mi gosh…

● What if he was able to make some fire, and basically pass it to you like a basketball for you to take and bash a baddie with? It must be really fun, you two would look flowy and dynamic!

● I like to think that Mikey is into every kind of art, so writing is one, of course

● He'd write poetry after being inspired by seeing you using your fire, how graceful it can look, like a dance. He likes to watch you and focus on the way the flames move alongside you and the streaks of light they make in darker spaces

Ok I just read your easily fluster reader x rise!Leo, and wanted to take it the other way-

What if he's super smooth when the person Leo's flirting with has an embarrassed reaction, but he's trying to flirt with Y/N, who has very little dignity and is very competitive, to the point of outflirting Leo, and making him extremely embarrassed and flustered 😈. And Leo can't find something for them to be embarrassed about! Personal space? Grew up with a bunch of siblings, no such thing. Physical contact? They love it, can't get enough. Seemingly awkward situation? Diffuse it by not acting awkward about it.

Have it be frustrating to him, not be able to get a reaction out of them. Then, one day, he could figure it out- baby pictures. They're embarrassed about their baby pictures and being caught doing something goofy.

I'm not sure if this aligns with what you wanted or expected but, it's just where creativity took me.

Loved to think that Leo's flirting works better when he barely tries and reader is a bit more open to it, anyways, I present to you:

Leo and his journey to fluster a competitive, unaffected reader

● It all began when Leo decided to start flirting with you…

● "Hey, (y/n)! How's the most beautiful person in the world doing today?" he chimed with a wink, doing some finger guns as his brothers either cheered him on or were awaiting his failure, he couldn't tell, he only heard some giggles

● The pick up line took you off guard for a moment, however, after blinking twice, a grin that mimicked Leo's spread across your lips. "I don't know, how are YOU doing today?"

● Leo opened his eyes wide, his posture shifted, completely taken aback as he didn't expect this outcome at all. He mumbled, tripped over his words "Uh- I uh- That wasn't- I mean- Huh?" and a flush of red got to his cheeks

● "I'll take it you're doing alright!" you giggled and moved past him to catch up with the others before they could snatch the first slice of pizza. And Leo? Well, he finished processing what just happened as he turned around to watch you walk away, oh no, nononono no way he was the one left flustered… Where did that even come from? No no, he had to come up with something to get back at you, he had to, and so came forth the rest of his attempts

● Next time, he tried talking with you as he leaned on a wall, pulling off the classic pose so he could be closer if he wished so. And he did wish so, and he'd slowly lean more trying to close on your personal space but the proximity didn't seem to bother you either. You, in turn, could read him like a book and so you just kept looking at him in the eye, smiling and chatting as usual

● "Hey Leo! Where did ya put the Cheetos?!" Mikey's voice called out, and the second Leo looked away to answer, you took advantage to take him by the shoulders, spin you both around and have him against the wall. With you now being the one "trapping" him

● His brain catches up with the last few seconds after a bit. "Wha- when?" he asks, finding himself once again caught off guard. "It's your turn having somewhere to lean on, Leo, we don't want your back getting all tired, right?" you said innocently with a wink and a smile

● It doesn't even matter if you're shorter than him, he gets flustered from both how you turned tables on him and how close you get. He feels somewhat small when you're the one taking iniciative on this and he doesn't know if he hates it or loves it, it's so conflicting!

● But he blushes more when Mikey comes around thinking he wasn't heard the first time "Leo, where did you- Oh- Oops, sorry! I'll ask Raph if he's seen them" the younger turtle speed walked away as Leo tried to say "It's not like that! Mikey! Don't leave me here!" to no avail

● Leo is sitting on his bed, recounting events from the last weeks… He had tried hugging you from behind all romantic according to him, and you only giggled before hugging him back and initiating a group hug with everyone. Right… you liked physical affection. Okay, then he had invited you to train with him and teach you to use his swords, thinking he could be all suave and be behind you, with his hands over yours as he taught you to properly hold one blade but… you kinda wanted to do it on your own since "I've watched you do it hundreds of times, I'm sure I learnt something already!" or so you said

● Chocolates? Flowers? Received with a sweet thank you and a hug. Cooking for you? Well… you did like microwaved mac and cheese, but alright not his best attempt on wooing. No pick up line he threw at you worked, it was like you were ready with a bat to send them right back at him, nothing, nothing was working! Were you that oblivious? Were you making fun of him? Did you simply not like him that way and this is how you told him to take the L? Goddamnit… What did he have to do? Serenade you? No no, perhaps you'd mistake it as a karaoke session or even serenade him back

● The worst part for him is that YOU were the one landing all the blows, you had fed him a chocolate telling him to go "Ahhh" and GOD, did that make him weak! You were incredibly good with his sword for a beginner, and even with messy clothes and hair after training, to him you looked stunning. You kissed him on the cheek as a thank you for the food… It kinda seemed like all he did while trying to make you fall for him, was setting himself up to fall even harder for you. Even thinking about it again made him blush and sigh loudly as he fell back on the bed, unsure on what to feel

● That's when he heard music in the distance … Wait, music? Wasn't he alone in the lair?

● "SHELLDON?" he sat up again and called for the robot but nobody answered… weird. Leo went around looking for his brothers and father but found the lair empty, however, the music seemed to be coming from the arcade room and so he walked towards it, thinking Donatello had left some machine on or something but- oh-

● There you were, on the DDR, jumping happily on the pad to a loud pop song. He'd never seen you try that game out, he even kind of thought you didn't like it… well, until now

● The music came to an end alongside the score screen, you were a bit bummed that you didn't even make it to top ten but oh well… then you heard clapping. Clapping… you turned your face over your shoulder quickly, startled like a deer in headlights, oh no…

● Leo stopped clapping, with a genuine smile on his face. "That was great, (y/n)! Didn't know you got the moves!" his steps took him closer to the machine. "You know, I thought you didn't like to- (y/n)?". Was he seeing wrong? Was it the neon pink light from the game? Were you… were you blushing??

● "How long were you there?" you asked, sinking to your knees to hug them and hide your burning face, you thought you looked goofy when dancing, that's why you had come in to try the game out only when you thought everyone was out… Mikey didn't mention Leo had stayed, you thought they had all went out…

● "Uh, not long. You okay, though?" Leo kneeled beside you. "Something wrong?" He put a hand on your shoulder to soothe you, did he do something bad?

● "Yes, just, this is so embarassing" he heard your muffled voice say. "What is? Dancing?". You nodded. "You got flustered because I caught you dancing?" his voice got a bit loud and you shushed him, as if anybody else could've heard the conversation. "Yes!"

● Leo, once again, had to blink twice to get stuff to sink it. He laughed but not at you, more like at himself, all his attempts at getting you flustered, all the different plans, and the one thing that made it possible is something he didn't even see coming

● "Sorry". A chuckle. "Sorry, I'm not making fun of you" he said, patting you on the back. "I think you dance very well, you wanna play together?" Leo suggested, standing up

● You looked up to see how he was extending his hand to you, which you accepted and let yourself be pulled up

● You didn't know if it was the light, the silence, the angle or something else, but in that moment, with a calm smile and gentle gaze, with a firm hold on your hand… Leo looked a certain way, a way that made you perhaps stare a bit… a way that maaaaybe made your blush grow and reach your ears

● You decided to just return his smile, turn to the screen and hurry to choose another song. The blush was still present but you associated it with allowing him to watch you dance, yeah, surely it's that and definitely not because of the way he gave you a wink before stretching dramatically to get ready

● "Are you prepared to lose, (y/n)? I'll have you know that I'm great at videogames". You laughed and had a more confident smile this time "I'm gonna kick your butt, Leon! Loser pays the pizza!"
