the google reviews for doc odyssey are absolutely littered with one star reviews from middle aged straight people who don't realize they're watching a ryan murphy psychosexual melodramedy featuring a toxic workplace throuple 😔 they're evaluating the medical accuracy of the boat doctor rescues (which btw include such bangers as 'guy who ate too much shrimp and almost died because of it' disease, 'girl whose face melted off because she did too much cocaine after getting a nose job' syndrome, and 'woman who gave herself third degree frost bite by icing her boob job too much' emergency). they think they're experiencing a normal procedural which features cartoonishly macho heterosexuality and an unprofessional love triangle. who is going to tell them that they have no frame of reference for what they're witnessing.

Please sign this petition to tell @DanaherCorp that their test prices are too much. Why should someone have to spend ALL their money just to get a test? Medicine should not be a luxury. #TimeFor5 #PeopleOverProfits

I am just a humble unpaid intern for a coffee company that donates its profit to charity, but I will tell you motherfuckers one thing: if you try to steal money from the poor via treating or diagnosing tuberculosis, you will remember the name nerdfighteria.

image ID: the destiel breaking news meme, but after cas says "i love you", dean replies:
cas, danaher corporation and it’s subsidiary company cepheid are still charging tuberculosis (TB) patients in low- and middle-income countries $10–$20 to access quick and accurate testing despite the fact that cepheid’s genexpert machine tests were developed with at least $252 million in taxpayer money and doctors without borders found out that the tests only cost $3–$4.50 to produce. TB is a major cause of death and disability, not to mention that the inaccessibility of these tests leads to the spread of drug resistant TB around the globe.
it’s #timefor5. find out how you can help at tbfighters.org

You've probably never heard of the corporation Danaher.
That's how they like it. It allows them to Reverse Robin Hood their way to profits gleaned from the world's poorest people.
But that ends today. We're shining a light on Danaher's business practices. And we're gonna keep shining that light--and make Danaher and their Very Private Executives famous--until they stop price-gouging the world's poorest countries for lifesaving TB diagnostics.

The ONLY ending I don’t want for Good Omens is Aziraphale and Crowley becoming human. I’ve seen the whole “Immortals become human” thing done before, and it always feels unsatisfying to me. After everything they’ve been through, they deserve more than a small handful of years of peace and happiness. Crowley deserves to be able to see his nebula grow to full maturity.

Jonhson & Johnson Shady Business and Tuberculosis
All information is in this video by John Green, the intern behind @sizzlingsandwichperfection-blog: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMhgw5SW0h4&ab_channel=vlogbrothers
The important bits:
Johnson & Johnson is a pharma company that in 2003 invented the first tuberculosis medicine since like the 60s. They got a patent, because they like money. That patent expires in just a few days, which means that now other companies should be able to make way cheaper versions.
However they also got a patent in 2006 or so (I forgot the date already), for a specific bit that makes the medicine work a bit better. They are going to enforce this patent in large parts of the world, to prevent other companies from making cheap versions of the original medicine.
This is going to cost roughly 6 million lives, due to the number of people who will remain unable to afford the medicine between the expire of these medicines.
To protest against this, this post is part of a social media campaign of shaming the company and *respectfully* approaching its employees and directors to tell them this is bad, and furthermore to try to get generic versions of their stuff to also hit their profit margin.
This is a provided picture of a number of their products.
And these are their generic socials. Remember, don't act like you did when you bullied John off of tumblr, be polite but angry.
Tell them on twitter: https://twitter.com/JNJNews and https://twitter.com/JNJGlobalHealth Tell them on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jnj/ Tell them on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jnj/?hl=en
Again, further information in the video linked at the top.
