Senior High School Memories

In my 17 years of existence on earth, there are many experiences and challenges that helped me on shaping my whole self. These experiences are worth to be kept in my heart. I have lots of memories since I entered the new journey of being Senior High student. When I was in grade 11, I studied temporarily at Senior High School within NECS (Senior Uno). I can still remember my last few days in that school before I transfer in SHS in Tuy. Those days are memorable, simple yet worth it to be kept forever. My classmates are singing songs while someone is playing the guitar, we take pictures and groupies, and ate street foods after class while having some talk. July 19, 2018 was my last day on SHS within NECS, my last day with my fellow classmates, by that day I talked to my teachers and then I sat on my chair, put my earphones on but suddenly Gerald take it away from me. By that time, those men on the last row stand together then said, "Goodbye Sheryl ang Momoland ng HUMSS 1" I was shocked and I felt so sad. Then, there was a guy who went to the front of the class and spoke , "I wanna grab this opportunity para magpaalam....", That was his message for me, the suddenly he kneeled in front of me while handing his letter and a sketch of me. He asked me if he can court me but I refused his proposal. Everyone was surprised when I said "I'm sorry King pero di pwede", that was my decision and they didn't amend it.

On July 20, 2018 I went on SHS in Tuy with my parents and enrolled immediately. I talked to a lot of teachers and my new adviser told me to start my class that day. I wasn't really prepared, they saw it with my outfit . I was so shy and I felt so strange dealing with the new teachers and classmates but I keep saying on myself that I can overcome it all.

When I was already at SHS in The, I became part of SHS in The athletes as a volleyball player. We also had a fashion show in Oral Communication where I danced without practicing and my partner in that activity was my friend who just passed away last year, Rommel Custodio.

September 28, 2018 - was the date when I first met a guy named Rich Marc personally and he treated me some snacks. The first time we saw each other, we both laughed, maybe we're just laughing about our faces, I really don't know why. Another memory was our declamation in Oral Communication where I really gave my best. Then the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Campaign, those moment I encountered faces who also became my new friends. We sang our campaign song and introduced ourselves, after that we were going to the office to drink coffee which became our bond.

In my next stepping stone which is the Grade 12, I can still feel how heartbreaking the moment when our section HUMSS 2 John Dewey was divided into two to be part on the remaining two sections. We're all sad and some cried because for us, it is really hard to be separated on people who you used to share your foods, laughs, smiles, secrets and jokes. After few days, we keep on our mind that it was part of our challenges in life and we continued our normal life.

Last year October 11, 2019 was our anniversary, Jawy surprised me even though he was busy that time. He don't have time but he find time for me. In this last year as a Senior High Student, we have an activity which is the Trends Fashion Show where I forced myself to wear short skirt and walk/ramp like a lady again. Make up was free and Jawy was always on my side to support me. Today, my last memory is the stage play in Philippine Politics. Everyone put an effort, we all worked hard and you can see the joy in everyone's eyes and heart.

I have lot of memories but those are just some of it. When I am remembering these memories, a smile is automatically formed in my lips. I was so grateful because these memories brought changes in my life. Changes that contributes on improving myself more.

Reflection (Thai Commercial)

The video is all about giving to anyone or helping who are in need without expecting something in return. In my own opinion, happiness is something that you can have if you are satisfied or contented. In my own experience, I am happy when I make other people smile. There is a satisfaction in my heart that makes me happy. Just like in the video, the man became happy when he is helping those people who are in need. There's a satisfaction in his heart in help other people that makes him happy. Even his standard of life is just an average, and sometimes when he gave all he have to those people there's nothing left with him. He is happy by helping not because of money. The things that money can't buy are happiness, love, contentment, and appreciation on the existence of anyone. This video taught us to help other people without expecting something in return. You can help anyone even if you're not rich. You can be happy if you doing this with all of your hearts. Right now, all I want is a peace of mind, true happiness and self time because today I can't find myself happy with the things that I'm doing. It's like I'm doing something because it is needed, because that's what they're expecting from me. I'm living my life obeying or going to the flow with the expectations of my family and relatives. There is a chaos on my mind which I want to solve.

Tuy, officially the Municipality of Tuy, (Tagalog: Bayan ng Tuy), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 43,743 people.

We know that the town is small , so you can't see any sea here. Even the small shops here are suprisingly , because of the town there are many who find it interesting.

Despite of lack in seas, there are many resorts in this town. 1st is Villa Gavanna and Villa Juliana that locate in Barangay Mataywanak . In this resort it opens at 7:00am and closes at 10:00 pm, everyone can enjoy staying here.

2nd is ElRio In Barangay Lumabangan Tuy , Batangas. It opens at 8:00 am and visitor is also can stay overnight.

It also has Alfamart store and 7 Eleven which are one of the famous convenience stores in the municipality.

Also we have a restaurant , TUY RETRO CLASSIC DINER❣️ Retro was located in Barangay Rizal , anyone can enjoy going and eating here because of their good services.

And We have also a Parish here , Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish Church in Luna. This is a Catholic Church wherein everyone is welcome to enter 😇.

He is Mr. Rich Marc B. Tenorio called as "RM", "Rich" or "Emm" is a 17 years old guy who lives in Toong Tuy, Batangas. His father is Mr. Richard Tenorio who works as a steward in a ship, while his mother is Mrs. Marivic Tenorio who takes care of the family as a housewife. Mr. Rich Marc has two (2) siblings whoa re both girls named as Richa May as the eldest and Yvaughn Rich May as the youngest on them. He is second on the three children of his parents. As the only son, he feel some pressure but he is happy as a son and brother of their family. Infoods, he really loves those dishes with soup because for him it is easier to eat and delicious at the same time. Wherever he is, his hobby is playing online games, surfing the net and discovering new things. There are lot of things you could like to someone but for Mr. Tenorio, the good attitude of a person is what he likes the most. When he was still young he really wants to become an engineer and until he grows up, his ambition is to become successful engineer because he wants to have a better life to support his family and provide their needs. There are lot of challenges he is facing in achieving his goals, and to achieve this he has a motto in life which is: "Don't work hard, work smart".

To my fellow filipinos,

Our own country are experiencing different kind of disasters that harms the human life. It is so hard to be safe nowadays. It is so hard to see many Chinese people drop on the floor and die. This kind of scene is really heartbreaking that also our co-filipino's are being my this dangerous and infectious disease which is the Novel Corona Virus (2019 NCoV). This brand new discovered virus fright to many people in the world.

There are some chinese people who are staying here in our country and as you browse your facebook newsfeed, you can see and read some posts of some filipinos who are practicing racism.. Chinese people only wanted to be safe, live longer and have a peaceful life. It doesn't mean that when you saw a chinese person or "chinita", even some Filipino's who coughed and sneezed on the jeeney or train, you'll distance yourself to them and look at them intimidately. Yeah! You're securing your safety qnd health but do you know what racism isn't the right thing to do because it acyually hurts them. My fellow filipinos, let's all stop this sh*t! We are created by God to love each other, so we need to protect and care for each other. Stop the Racism and being bias. In God's grace we can surpass it all.

My Autobiography…

I am Sheryl P. Berbie, I was born on the **th day of April in 200* and now I am ** years old. I’m staying in *******, *******, ******** since I was born, and for me this is the best home ever. I graduated at ******* Elementary School on the year ****, then I moved-up at ******* National High School last April 03, 20** and now, I currently studying at Senior High School in Tuy as a senior high student. My father is Mr. Felipe U. Berbie and my mother is Mrs. Ma. Mercedes P. Berbie. They are the best parents for me, they are working so hard for our needs. I have five (5) siblings who are composed of three (3) boys and two (2) girls, so all in all we are six (6) lovable and thoughtful children of Mr. and Mrs. Berbie.

When I’m bored, I always prefer watching anime, k-pop performances and videos, then reading science fiction and horror stories, and lastly cooking. I really love cooking food because it seems like I’m pouring my love on every recipe or menu that I’m preparing for anyone. But even though I love animated movies, I dislike playing online games like Mobile Legends, because for me it causes boredom and pain in my eyes. I also dislike eating inner organs/parts of meat such as liver, brain, intestines and also the seafood.

At the age of **, I experienced lots of struggles and challenges in life which make me stronger and better. I broke rules, I was hard headed but I’m doing my best to prove something. I moved up when I was Grade 10, with a medal and I also become the Vice President of the ERDA Scholarship which lead me to a better understanding of other people’s life.

In my age today, I can still remember one of the best childhood memories I have. My cousin’s and I are climbing the mango trees, then we will shake the branches and let the salagubang drop on the ground. We’re cutting their feet because it really hurts when it stick or touches your skin. After that, we will tie the head of the salagubang and let them fly while we’re holding the end of the tie. We’re running even we’re full of sweat and smells like sun. Another one memory of my childhood was, when we we’re creating our own kites using a tie, plastic and broom. We’ll run on the space of sugarcane land and tie those kites on sugarcane roots. We will run and will not stop even we fall many times. But when our parents called us while holding slippers or belt, we will run errands to go home.

There are lot of experiences I had experienced and there is one memory that I cannot forget even my hair turns to grey. That time, I was a grade 1p student, I told to my mom and dad that I will go to my classmates house to create a project but it end up climbing a mountain which is Mt. Talamitam in Brgy. Kayrilaw, Nasugbu, Batangas. While climbing, every step seems like improvement and motivation to continue walking, and then we reached the summit of the mountain. All of the tiredness, worries and every doubts were all disappeared as I saw the beautiful green scenery of the mountain. I was really amused my friends were really happy. That was the first time that I broke my parents rules, but I did not regret it. It’s another experience and memory of my journey.

Life would be boring if there’s no one to make you happy. In my whole life, I never expected that I will be a K-pop fan. I’m a fan of Twice girl group under the JYP Entertainment and X1 boy group from Produce X 101. Twice is the only girl group that I idolize so much. They always make my day complete and happier while X1 which is an 11 boys that makes me fall in love and causes pain on me due to their disbandment.

I have a lot of friends but to all the girls I met, she is the one that became my best friend. She is Alyssa Chloe Cabotage, she is my best friend since when we were Grade 4. Until now we treat each other as best friends. She’s studying at Olivarez College Tagaytay but she still chats me whenever she’s free. She is kind, lovable, thoughtful and a good friend of mine.

I also have this boy best friend who is Bary Daevid Peji, he became my best friend when we were grade 10. He’s really boastful yet kind-hearted man. He makes me happy buy he’s also my best enemy.

Last 2018, I met a man that I never thought that will be my partner in everything. He is Rich Marc Tenorio, he is my super best friend of all. He’s the only person who always understands me and know me better than anyone else.

Then the best peer group I had which is the PPG squad (Power Puff Girls squad”).

My favorite quotation that I also apply in my daily life is "NO EXPECTATIONS, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS".
