Winter suppressed a laugh and smiled at the younger girl. “Thank you Ruby and yes, I am. Is there something you wanted to know about the job? I could tell you if you like, if that was something you were interested in becoming? Weiss tells me you were wanting to be a Huntress, correct?”

Ruby blinked in mild surprise. That definitely wasn’t where she expected the conversation to go, but Ruby quickly collected herself. “Yeah, I’d rather be out fighting monsters than people. Oh, I mean, I know soldiers fight Grimm as well, but, you know…” She rubbed the back of her head awkwardly. “It sounds a lot tougher, leading all those troops. I only have to worry about leading my teammates…”
