i love rin, he genuinely worked his ass off to get to where he is now. he and his parents fought so hard to get him to compete with the other boys. he slowly became more and more masculine in nature as he grew up, but he was so unapologetically feminine as a kid,,, truly,,, we stan legends.
#and we all know how transphobic asian communities can be#but can u imagine haru and makoto and nagisa supporting him when he swam with the boys#and not the girls#can u imagine all of them refusing to shower because rin didn't feel confident enough to shower with the other guys#And Now#he doesn't swim with something covering his upper body#he's more privileged: he got hormone treatments and surgeries actually quite early in his life#I LOVE HIM SO MUCH GOD DJWF#ooc.
